The Crown team has released a new version of the client (v0.12.4.1) today 13th March.

The network will have 20 days to update before enforcement is turned back on and old clients stop communicating correctly.

Update instructions:

**IMPORTANT: Always back up your wallet.dat before proceeding with any updates.**

• To update your local wallet please download the new Client at https://crown.tech/wallet
• To update your master- or systemnode, please run this script on your vps:

If you have cash at hand, Crown might be a good (cheap) option right now.
Team meets regularly - latest meeting was in Miami.

And their tech is promising too: not a single point of failure for its use-case, since it's a platform. Also legal compliance, something the entire market has to make choices about 2018/19 with regulation coming..
Right now trades for a little over 1.20$ - and the simple node is only 500 CRW (bigger one 10k CRW).

Crown Atomic Weekly Update

During the last week Artem continued working on Atomic specification, he is working mostly on clarification of public key infrastructure which is an important part of the project. Yesterday Artem and the new developer he introduced to Crown discussed future steps with regard to his involvement in the project. He will be able to join Crown from December as a full time core developer.  The new developer will mostly be working on the governance part of Atomic, Atomic and Governance are closely linked and Atomic heavily relies on a solid voting platform.  Also the core team had their weekly meeting and discussed some important design changes that will influence the whole project, it will improve security and scalability of the system.

Systemnode Update

We see the light at then end of the tunnel with testing.. We're making sure to test as many potential use cases as we can to assure a smooth update.
When Systemnodes are released there will be a cut off point for the majority of the network to update (2 weeks).
This cut off point will be hard coded so make sure to update asap once the Systemnode update is released.

We expect to release Systemnodes before the development meeting in Amsterdam next Friday (Worst case is we release after the meeting)

New Masternode monitor is just days away. Just finishing off the last page and some new icons for notifications and should be available on Google Play Store before the end of the week, then iOS App Store by the end of the following week

V2 includes a completely new backend with more reliable notifications, settings to change currency, notification alerts, including development news & price alerts - loads more info and stats on the network including payment frequency charts for Masternodes, estimated rewards and also now shows proposal details.
