Is ebtc about to be listed on coinbase? After the erc20 announcement it seems very likely

Please don't spread FUD be responsible this project has no chance to get listed on Coinbase. Actually we don't need troll into this community just read latest announcement from Coinbase what decision they took lately about listing on new coins.

No FUD here at all. If coinbase is pretty vanilla with their listings, and ebtc is pretty vanilla, I dont see why ebtc wouldnt get listed with them tbh. Both UK based, and I know coinbase saw that epl league advertisement. Very likely is all Im saying.

Do you guys think that the price will drop significantly after the airdrop tomorrow ?
Honestly youll have to make that call for yourself. If youre talking less than 500 coins sure but it will get increasingly difficult to buy 2000+ coins at a time

I still do not understand why we need bitcoin on the blockchain ethereum, it's like for me a complete nonsense in this there is no sense and benefit

The primary utility of the eBTC token is to provide an easy and fast payment solution with respectable transaction fees. It will be the primary payment method used in the eBitcoin Ecosystem.

eBTC has an edge over all existing cryptocurrencies on the Ethereum blockchain as no other token on Ethereum including ETH itself is capable of sending multiple payments in a single transaction.

eBitcoin (eBTC) allows holders to make up to 255 payments in a single transaction saving large amounts of time, energy, and costs.

eBTC is so fundamentally great in this way. Models the real world almost exactly, with ETH being the oil of the system and eBTC being the gold. I can see eBTC reaching great heights if ETH in fact overtakes Bitcoin for whatever reason.

No. It was insider trading.

Definitely by some friends n family of a serial forker Grin

Is anyone interested in investigating this crime? Some people made millions and millions of dollars in an immoral and illegal way. Such people are a disaster for our crypto community. They enrich themselves and make everyone else poorer and devalue the whole crypto currency system.

Not the whole crypto system!!! Only ZCL and BTCP. Other cryptocurrencies remain as they were before and after this fork!!!!!!

I like btcp but this makes it difficult to invest in

....

This is why I think the true price is probably around .25 to .30 instead of 60-80. The software is difficult to install on linux, there are issues with Qt, like you mentioned. There shouldnt be any problems with how long xspec has been around with an up to date stable ubuntu or debian system. The day the rich list is removed with an update, this coin is worth 20-30.

Can you explain your valuation model? I fail to see why it should be .25 to .3. The wallet runs smoothly on Windows. Yes, some people seem to have issues with the Linux install, others managed just well. I believe the new version will address some of these challenges. But none of this is new, and was already built into the price when it was 5 USD. So again, it would appreciate if you shared your valuation model.

This valuation is purely based on nov/dec 2017 prices before the large increase. A coin always reaches previous levels again before prices start to increase. Spectrecoin's uprun was incredible, 2k sats to 40k sats.

I have a question: I know we have 1-2 devs (anonymous). Are they working full time or in their spare time? Following the above comments I've started a review of all commits from last year and I'm trying to understand the context. I mean there are lots of commits but it's mostly meaningless UI stuff like aligning something here and there. I've yet to see any code that actually improves on the core...

They are working supposedly full time. What looks like "meaningless" UI stuff to you is probably also the result of trying to fix timing bugs in the QtWebkit / Qt combo that is used in the wallet, and caused numerous errors in the wallet, like balances not updating on startup etc.. On the one hand debugging these things is pretty difficult, and also the resulting changes in the source code are fairly minimal. If you don't believe that this has been worked on full-time, please ask JBG in Discord what took most of his time.

Have got to say, I was really interested in the first dual blockchain. All ideas were sounding really cool but I think the market is starting to speak for itself. All the twitter feed is about mining and so is this forum, lately. Is there any progress in the works for increased adoption/visibility, funders, and not just physical coins with certificates/playing with logos and animations?

Heres a reply to all: I think the price increase now is just a pump and dump ploy. Im holding a really small amount of btc in software wallet, but I still see a large crash. Im not a goldman investor or whatever, just a CS guy. No doubt that the gdax/coinbase message is really scareing new investors into not doing anything just hodl. Really didnt see why btc didnt push past 3000 on signaling, seems like scare tactics to get the price up and scoop up the low ones later and have the hodl'ers do their thing for long term. Short term, crash. Got fiat waiting to ride the wave on an alt like ltc. Good luck on your bets everyone. Btc is still king, just people arent willing to pay the high prices its really worth now.

Why bitcoin is about to drop hardcore because of new investors low knowledge
by

Whats up guys. Trying to piece together whats going on with crypto and wanted to see what other people thought about what I was thinking was going on.
*BIP has 80% with segwit but small percentage(~20%) wants BCC for mining profitability and network speeds.

*The btc chart looks now like it did in january 2014, so Im guessing prices will fall for 9 months like it did then but not for the reasons here(https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/35494/why-did-bitcoin-lose-value-so-fast-in-early-january-2015) but for the reason that all the new money in crypto is being hodl'ed and people taking their btc to get bcc seems to be popular.

*So large drop in price incoming, only thing Im uncertain about is the altcoin prices. They could go up to people being uncertain about btc in the drop, for people wanting to trade their btc for a safer hedge but could go down because people would rather stay safe in fiat, in the mad rush about to happen
