Re: Stop giving your cheap btc to whales thanks to Wyckoff !

Great thread! I added it to my watchlist as soon as I found it (sadly, it was just a few days ago), and it's astonishing how accurate was the method here:

Price objective for the accumulation pattern highlighted in the first post in between 910 (for the most risk aversive) and 1044 (for the less risk aversive).

PS: this is just price objective regarding the accumulation pattern, and it should be carefully revisited as price fluctuate.

I've just bought a book about Wyckoff, and I really want to dig into it! However, I have a few questions; For instance, in the quoted message, you/he talked about the price objective; what is it exactly? I mean, what is it for? Is it a time for reversals? Or maybe new accumulation phases? Or you just have to wait until a new pattern is formed after that?

And what about the recent crash? How do you think it's going to evolve? (I'm more interested about the WHY than about the price direction itself;I really want to understand the market)

Finally, how does this relate to the "cup and handle" pattern we've been seeing and hearing about all these months? Is it compatible with Wyckoff method?

Nothing has changed since yesterday, nor the day before. All this panic happened just because of a conversation with TAT? Jeez, wait at least until we have official response to the round of questions! ...and now 500 shares dumped? I'm not sure if someone is tryining to manipulate people to buy cheaper, or it was just the worst trading operation ever. Don't forget that when someon sells, is because someone has bought  Tongue

It's true that we all were expecting dividends, but don't you realize that this reinvestment means an increase in stock and a bigger final revenue?
I've been here since IPO, and I have more than x20 my initial investment since then due to dividends and shares; FC has my confidence.

Its a good app; I downloaded it days ago, and you can sign a transaction and send it with just copying&pasting it on the blockchain push tx web. Its strange that Apple allowed this app to be on the store, maybe they didn't notice... I'm an iOS Apps developer, and I've been trying to get one app aproved for a month...just because it let you to save any playable video, and according to them, that potentially allows you to download copyrighted videos! So I doubt they changed their mind regarding Bitcoin.... But I hope so!

I sent sollico a couple of mails telling possible improvements and bugs I had found, let's see if they add it! Its a very well designed app.

so he just paid all income from batch 1 for producing batch 2, and all income from batch 2 will be used for producing batch 3 etc?

Yes, that is how I am guessing it will happen. If we guess batch 2 is 20PH being sold at $0.5/gh that would earn ~$10,000,000 which would be enough to purchase 50PH worth of wafers which could then be sold for $25,000,000.

Basically turning $4 million in to $25 million.

*Numbers are extremely approximate but I think it shows why reinvestment is a good idea.

I think the question is, have we entered in an infinite loop of reinvestments, or someday those gains will be paid as dividends?
What happened to those aggressive dividends?

People are asking if there is a way sales could be done in btc, you are asking this because you are new around here.  Sales historically were done in btc, and divs were then easy to do.  It is now however illegal to price or sell things for btc in China (or some form of that, China changes their stance on bitcoin every 3 seconds). It was as a result of this I believe that cause FC to take payment for chips in fiat, legal bullshit.

understood!  In my case, not new at all, I've been here since IPO, and I remember AM chips sold in BTC at early stages... but I had forgotten all that mess with chinese position regarding bitcoin... any guess of the AM roadmap now with sales and conversions to BTC? Undecided

The final US$ amount at "Owner's equity" means potential revenue of chips we have, or is it cash that can be converted and paid (as we all were expecting until this announcement)? Shouldn't we try to sell all that stuff in Bitcoins instead of US$ to avoid converting problems?

Dear BTC, I want you to rise, but not now... Embarrassed!

If they've pre sold all the chips, surely they should be upping production.....?

They doesn't pre-sold like other companies, they just book clients for months ahead. And they are selling finished product. Not promises.

About upping production. They are : 850 000 chips in April, 3 350 000 chips in May, 6 700 000 in June from 160 000 000 chips total of gen3. Meanwhile working on gen4.

And which was the price for 1 chip? I remember around $0.5 per Gh, having each chip ~12Gh, but I'm not sure at all. if I'm right with my maths, dividends in the upcoming months should be similar to the old golden days... Amazing.  Am I missing something?

So here's my question, sorry if it's dumb but, in regards to the privileged IPVO shares who receive all profits until .0035 is paid per share. Is that only if they were bought from the issuer or do all outstanding shares at this point have the privilege to receive all profits? In other words if someone bought shares from havelock they would still own privileged shares correct? And this would be the case until additional shares are offered correct?

I ask because I bought shares at the pre-ipvo, during the ipvo, and after the ipvo closed. Just a little confused

I asked the same a couple of pages before, and It seems that it will be paid to whoever has those shares at the time dividends are thrown; doesn't matter if they were bought on one site or another... they will get those divs. (but I'm not 100% sure)

Mining difficulty also jumped within the last day right?

The hash rate did jump, but it isn't because of Asicminer, because hash rate is calculated from blocks/s, and since the difficulty readjustment, Asicminer has not mined any blocks, therefore is not the one contributing to the hash rate calculation.

I think that what unlimited_power says is that now, with the difficulty readjustment, the boost we had could have become not enough to get a new block that soon; not that AM had contributed to that difficulty readjustment... So, if our 5 blocks found yesterday were due to an increase of hashing and not just good luck, the new difficulty could be avoiding us to get a new block yet. (I suppose we will se in a few hours)

Or maybe, it could be real hashing power that has been already taken offline, as someone points...

I just cant see how AM could've found those 5 blocks recently if they've had the same hashrate and considering a difficulty increase of about 400% during the last 90 days

That's my thought too; maybe the testing has already finished and they have taken off those new minners, but I really think that we had a considerable boost on mining for a couple of days...

Hey PETA Miners,

Sorry for the delay. This is the first Dividend payment by PETA on our site so we had to make sure all the settings were set right to make it easier in the future to pay you guys.

Dividends should be paid out within an hour.

And our site never has any issues, its the Bitcoin protocol fault (JK  Grin)

Havelock Investments

...Looking forward to getting that dividend!

I don't get this all noise about the first (this year) dividends. I think that they will pay it after the next payout from Eligius, which should be pretty soon...

Anyway, it won't be anything significant, probably some .0002-.0003 BTC/share at the maximum, and it's not going to tell anything about the potential of this project. And when we buying shares like this, it should be always about the long-term potential, not some quick profits.

But of course I still agree, that if they won't pay these dividends today at all, then the situation is slightly different, because they promised. Then it's about the trust, not about some coins.

Edit: just received, 0.00040211BTC/unit Smiley

Extrapolated out, that's a 40% annual yield on the IPO price of .05, and so far we've only deployed a small fraction of the hardware. This is great news!

Yeah, its grat! However, how is yield calculated on Havelock? It shows 4.8%

Is there any way to get notifications when AM solves a block?

I was thinking about that, someone throw up a website that sends me an SMS text when they solve a block!

Id rather someone make an app that alerts me when FC makes a new post.

It shouldn't be difficult, you just have to check this for new entries: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=49840;sa=showPosts (actually I think that some users already had something similar)

I'm wondering if it would work with IFTTT...
