My 2 cents:

To persuade people to answer all of those you have to be really transparent about your offer. I mean some of those questions do not have a simple answer and even senior level engineer won't be able to pinpoint correct answer without making a quick google search.
This sort of list will only be effective if you sit right next to the candidate answering questions. Otherwise, you will receive generic bitcoin wiki answers most of the time.
Unless you understand bitcoin on the same level, you are likely will be unable to distinguish if your candidate has deep knowledge of just general understanding.

I feel that fewer broad questions that will provoke healthy subject discussion would bear much better results. You can ask your candidate to describe what steps they will take to create basic payment service based on Bitcoin. Or how would they handle deposits from a few thousand users? How to consolidate funds on your hot wallet? Usually, people with real experience will immediately begin to tell you stories from their past, dive into detail and open up.

Thanks OP, you show how it's easy to create a token, just a few simple steps and cheap. That's why we must be careful with new ICO.
No, you should be wary of new ICO for a quite different reason. Hammers are cheap and very effective in bashing skulls, but you should not be afraid of hammers. You should always be afraid of those who use the tool, not the tool itself.

Re: [Article] Everything you need to know about Airdrops and how to create one
by

I kinda like an off-chain Airdrops idea. Much easier to hodl all airdropped tokens in one place where I could start trading them immediately after markets go live. Removes a lot of hassle with Myetherwallets and inherent transaction fees. Centralization is, of course, an issue, but I wouldn't be worried as much since I wouldn't be storing Bitcoins there anyway.
Then you should sign up for our newsletter at einax.com - we will be announcing new Airdrops released on einax.

Re: [ANN] EiNAX.COM - New Airdrop Distribution and Crypto Voucher Exchange Platform
by

on 11/09/2018, 10:42:04 UTC
So its more than an exchange. Got wonderful landing page. Will this platform allow bounty managers to distribute the airdrop tokens to their participants who are not registered in this platform? Also is their any referral reward?

Yes, our platform only allows distribution to einax users (i.e. all transactions happening off-chain to allow token devs save on tx fees).
Regarding referrals - it is not likely we will be implementing referrals before actual exchange launches. We thought about that but it's rather difficult - currently, the platform does not generate revenue (withdrawal fees are almost equal to blockchain fees and only there to prevent possible abuse. Basically, we are providing free services at this point. We are doing this in order to promote service, so it will be hard to share profits until we have profits from the exchange)

Re: Proof that Proof of Stake is either extremely vulnerable or totally centralised
by
einax_oliver
on 11/09/2018, 09:06:49 UTC
I think modern POS (like Casper, or deligated POS) have a solution on the majority of the issues described by OP.  Casper (should) effectively punish malicious actors if hard fork occurs, and delegated POS makes it nearly impossible for a malicious actor to gain enough support to be voted into validator position. They both have their issues (like major centralization of DPOS) but my strong belief they should be developed and tested at scale anyway.

check out Casper docs for more info https://github.com/ethereum/wiki/wiki/Proof-of-Stake-FAQs

Re: A new consensus that promises high levels of security (PoH)
by
einax_oliver
on 11/09/2018, 09:00:42 UTC
I was navigating through different projects and a new consensus called "Proof of Honesty" (PoH).

In simple words, in this consensus users select in which nodes their transactions will be validated, rather than PoW and PoS where nodes determine the validity of the transactions.
The idea is that users do not select the "dishonest" nodes as they let only the "honest" validators to validate the transactions, resulting to nearly 100% BFT.

Do you think that this idea may improve the security of blockchains?

There are tons of problems with this approach. First of all, a user has no idea if the validator is indeed honest even if he was honest in the previous block. Second, a malicious entity can create an infinite amount of malicious nodes to create an illusion of the selected validator, to be honest. In the end, this consensus will inevitably lead to having a handful of trusted validators thus making this system controlled by them.

On the side note, your idea reminds me of how EOS (and it's deligated proof of stake) works. This is a step away from the trustless and decentralized system.

I also noticed a lot of outputs that are created are spent inside the same block (this is probably part of the attack logic). But i didn`t know this is possible (seeing those tx it clearly is). Can you confirm this?

Yes, it is possible to spend output in the same block it has been originated. This is actually quite normal.

Re: Looking for a partner in new Crypto Project
by
einax_oliver
on 11/09/2018, 06:00:19 UTC
Hello,

My name is Omar and I came up with idea of P2P education platform to try to connect investors with similar portfolios.  I hope for it to be a place where new investors can come in and get personal advice from experienced traders.

Our website is https://coingroup.network

I need a partner(s) in this to help with marketing and also growing the project to further heights.  I cannot do it alone.

If anyone would like to join, please email me at coingroup.network99@gmail.com or message me through here.

Thank you for any interest

If you are planning to do ERC-20 based token feel free to contact me in our telegram group https://t.me/einax_exchange, we will be glad to assist in everything related to the smart contract development and further listing (for free).
