Re: PhoenixMiner 6.2c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)

The new beta version is ready. It is mostly a bugfix release, the more significant upgrades are coming next month. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.3b from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Linux.tar.gz

The new features in this release are:

  • Full LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no

  • RTX 3060 LHR       ~ 50 MH/s
  • RTX 3060 Ti LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 Ti LHR       ~ 81 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 10GB LHR   ~ 98 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 Ti LHR       ~ 120 MH/s

  • Dual mining TON

  • Fixed an issue with expired SSL certificate that led to "certificate verify failed" errors when connecting to some pools (notably Ethermine) when using SSL connections
  • Show the GPU vendor name in the list of GPUs to make it easier to identify the GPUs
  • Added support for the latest AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1. There are some bugs in these drivers, particularly the clocks and voltages can't be set properly with older
    cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII)
  • Validated support for the latest AMD Windows drivers up to 21.11.2
  • Fixed issues with AMD RX6700XT cards with the latest AMD and Linux drivers
  • Fixed issues with AMD Vega and Radeon VII cards on latest Windows and Linux drivers
  • Fixed crash with very old Nvidia drivers (3xx.x)
  • Other fixes and small improvements

Known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:

If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer cards on the same rig.
Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

Hi,

Is this thread closed?

The link seems broken.  If you are genuinely releasing it to the public, why not put it out on git?

Thanks

I think I'm gonna go with ZeusHash when it opens in 3 days.

If once I start receiving payouts,  is it best to:

a) sell
b) store
c) buy more mh/s

or a combination of those.

What do you guys generally do with mining profits?

3 Days to go until ZeusHash opens.  I'm going to buy some MH/s I've decided.

I'm just wondering whether to store my payouts or invest in more MH/s?

What do you guys generally do? Or a combination of both?

Any good scrypt cloud mining sites?

Hi

I don't have much crypto but I'd like to invest a little with a reasonable chance of ROI (don't we all!)

Anyways I was thinking of cloud mining for various reasons.

I came across ZeusHash beta due to launch in a couple of weeks.

I heard it's $16 per MH

Can anyone offer any advice on this?  Good or bad investment?

Or suggest better alternatives and why?

Thanks

Hey,

I'm thinking about investing a small amt in cloud mining.

I came across ZeusHash beta that launching in a couple of weeks.

$16 per MH seems pretty good compared to the HW that's actually shipping.

Can anyone offer me any advice? Good or bad investment for me.

Thanks  Smiley

Hey,

Excuse my ignorance, but what is GAW exactly?  Is it part of Zeus?

I may be looking to invest some of the small amount of crypto I'm still holding into mining.

I was checking out the ZeusHash that is launching in a couple of weeks $16 per MH seems pretty reasonable compared to HW that's actually shipping right now.  I'm definitely considering it.

Can anyone offer any advice please?  Good or bad investment?  Anyone have any suggestions at all?

Cheers!  Smiley

I can appreciate this is 'bitcointalk.org' but if I could just throw this into the mix?

Scrypt cloud mining?

I heard someone say Zeushash is $16 per MH.  I'm thinking of buying some as the price looks good compared to available HW I can find that is currently shipping.

Can anyone offer me any advice on this please?

I thought Cloud mining was dictated by supply and demand ... surely at some point it becomes profitable?

With more cloud centres popping up would you expect the competition to be good for cloud mining profitability?

I'm interested to see what ZeusHash beta prices launch at.

I kind of like the 'idea' of cloud mining, and would definitely prefer not dealing with the electric bills.  I'd like to just set and forget I guess.

I agree with what the person above said though.  Those figures, in hindsight, cex.io was a terrible investment compared to buying crypto.

Presumably when someone loses, someone somewhere wins right?

It can't go down forever can it?  Huh

I'll certainly spend more time (when I get it!) and look into all the advice you gave me.  Right now I'm juggling work and study all hours.  I'm flat out (pant!) It's all good!

Re: [ANN] jCryptoTrader BETA - open source trading client

Hi

Running on win 7 32bit.

I can't enter more than 1 rule.  2nd rule removes the 1st etc.

