are you referring to to the clock on my windows desktop?
Yes, a system clock out of sync might cause errors and the wallet will process blocks with the wrong timestamp. It happened to me too
I shut the wallet and compouter down for several hours...Just rebooted it. Wallet is still saying it is out of sync...I must admit. This is frustrating.
Isn't the wallet displaying a message like ""Chekpoint is too old, wait for blockchain to download, or notify developers."?
If so, forget about it. It will work nonetheless.
Yes, this is just warning message. But thanks for notification. This will be fixed.
Thanks I seach on the web, Laptop is not a good thing on 24h/24h Maybe a micro-PC but must find a monitor
You do not need fancy monitor just to monitor how your wallet works. You could even just borrow monitor to install everything and then connect to this host using 'Remote desktop' or VNC.
Noble coin returns back to dust freely... This didn't look like a pump and dump to me, but what do I know. Still hodling
This sudden price rise was due to recent large(ish) exposure on JRBusiness, YouTube channel. It was new 'investors' coming in to chase profits. Not an organised P&D.
It looks like it's been updated this year? Still an active project?
Noble is still an active project, but it's not in full time development.
EDIT: I'm pretty sure www.noblecoin.io is not a website created or maintained by Rofo. It has bad grammar and mistakes everywhere (Rofo wouldn't put out anything with errors). Until it has been vetted, I wouldn't trust it and definitely wouldn't use the links to download the wallets.
I confirm www.noblecoin.io is not maintained neither by Rofo nor by myself. This is not an official website for Noblecoins.
Hello, Anyone can give me some good laptop to make POS 24h/24h (dedicade for 2 or 3 wallet POS)
I suppose most of time ill use the core only ? i m not a specialist on laptop :/
Thanks for help
I would say any laptop with decent CPU and 8GB+ memory. What's not important is graphic card. Also SSD drive is nice to have (but not critical) as it may greatly increase download of blockchain from internet.
But if you do not need to travel with it just get some desktop computer. They are more reliable (break less often), are easier to manage, fix and to add replace parts in the future. Personally I would get a desktop with motherboard supporting at least 16 GB of RAM and buy 8 GB of RAM for current use (make sure there are still empty memory slots so you can buy more RAM in the future). Memory is often critical and very easy to install. Almost anyone can do this in desktop.
Speaking about CPU I love AMD Ryzen line. If you do not want to play games on this computer go for it.
Anyone know what is the total/max supply for Noble?
Thanks!
You can get this information from your wallet using 'getinfo' command. But if you do not run it just go to our explorer website https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nobl/#
Thanks! I tried but it does not connect to nodes. I copied in roaming noblecoin.conf, as suggested in readme, but that doesn't help. How could I add nodes? Could I use peers.dat from one of these versions? http://noble.ilikebtc.com/
I'm not an expert at that though, so hopefully EagleFlies can weigh in with some info.
Here is a link to another wallet: https://mega.nz/#!dnhSjAAY!dVHe8hZbUPH08dbEfPSwvH46JyRAWbmCmnLqp345yWw
Hello,
You do not need to connect to nodes using PoW wallet. This blockchain does not work anymore. The only thing PoW wallet is needed for is to display private keys.
Also I strongly advise anyone getting PoW wallet (but also any executable files in general) to test it using antivirus software. Also it is best to run this wallet in a virtual machine e.g. virtualbox with no access to internet.
have you tried this:/github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Importing-private-keys-from-old-wallet.dat-using---salvagewallet-option
my wallet.dat is encrypted, -salvagewallet is not working for me
Open your old PoW wallet and do "dumprivkey", no need to sync blockchain, then import it to new PoS wallet using "importprivkey" in your wallet console
tnx for trying to help, unfortunately I get the same error
dumpprivkey my_noblecoin_address {"code":-4,"message":"Private key for address my_noblecoin_address is not known"}
I've helped quite a bit of people transfer their old Noble to new wallet.dat's whether they were encrypted or not but now I'm getting overwhelmed with help requests on the topic along with other crypto projects I'm working on.
To compensate for the time away from working on other crypto projects, I'll performed any wallet salvage for a 4% total recovered coin fee. I can normally recover within an hour to your new Noble Wallet and have access to all older wallet versions.
As for my credibility, I'm the Technical Adviser for USDEX Coin, Developer of Moon Hashing Mining Pool, and Owner of a 5 Star Computer Company in FL, USA. Normally I help anywhere I can in crypto land for free but I've become overwhelmed with help request that it's taking away from my normal income.
If interested in my help the best way to contact me for help is by email: support@moonhashing.com
I advise everyone to try solve wallets problems by themselves. When handing your keys to somebody else there is always risk of losing 100% of money. Not saying cdl2010 is legit or not but better stay vigilant.
Here it is. This is the same link provided on the first post of this thread as well, if you want to confirm. It's maintained by Eagleflies and confirmed by Noblecoin's lead developer Rofo.
Thanks mate! If I understood correctly this is a POS-wallet and it is worthless to import a POW-wallet file in there? My wallet is from 2013-2014 or something like that
Yes you must know your public adress, import privet key from public adress and use it to the new wallet POS
Many post talking about that here , page 595 around
Thank you mate! Syncing my old Noble-wallet right now. Have to check if I still got my coins in there and password recovery is gonna be a bit tricky
I am not sure you can still sync old blockchain. If you know your public addresses you can check their balance using old explorer -> https://chainz.cryptoid.info/noblold/
But still it is better to just proceed with procedure to migrate old wallet into PoS wallet. Please use procedure from my previous posts.

None, maibe there are only couple lucky ones that saw it on 1-3 satoshi weeks ago, made their homework and loaded a wagon. They deserve to take some reward now, I hope they will make it softly, still fragile baby. Its going straight up because we need noble projects in this crazy crypto world.
What happened in the past was blockchain swap - we swapped from huge inflation to PoS with 8% inflation yearly. And in reality current inflation is more like 2-3% since not everyone keeps staking.
Thanks. How do I export private keys from old wallet dat? Do I need to run old pow wallet? I can't find pow wallet yet. Maybe I should send you the wallet.dat
And your transaction happened 9 days later at 2015-03-11 11:16:49
This means snapshot on PoW chain was done prior to your transaction. So any subsequent transfers on PoW chain do not matter. Money is/was still sitting on previous addresses. So please investigate INPUTS of your transaction. If you control private keys to them then you control the money.
Coinmarketcap website link leads to another website. Please fix.
Coinmarketcap is correct. https://www.noblemovement.com/indexis the official website of this project. It was set up by Rofo (creator of Noble) who focuses now on Mobile App.
And follow the procedure: 1. download blockchain.tgz file 2. unpack it into directory where you have your current blockchain files 3. start noblecoin-qt.exe 4. verify if your wallet accepted those files
I have uploaded blockchain files from linux and thinking they should work. But if there is an issue please let me know.
