There's a high chance you'll sell you coins before it hit's 2 million and end up like the early miners who mined thousands of coins but now have very few.

Don't they already do this with dollars?

Why would they need to complicate things with Bitcoin?

Correct, large corporations already have these mechanisms.

If anything, it makes it easier for small businesses to set up subsidiaries and transfer money when necessary.

It makes it cheaper, not more expensive, to execute these kind of schemes.

Re: [CHART] BTC Price bearish

I think the price busts out of the triangle pattern by the end of April. Many observers expect the next bubble to start in a few months, so I would be looking for signs of stability and a gentle rise beyond April given the similarity between the April 2013 bubble collapse and the current November 2013 bubble collapse.

From a technical perspective this makes sense but what has been the adoption rate lately?

Lets hope the $500 floor holds

Oh I hope I live to see the day the debt system is torn apart.

I sure hope not. Wishing for the demise of others who hold fiat isn't the way to go. Those who can't withdraw their money in Ukraine are the least wealthy in the nation. All the heads of state and business executives already have their money out of the Ukraine economy.

Kansas City Meetup- April 12
by

Join us April 12 at 7:00 PM to speak, learn, and meet fellow bitcoiners in the Kansas City Area.

We are working to start a consistent meetup in KC and would like you to come and talk about what you would want to get out of a meetup and what we can do to grow it.

My thoughts are to Meet at Snow & Company in the Crossroads District because other entrepreneur/ small business events happen there.
Any other suggestions are very much welcome.

Warren Buffet: "Stay away from Bitcoin"
by

"Buffett also said he would steer clear of bitcoin. Buffett said the cryptocurrency is an effective payment system, but “so is a check.” The idea that bitcoin has some “intrinsic value is just a joke.”

http://blogs.marketwatch.com/thetell/2014/03/14/warren-buffett-dont-dump-stocks-on-china-or-ukraine-and-stay-away-from-bitcoin/?mod=sfmw

Well... It's too late for some of us to stay away now.

Remember, this is the same guy that said to avoid investing in internet companies.

We're rescheduling the Kansas City Meetup to March 22 or 29 at the Beer Kitchen in Westport at 7pm.

Does this work for you? If not, which date/time works best?

It's more likely that he moved his btc to 5 different addresses. If this person sold, btc would have come out of one address over a period of time. Then the bitcoins he sold would be circulated to other individuals.

A 5 wallet split to diversify his holdings seems more likely.

Re: What should I buy?
by

Thanks for info! The one thing I cant stand though is the fact that I have to buy BTC first to get LTC, is anyone working on USD - LTC?

Couldn't agree more. It's rough having to buy Bitcoin and then transferring it to Btc-e to buy Ltc. Litecoin follows Bitcoin in price, so might as well buy Bitcoins.
