I'll say up front I haven't read the whole thread.
Here is my problem with 99% of new altcoins. They are just ideas. Someone has a big idea, makes a coin, gets it on an exchange as quick as possible and most of the time the coin pumps and dumps and dies. In my opinion for an alt coin right now to succeed a lot work must be done before it's announced and mined. Software must be developed, games/casino/etc up the minute the coin launches, debit/credit cards with coins available right away, the blockchain and all wallets pre-made, etc.
So many coins come out with nothing but a plan, gets some coins, makes some BTC and decided it's too much work to actually do what was purposed or never planned on doing it anyways. There needs to be better use-ability in the now and not just in the present. Just my 2 cents.

Definitely agree with that. I just saw an IPO for something I think is called Checkcoin, and I thought the idea was really good and has huge potential, but I can't really justify giving them any money because it was exactly what you described - purely an idea with no evidence that they've done anything yet or that they are capable of doing what they say.
I did agree with your statement but after having mail contact i was pretty convinced that these guys are really trying to pull this thing off the ground, and just to make sure that this is not another scam team i tried to call them and that also was a success. I spoke to the same guy that mailed me. I asked them again about the future plans and what the plans are considering the IPO. They told me everything that they were planning to do and specified almost every investment they needed to do to let this idea be a success. So Im pretty convinced that this could be a good investment and a great idea for the crypto world. After all the confirmations I feel very comfortable to invest so I invested 1 btc for 25.000 Checkcoin.
So thumbs up for me!

What is wrong with the people on this forum. What is wrong with a IPO? Software development would cost around 100,000 euro if not more. It seems there is no revenue model behind this project is there devs? Softwade is expensive wether u like it or not
Okay, so it seems there was a typo in their IPO form.
I have just placed an order for 1 BTC and received a confirmation email saying I ordered 25000 checkcoins. I decided to call them and ask what was wrong and they informed me that the price per checkcoin is 4000 sats. It seems that there was a typo on their IPO order form

This project actually looks good but 40k sat per coin is a LOT regardless of how slow mining is. I'd say 8k-10k would be a lot more reasonable for an initial offering.
Also Bitsend is a reputable site, can anyone confirm that this project is indeed backed by Bitsend?

Just did some research. I'm conviced..in fact i just got off the phone with one of their devs. Their phone number is on the website. OK maybe short term the price is pretty high. But they are able to pull this off this coin will go sky high. Seems to me this is the first time a currency is actually backed up by a real company.
Also checked https://twitter.com/bitsendnl/status/494077779269672960 to confirm it is infact a project by Bitsend. Just invested 1 BTC myself. GL to all investors

Dunno mate. But I guess the stealth market is running on a IP VPS and u need acces with your IP and port. What ports do you have to forward? Get in your router and open these ports.

yes the market is frozen on bittrex due to the fork. one of the devs said they will release a statement regarding this in this thread by tomorrow.

How is this different than any other group of investors in any business venture, public stock, or commodity?

Love where you're going with this. The check part is sound in design, however I believe that the font of the fronts of the cards could use some work.
Love this idea, would make a great gift to have a couple of these pre-made and then a year give them away when BC is worth x10 in price.

Okay so after my last post about my paper wallet idea i've got some pretty positive responses and decided to work my concept out a little more. I've changed the name from "Blackcoin Safepaper" to "Blackcheque" so that you can use it also for promotional purposes like giveaways / gifts etc.
Here is the new design and also the inner paper. Obviously i've tried to make it look a little more luxurious with some signatures etc. but im still working on perfectionizing that.
Im still working on a better design as always. But I thought i keep you all updated so that i can receive some feedback and help during the way.
