Hey everybody, if you signed up for the airdrop but did not receive your tokens please go to the eBTC Slack and PM Satoshi21 (me). I will send you some of my tokens.

Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin
2 days is not much time to give for people to sign up for a airdrop. This thread was created on the 27th and the airdrop signup ended on the 29th, giving almost no time for anyone to signup for this airdrop. The fact that 8000 emails received the airdrop makes this project very suspicious.
I announced the project on September 18th. The airdrop sign up was open for 10 days before I created this ANN thread.
Well, my bad then. Why create another thread then? I have not seen any thread related to this airdrop before but I might have just missed it.
I did not create the other thread.

Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin
how many coins will each participant get in this airdrop and this airdrop is very vulnerable from multiple accounts because it only asks MEW and email
it depends on the number of participants. but my guess is something between 3 000 and 15 000 participants. The mne project raised 3k addresses. The ELIX project few months ago raised 4000 addresses. btw. its now traded at 5 dollar cents. so don't say an airdrop is worth nothing if it only asks dor email and eth address.
It feels like this project doesn't get that much attentions so I think it will be between 2 000 and 8 000 participants.
Do you make a check for multiple submissions from one ip?
Yes I'll be checking for multiple submissions. Some people have been with friends and registered with the same IP address, if any of you have done something like that either email me or PM me in the eBTC slack with the emails which were registered.

Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin
Airdrop will running for 4 days, and the results will be determined when all the alamt has been collected and will be split evenly, I think 2 million people will follow this airdrop, and the results will not be calculated if converted to BTC or ETH (too little)
agreed The airdrop is very fragile from cheating requires only email and ethereum address too simple I did not follow this event because maybe 2 million people have already registered and the pool will be very crowded
So far ~12,000 have registered.
After the airdrop you should post the list of the over 12,000 Ethereum addresses you have airdropped to. Otherwise, you're probably keeping more than you stated.
After the distribution you'll be able to see the list of token holders on Etherscan along with each holders balance. I can assure you I will not be keeping more than the 5% (1,050,000) I said I'd be keeping, there's no incentive for me to do that.

Holy feck mate that's quite a lot in a couple days.
Can't imagine they're all unique.
I announced the project ten days ago, so it's been more than a couple. Although I can confirm that they're not all unique. I will do my best to remove any repeat submissions. I chose to do it this way to have the most fair airdrop possible, one that doesnt exclude anyone (if I did it based on bitcointalk rank), or give more tokens to some people based on the amount of money they have (if I did it based on ETH balances). Each way has trade-offs, just know I'm trying to make it as fair as possible for you guys.

Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin
I did signup for the airdrop, and wish to receive my tokens soon. However, how is this "The new bitcoin"? I see many tokens nowadays come without any new innovation from the dev team and im wondering what makes you think that your token is different from them. Don't take me wrong, im just questioning the idea behind this. Are you going to use BTC's blockchain somehow in a way that it has not used on Ethereum before or what? Also it's easy to claim your airdrop many times, so i think you should limit the airdrop for certain user accounts on bitcointalk. For example i could login to different VPN servers and claim the drop with different throwaway emails and ETH addresses, so you might want something more secure and fair as distribution.
Yeah I'm aware of that problem, I will not be changing the criteria for the airdrop however. If people really want to make all those different emails and ETH addresses and use a VPN for each new submission then confirm the email too then they'll end up receiving eBTC. There are trade-offs for each way of doing an airdrop. If I distributed based on ETH balances, then people with only a little ETH won't receive a fair share, if I distribute based on rank on bitcointalk then a good portion of people get excluded from the airdrop.
Is it the same one? If I have joined the airdrop by signing up on the website, do I need to do it again?
Yes it's the same one. Didn't see that Medracen posted that, beat me to it I'm the creator of eBTC so I suppose this is the official thread but it's fine to have two! Also, if you already signed up then no need to do it again.