 MarketRule rule = ruleIterator.next();
                    if (rule.condition.isSatisfied(ruleData)) {
                        if (rule.action != null) {
                            rule.action.apiWorker = worker;
                            Thread actionThread = new Thread(rule.action);
                            actionThread.run();
                        }
                        if (callback != null) {
                            callback.onSuccess(rule);
                        }
                        if (executionType == MarketRuleExecutionType.ONLY_FIRST_SATISFIED) {
                            this.clear();
                            break;
                        }
                        ruleIterator.remove(); // Rule executed
                    }

How to change this I have absolutely 0 experience in Java.

Nice app.  I really appreciate something like this being open source.  If I could set 2 No. rules ie.  One sell @ x.xx and one buy @ x.xx It would be perfect for what I want to do at Cryptsy.

/*edit:  Also cancel order does not work from the GUI and I have to do it at Cryptsy,  could any experienced developer have quick look at this if you get a moment.  As it would take me forever (and I still wouldn't solve it).  failing that I may ask some colleagues at work if they wouldn't mind taking a look at the code.*/

Can anyone offer some advice on this please?

Thanks

Hey W-M

Thanks for your advice, It's great to hear.  I will take note and look at improving those points when I can spend a bit more time on it.  I see what you mean about the icons and menu, I just wasn't too sure.  It's been a good learning curve and I hope the next site I do will be better.

As an employer said to me the other day(because I am a carpenter by trade);  you wouldn't expect and apprentice carpenter to build a spiral staircase when he was just starting out!  I couldn't agree more.

I really appreciate you taking the time to review my work and give some feedback, I appreciate your honesty.

I would like to PM you a for a bit more detailed feedback if I could.

It's real late here and I need sleep right now.

BTW I've been offered a placement for work experience with the possibility of a job so I'm happy about that.

Thanks

Chat to you later  Smiley

Guys,

Thanks so much for your kind words,  sorry I haven't been on for a while been so busy, busy.

I love the way you tech pros are so helpful to beginners, it's very encouraging, I hope I can do the same someday.

Initscri; I hear you about spreading myself too thin, Great advice thanks, it makes sense.
San1ty; Thanks for the info. it's good to know.
RCHumphrey; Thanks for saying that about my site, sorry haven't done GFX.

I have had an interview and have been asked back for a second time. Have three more interviews coming up and I feel I'm really making progress, so I'm really pleased, hopefully something will come of it.

I'm fortunate enough to live in an area where there is a high demand and there is a current drive backed by the government to help more people into the industry so it's a good time for me to get in.  I'm lucky.

If  things don't work I'll regroup and try a different approach.  I'll get there somehow  Smiley

I wish I could thank you all personally for your advice, I will take it all on-board and get onto it when I have a bit more time.

Thanks guys.

Hey all,

I will be giving away 10,000 Doje to the first 5 people who sign up for my newsletter on my website.  If anyone is interested:

simplycoin.co.uk Check the Newsletter page for details.

Offer will open at around 2:00 pm GMT. (wait for the red message on the Newsletter page)

The reason I am doing it is because I have an interview with an employer, I want to show him my website and I would like a few visitors online when I show him.

I will be in an interview so it may be a bit before or after 2pm but I will give at least 50,000 Doje to new signups.

Thanks.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.  I'm still trying to figure out what's what with; front end / back end / client side / server side etc. So I'll have to be honest not 100% sure at this stage I just know I love learning about programming.

Although if I had to hazard a guess I'd say my interest would lie at back end and server side.  From what little I know of it, it seems very appealing to me and I want something that will really challenge me!

I have only been learning HTML and CSS for 2 months and started JavaScript because I didn't know any difference.  When I finish this course I want to look int PHP, Rails and all sorts of other things, I'm just not sure where to start!  So much to learn!  I could do with some guidance.

In between job hunting and doing jobs I will stick at the basic tutorials of JavaScript, although I'm struggling with it, (I'm very noob) I refuse to give up!  I love solving problems!

Now you have mentioned node.js I will definitely take a look at that.  (I hadn't really heard of it before just recognized the name.)

Cheers for your help.  I really appreciate it.  Smiley

*Edit
Just saw your post moni3z.  Thanks for the link.  I'll def. check it out, (love free tutorials  Smiley).
Loving the info guys keep it coming!  Cheesy
