Another idea is to make sure that any potential Minerwarez/Caanan customer knows about this horseshit.
Creating multiple pages on social media such as Facebook, youtube, Reddit, Digg, etc. with a title 'Minerwarez/Caanan 741 scam' not only gets eyes on the page itself but ranks highly on the search engines when someone is searching for a company/product.
If you are willing to spend a little time/$, you can either use automated software or pay a decent SEO guy to do some 'blackhat' SEO for very little $.

I just got an email from minerwarez. they say the price is $2898 each.
so, I bought (2) A741 for $1600 total and they are 7.3TH x 2 = 14.6 TH.
Now I have to pay $2898 for one A821 that gives you only 11 TH.
WTF is this?? we shlould sue them for holding our money and use it.

I just got the same email and I am pissed. I paid them .39 BTC total for 3 units and they will not refund my .39 they will only give me todays exchange rate..
Now they want me to pay them another 6k to get the 821 units.. That is over triple the price I paid them for the original units yet not even double the hash power..
In my eyes MinerWarez is a fraud point blank!!!!!
I am going to tell them to refund my money and the next batch of miners I purchase will be 841s and directly from Canaan. Until the point that the 841 is released I will run what I have purchased from my unofficial vendor who in fact just got a shipment of 160 in yesterday.
For all those who feel the need to comment about the fact that I have purchased from an unofficial vendor save your breath and shove your comments.. Here is a photo of the units we picked up 10 days or so ago..
So, obviously, the clear intention is to offer 741 buyers such a shitty deal that only a moron would accept it, therefore, nearly everyone will take the refund - and Minerwarez walks away with a nice fat profit in the difference between BTC vs. USD. Essentially a guaranteed arbitrage profit.
So what we need to do is figure out how much money would be lost vs. hiring an attorney with a decent chance of winning a class action lawsuit.
That's really the only way justice would be served.
As for me, I'm willing to LOSE money to see justice done.

I am new because until recently I could buy an antminer but I have read and seen lots of pools in the last months, I stay until that block pop up.

Well, I guess it kind of depends on how much they're charging, but I was thinking at least 2, possibly 4.
The only thing is, if they're the AUC from Avalon, I believe the Avalon 6 needs a different AUC (AUC2) from the Avalon 7(AUC3).
But, if you do have those or know someone who does, I'm definitely interested in at least a couple.
Maybe more, but it depends on what I end up with, you know?

On at least one guide for Avalon 6, it listed several things besides the miner and PSU:
Ethernet cable
1 full size USB cable
1 mini USB cable
Raspberry Pi & SD card
AUC controller and the cord for AUC controller

The iPhone app accesses suddenly rose up about 20 times the number of web accesses, then it dropped back down again.
Seems ok again ... and I made a little change on the web server so hopefully the extra iPhone requests will have much less effect ... if any.
They also tried to ddos it doing 675 bad password checks from the IP 89.23.171.182 - but that has no effect on it ...

Thanks for this info. I was wondering if anyone else was running into this issue as I'm a pretty small-time miner myself. I'm hoping my recent upgrades will help, but I suspect it will be an ongoing issue...
