Love the initiative by darxiaomi to be so democratic with the rules;

Regarding missed deadlines, instead of using handicaps, it might make more sense to introduce a progressive penalty system. For example, if someone misses a round, they would lose 10% of their total score for that round on the first offense, 20% on the second, and so on.

Another idea that could add a layer of strategy is the introduction of a “captain team” or “bonus team.” From all the teams a player selects in a given round, they could choose one to earn double points. Just like FPL.

Also, I think it would really improve the game if we were allowed to choose from all 20 teams in each league, instead of being limited to just five. That restriction often results in most players choosing the same obvious teams, which takes away some of the fun. Last season, teams ranked 8th, 9th or 10th many times scored 4 goals or more against lower ranked teams.

Just some suggestions to hopefully make the game even better.

I guess I am one of the few ones around here who did watch almost all the games, and even risking some sneak watching at work.

I am enjoying this cup, lots of surprises and controversy, so what's not to like? It's not at the Premier League level, but it's interesting getting to watch different clubs from around the world compete between each other, the concept is great and I hope it will continue for many more years, I think Brasil is preparing for a bid to organize it next, I would even go further and say that it should be organised every odd year.

I agree man, they had a disaster tournament, I am ashamed to be a Bostero right now but as any team, there will always be some ups and downs, I will continue to support them although it is obvious that some major changes need to happen, starting from Riquelme all the way to Cavani.
I think Boca needed to hit rock bottom (not getting a win against an amateur team in a must win game) for positive changes to start to happen. Just like a drug addict, It's time for rehab.

I just spent the last couple hours setting up my team, when I tried to save it, it says error, the deadline closed, but I had checked the deadline and was trying to save like half an hour before deadline, so I have no team saved, no players chosen, not sur what now! I cant play, I have no team fielded. Wasnt the deadline one hour before kick off???

Thrilled to take home the LMS trophy! It all came down to the final question, was way too nervous to not hedge bet against Chelsea, I played it safe to lock in some winnings. That said, I’m a bit gutted about missing out on promotion. It was a crazy battle at the top of Division 2 this season. Really feel for Darxiaomi, he led going into the final gameweek but just missed out. And a shame that dbshck didn’t submit his picks.

You are not making it easy for my team, I feel you have the advantage to take it, definitely will need some late heroics, first arsenal to win tomorrow so we could potentially at least salvage a draw, will also need to couple that with a Chelsea win to lock the match and subsequent promotion to Div 1, like I said you are putting up a great pride fight since the result won't affect your position on the table, but my team intends to go all out attack for the last 3 questions while keeping the defense tight to not concede, we are pumped and ready to get that Div. 1 promotion.

This is only my second season on BSFL, started last season in Div 3.

Regarding the situation with vd, does this mean that in LMS whoever gets at least 3 points will share the $500 freebet except the winner, since vd will finish with 0 points and will be considered as the player eliminated for lowest points?

We have a few different answers, 5 to be exact, I think it's going to be tight, I am crossing my fingers to come up on top as I need the 3 points to stand any chance of gaining promotion to the 1st division, I also need to get as many correct answers to be in a good position going into the last week of LMS, as it is quite tight there at the top. Really an exciting season of BSFL and looking forward to what will unfold.

I understand your frustration man, it happened to me as well many times, there must be some kind of logic for sure, I think it might have to do with total closeness on the season total, the lower number of closeness I guess the better, at least that's what it says on the superbru site, maybe it would be wise to shoot them an email and ask what kind of logic they use for determining the yellow cap in such cases.
Anyway not much left in the season, we still battling for that number 1 spot, I am really enjoying the competition between us, looking forward to the next round.
