Hopefully by next week we will be launching our lending platform. Again, the delays suck and they make us feel awful too. We are doing our best to speed things up. We really believe that by next week we should be all ready.
Again, this happened because we really need to prevent what happened with Bitconnect and other lending platforms. We are recreating the concept to don't violate any laws. That's the least thing we want to do.

Get ready for it. Of course, this is just a preliminary screenshot of the log in area, we will be sharing more actual screenshots of the lending platform this week.
About the questions considering the fall of Bitconnect and how this may impact us, we hope that this won't impact us much, as our goal is to integrate lending with eSports and betting, so that it ends up being profitable for the system. This will be done in phases, and the first one is to have the lending platform ready, and then move on with the integration in eSports betting.

Yes, we will have the first screenshots of our platform this week and we hope to finish it within 2 or 3 weeks, compared to the 4 weeks we said before.

We will have them this week. They are taking a bit longer than expected because we had some differences in the concept, since we were considering adding gaming into the lending platform, but we decided to do that for V2. We will have the first screenshots this week.

Yeah, eGold is a very good name and I think that they chose the same name and then felt it was too hard to change everything, since they would have to re-do their marketing materials.
Anyways, let's focus our efforts on this eGold and not talking bad about them or spamming their ANN please!

I've never been a fan of buy backs-but then again I am used to things like stock.
I think it is important to ask though, who is demanding that there be more volume now. Is it the exchanges, is it the holders wanting to sell, daytraders, is it potential buyers? Does the project team need more tokens on hand to get the platform started?
I don't know how much real $$ is behind the project, but usually it is a good idea to save existing capital to get you through the development and marketing stages-including post product delivery. So many inventors learn that building a better product isn't enough-it is about being able to afford the marketing and convincing people to use your platform.
The best way to increase volume is to focus on and deliver a product, and to marketing it prior to launch. The free market will decide from there.

Many of our token holders think that one of the problems of our coin was the volume, although it had raised a lot during the last few days. The buy-back program doesn't only help with that, but it will also gives us the opportunity to burn these coins. We aim to buy back at least 10% of the coins every year, and burning 10% of the coins every year would make our coin more rare and increase the value of them.
We do keep the product in mind too and we have enough capital to go through the development and marketing of the upcoming lending platform, that's our main priority.

Great work! If we have a usable lending platform, this could start rising a lot.
Can you update CoinMarketCap withe the correct Circulating Supply?
Right now, this coin is not on the radar because people do not see it when looking for undervalued coins. The market cap shows up as a question mark, so people overlook it easily. That could also make the price rise a bit once fixed.

Yes, we have contacted CoinMarketCap over that issue but we still didn't get an update. If everyone can do that that could help a lot! (The circulating supply is 20,000,000, same as total).
And we will definitely have an usable lending platform, we hope sooner than what we estimated on the Medium article. We have a great team and very capable developers so it will be a great opportunity for eGold.

I think management could have (and should have) made that decision without a poll. I was hoping the "we won" thing related to some type of exclusive contract. But it'll be interesting to see where the company/project is a year from now.

Been chatting with some of you, although I want to do an update here before New Year so that you guys know what we are working on, and what our comments are in some things:
- Some people are asking us to burn coins to raise the price of the tokens. We can't do that as we hold less than 3% at the moment, so even burning that amount wouldn't give you guys a big price raise.
- We are still focusing on more exchanges & our main applications, the eSports betting platform and apps that go with eGold. It is taking time but we are happy with the progress.
- We have been suggested a lot to create a lending platform. Now, before we make a decision, I wanted to give everyone an opportunity to cast their vote. We could create a lending platform, but I'd really appreciate if everyone votes on Twitter (not here, you are more than welcome to give your opinion, but I don't want people to spam the thread and get it deleted).
