"WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: To make sure you will receive the new ePRX tokens, YOU will need to follow the following steps: If for any reason you do not or can't follow these steps, YOU WILL NOT receive the new ePRX tokens!!
1. TILL 17th of March, YOU will have to move ALL your eBTC tokens into a wallet of which you hold the Private Key (Proxy Wallet for Android, or MyEtherwallet is good)."
• My question: can I also use the MetaMask Wallet for this?
Just one rule: Any wallet where you control the private key is fine. Exchange wallets won't work because you don't hold private keys for your coins on exchanges.

Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash]
This coin has potential it reached to 60 SATs earlier now its very cheap at 10 SATs,and if you see the sell orders anyone with 5-6 btc can easily pump and gain profits.
Yes.. I already setup the smart contract. But my token balance is : 0 fucktoken on my MEW But when I check on Ethplorer I can see that I have fucktoken.
You're using an old contract address. The correct contract is: 0xab16e0d25c06cb376259cc18c1de4aca57605589
Is this coin going to fork from ZCl or from BTC? If the plan is to fork from ZCL, then I guess BTC owners will have to use sign/verify message as a mechanism for claiming, right? Be aware that this mechanism is not defined for segwit type addresses, which basically leaves out everyone who moved to segwit.
ZCL and BTC both included.
You own 1 ZCL --> You keep 1 ZCL + get 1 BTCP You own 1 BTC --> You keep 1 BTC + get 1 BTCP
And yes, BTCP does not have SegWit hence the fork will leave out all SegWit BTC addresses.

Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash]
We're pleased to release the Zlassic Electrum Wallet Beta to our community! Available to download here: github.com/BTCP-community Stay tuned for one more update before our major announcement taking place tomorrow at our first ever Bitcoin Private conference (will be live-streamed).
But i can't really use it because it has the same name as the Electrum BTC wallet i use on OSX. They should rename their wallet to something like Electrum-ZCL.
use at your own risk. i am just posting the link they shared.
Does that mean it is using the same "Appdata" folder as BTC Electrum? If that's the case, it's going to be problematic for a lot of people.
Electrum (btc) stores files in a folder in the user directory. /Users/XXXXXXXX/.electrum I don't know where the Electrum-BTCPrivate will store the data. And option would be to use Electrum-BTCPrivate with a different user.
Oh, I just noticed now that you're on OSX. I'm on Windows. Neverthless I will make sure to run it as a different user, just make sure it doesn't overwrite my BTC Electrum folder. Thanks for heads up!

Be very very careful about whom you trust with your money!
Hi,
Thanks for your post, I have gone through your message and I do remember you. I have cleared your questions back then as well. Anyways just because there is larger premining of coin for investors doesn't mean DAXX was scam.
FYI its been 7 months since its launch and its working you can check transactions and all details.
Thanks.
LOL, so your argument is that DAXX isn't a scam just because it has a working explorer and there are some transactions happening? LOLOLOLOLOLOL...!!
- No fair launch: website up from 2016, trading from June '17, announcement on 7th July - 500 million pre-mine - claim to have an ICO which never happened - no ICO, no investors, just pre-mine - Coins on their web wallet are locked, you can only withdraw 100 coins a day - Whitepaper (which has nothing special) was released just 2 days ago - Someone is filing lawsuit against OP for fraud charges.
I just checked and looks like everything is fine. Try again with my referral link if you don't mind, if that makes any diffference: https://hitbtc.com/?ref_id=594e76c34fc2c
If it still doesn't work, probably try a different browser or computer?

Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash]
9 Pages and there still isn't discussion about the differences between Bitcoin Private and Monero? Or PIVX, ZCash or Dash?
Monero is years in development and testing and the King of privacy coins. The devs also have several major releases coming soon addressing speed and privacy.
I'm all for advancements in blockchain but if you're going to release a privacy coin, it's merits over existing products needs to be discussed.
ZCL is a clone of ZCash, so you can safely say BTCP will have same features as ZCash, at least initially. Future development may add/remove certain functionalities but that's a discussion for future.
Clone yes, but does not have that insane 20% developer fee as Zcash has and fee free feature will transfer to Bitcoin Private also. In my opinion, all coins that are premined, include fees to developers and/or masternodes are basically scams or alternatively will just make already rich even richer in the end for almost zero work done for it.
This includes Dash too. What do you have to pay, max. $25/month to get turnkey VPN to run masternode? And for that you get ~80 Dash/year which is quite a lot money these days for nothing.
Also don't forget the insta-mine that was done by original developer back in the days when it was still called Dark Coin. That insta-mine will always haunt DASH. Although new-comers don't know about it so they care less.
