Free-to-use Next-Gen QR-Capable ESEE (Easy) Crypto Wallet for multiple cryptos!
After compiling multiple QT wallets, I started to realize that although you can generate QR codes, you can't really use them. What use is generating QR codes when you have no way of uploading or scanning them into the wallet? Then there was ESEE (pronounced: easy) Wallet.
ESEE Wallet takes the inconvenient part of transactions out of the picture. Want to generate a QR code with an address an amount? It's as easy as filling in two fields, and clicking a button. What can you do with this QR code? You can have someone scan it in-person to prefill their ESEE wallet fields, or you can transfer the image file to them so that they can download it and upload it to their ESEE wallet (which prefills the fields as well). Now, this takes the mistakes of the sending-user entering the wrong address or wrong amount out of the equation because YOU as the request-user are in control (since you are the one generating the QR code).
The ESEE Wallet is also lightweight and secure. We've tried to keep the wallet applications as minimal as possible to reduce the amount of lag and load time. Additionally, every single account that is created through the ESEE wallet is encrypted with a key and a passphrase. Even if a user knows your passphrase, they still need access to the key (and vice-versa).
Lastly, there are working APIs across our wallet so that you can check account information such as balance, address, and recent transactions.

How to run the gui wallet in Ubuntu 18.04? What are the req packages? Just downloading the tar and untar it doesn't run
Don't bother for now. Coin has been getting exploited and the dev isn't around to patch the code (the dev also does not respond at all, it's like he's dead). The supporter isn't even in discord anymore. I think they pumped the coin from their fake news about the Cryptopia listing then dumped and left. Typical shitcoin scam

Yet another scam coin. Dev never replies on Discord (probably a bot), ask a question and the supporter tells you to be quiet or get banned, no official masternode setup guide, no proof of concept for their platform, no news about their platform, price is at 100 sats. Take it as you will, this project is just another scam. I feel bad for the people who invested at 1000+ sats and get threatened by the supporter to not ask where their investment $$ is going.

No purpose, no benefits. Same shitcoin forked DIRECTLY from DASH (just like the other PoW/MN shitcoins) with 0 volume on any exchange and 100 satoshis. Do NOT invest in this coin. Dev wanted to fork into a PoS/MN blockchain yet doesn't know how to. LOL. Shit Coin. Shit Dev.

This coin is fucking dead. Don't even try to fool yourself. Dev tried to rally price to 1000 sats and it's back down to 100. Trash coin, scam coin. Dev is MIA, no progress, price is in the trashcan. #timeToBail

The dev apparently jumped ship a few weeks ago, and we're here left to pick up the pieces.
I'm not a coin dev (mostly a full-stack webdev who dabbles in C and C# as well) but I've tried my best to fork the coin in a better direction (and give the coin a meaning):

What are the changes? Miner rewards have been reduced to 10% while masternodes are up to 90%. Block rewards stay at 10 ZEX. Masternode collateral has doubled meaning now 3000 ZEX is required to hold a masternode (this was done to combat the excessive pumping and dumping in addition to preventing current investors from very easily obtaining a masternode at current prices; in short, this should raise the price by increasing the "difficulty" to obtain a new ZEX or masternode).
What's in store for the future? First I have a web-wallet platform that is mass-deployable (http://wallet.zex-coin.com). Meaning nearly anyone who wants to can just plug in their coin name, and have a turnkey web wallet. This is step 1 for getting this coin out of the dump.
Step 2 is to live up to the coin's revised full-name: Zero (fee) Exchange Xperiment. That's right, we're going to launch a zero-fee bot-resistant exchange from a source made from scratch to test out with our own coin (ZEX). After beta testing is finished the last step (Step 3) is to launch the platform so that any coin (but mostly targeted at newer coins) can have their own isolated exchange away from bots and the sea of other coins to at least get a foothold into the crypto market instead of being instantly overrun. Why pay a ton to get listed on an exchange that doesn't put them first when our platform ALWAYS puts them first because it's THEIR exchange.
