Yup, saving on desktop worked! i think the problem is i originally saved the darkcoin-qt in some Godforsaken place lol Thank you all for your prompt help.

Hm, i had the same problem with stuck transaction. Did exactly what Minotaour said but i got error message "darkcoin-qt is neither internal or external command..."

Any idea what i might be doing wrong? 

I think Darkcoin price fluctuation is directly linked to the bitcoin price. I think some whales use Darkcoin to hedge against Bitcoin.

I am not even sure if Chinese exchanges' volume is real. It is important to understand that the numbers we see in the exchnage accounts are not the indication of the possession of the real coins. For example, An exchnage owner can create an account for himself and add some fake balance and start trading with it. Since they are not paying any fees, it is very easy for the exchnage operators to manipulate the price and make huge profits out of it. Hope my point is understood. There was a well written article about it but unfortunately could not find it. If anyone knows what I am talking about and read that article, please share it here. Thanks.

I don't know what you mean by "Manipulation" and "fake rise". For every sell, there is always buyer and the other way around. "fake rise and manipulation" accusations would only be relevant for day traders. If you are a long term investor then you should not be even looking at charts now. You should patiently wait for the next bitcoin bubble which will drag all the leading altcoins with it.

Dude, Darkcoin used to be more than 10$ a piece and at that time we had only a fraction of today's development. Yes, we had some green candles last couple of weeks but we are still not even at 2$ per coin and you are already panicking and wanna sell? Be my guest. Let the natural selection do its work
