Hi guys, maybe someone can help me here:
is there a way to extract from Bitcoin Core some stats about the totale number of wallets?
like an historical series of how the number of addresses with greater than zero balance evolved over time?
or just a snapshots of all the addresses balance at a given period of time...
or to export the DB in CSV or something readable...
than I could derive my stats.

Ciao a tutti, secondo me un trust per cryptovalute avrebbe senso.
Il Trust infatti non è quello che avete descritto sopra, che in effetti non avrebbe senso, ma un istituto giuridico anglosassone che consentirebbe di "spossessarsi" di uno o più Bitcoin, e affidare un incarico a un esecutore che dovrebbe fare alcune cose con questi Bitcoin, secondo regole predeterminate, in cambio di un compenso.

Si potrebbe quindi rimanere completamente anonimi e, per esempio, disporre delle esecuzioni testamentarie anche complesse.
Penso ad esempio che se uno lascia in eredità i Bitcoin alla compagnia "nubbia", rischierebbe che l'ereda li comprometta per imperizia o li gestisca male, per esempio vendendoli subito tutti a sconto. O magari un benefattore vuole finanziare una no profit ma con un impegno fisso mensile, non dando tutti i soldi subito, fino a che non si raggiunga un determinato obiettivo e solo a patto che vengano soddisfatte delle predeterminate condizioni.

Sarebbe il top infine se si riuscisse a creare un Trust "trust-less", decentralizzato, basato su smart contract.

I don't know specifically about Cardano but this news does not surprise me.
My understanding is that the dream to develop a "Proof of Stake" cryptocurrency, got a lot of setbacks and it seems that in practise is not possible to give up "Proof of Work" if you want to remain secure and decentralized.
Even the upgrade plans for Ethereum abandoned the full "Proof of Stake" idea, and switched to a model that uses a mix of PoW and PoS.
