That isn't a phone number! That's just a bunch of random digits!

This is a phone number:

1-620-205-7289 (not me)

US != World

Although, the US is #1.

...in the international phone system. 1 is the country code for the US!

BEWARE OF CRYPTO BACKJACK

BIG FAIL AGAIN!

=> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=254482.0 (read entry #05)

I recommend op to take the link to Crypto Black Jack from this thread (at least until all bugs are fixed)

I think my response in around 30 minutes of your initial post is pretty damned good. Perhaps you should learn to exercise a little patience before essentially labelling the site a scam everywhere you can.  Roll Eyes

I am simply warning people. Read my last post on the thread linked.
Don't roll your eyes at me. It is not my fault that you start a gambling site without testing the withdrawal scripts!

Your quick response however is something to be praised!

Looking through the log files I have found reference to a fatal error with the payout script on CGB (and possibly other PoS coins) and it should now be resolved.

Short story: original buy-in was paid back (not the gains)

Long story:

What people (especially developers) need to understand, is that having a bug on an (informative) service site is inconvenient, to a shop or a selling/trading site it's an absolute no go, because it's about your customers' funds (meaning this is 10 times as bad as on a site which doesn't handle money). If it is a site which deals in Bitcoins (or any other crypto currency for that matter) it is 100 times as bad as with a site dealing in fiat. If it is a site where people can even loose their coins it is a thousandfold as bad as in the aforementioned cases.

After four years of theft, scams, cheating, lying, price manipulation, hardware failures, unaddressed software bugs and whatnot
ALL developers who decide to start dealing in anything Bitcoin (or other cryptos) have to take the burden of those past four years onto their shoulders and have to make damn sure, that anything they offer simply runs smoothly and put all their efforts into creating trust.

I am sorry that you had to get the full blow of my anger over a ridiculous stake of maybe 50 cents
BUT after being burnt so many times in all colors of the rainbow and any occasion imaginable
this simple truth had to be said - not only for your site but for anyone else's, too.

I hope you understand where I am coming from and that any future "service providers" in any crypto get it in their head that they have to test the hell out of their service before getting live with it.

The community cannot have any more failures may it even be the smallest!

BTW: There seem to be more bugs with CGB on your site

one minute: http://i.imgur.com/BeAdYbt.png

bigger: http://i.imgur.com/EYD0abK.png

next minute: http://i.imgur.com/4yOzHjW.png

The change from one to another "state" happened several times automatically (without me doing something)

If someone has reported an issue to me I have always been quick to fix it and made manual withdrawals where necessary. Looking through the log files I have found reference to a fatal error with the payout script on CGB (and possibly other PoS coins) and it should now be resolved.

Either tell me the CGB address you deposited to or your username on the site (if applicable) and your own CGB address I'll just send you a refund for the entire original deposit.

There's nothing dodgy in the game, in Blackjack the house has an edge because you have to go first so there's a good chance you'll be bust before the dealer has to do anything. That's just part of the game. If you can't handle that then you really shouldn't be gambling.

Hi,

I am trying to withdraw for at least half an hour now.
Every time I try to confirm the withdrawal the site goes blank and chrome shows me an error message.
Tried it also with safari - didn't work either.

Please help.

Side note: would be a good idea to include an email address or some way of contacting you other than this forum

Thanks!

EDIT:
While waiting for a response I was playing again. I started with 2.5 CGB. Played until I was at 4.107 CGB.
After not being able to withdraw I played again. And voilà like on every other CRYPTO SCAMSITE I lost every time.

So don't bother fixing the problem (which obviously isn't one at all but a nice strategy).
I am left with 0.058 CGB which you can keep as tip for once again proving that this whole thing is a major joke!!!

Mac OS X - QT wallet

Also we now have a Mac wallet courtesy of maxpower who has been spreading the Mac love recently in his [ANN] The Definitive List of Mac Altcoin Wallets thread. You can download this client here. One thing to note is that maxpower states that this client may not work on OS X prior to 10.7 Lion.

If you want to show your appreciation to maxpower, please consider sending a donation to his GameCoin address:

I think that the "only processor" currency is not good, because botnet owners will receive a lot of coins (and they will dump). At the same time, there is no botnet with a lot of graphics cards.
Best option: only the processors first time, but in month maximum -  appearance of GPU-mining.

That is a good point Fablio. essentially the main reason i decided to work with YAC over the more recent QRK. plus i really like the stake features of YAC, but i can't tell if they are just remnants of PPCOIN code(looks like it to me) or what the deal is with that. Everyone else, i will be answering your questions in due time. I must be on my way. Got a yard to mow and some data to review later. if every thing goes to plan i should switch from testnet over to mainnet this evening and release the coin. I plan on doing what kimoto did and making only the binary available initially... worked out good for MEC, don't see what it could hurt really. For simplicity sake, i will be providing 3 downloads:

- windows installer package( created with click team installer)
- example conf file
- zipped binaries for those who don't trust the installer package.

This is starting to suck really hard.

Two big errors.

1) Releasing binary only - Booo.... MAN we need to review the source!
2) No linux binary?  - Booo.... If so, then that would essentially be a windows premine.

I hope you reconsider and do the right thing.

3) NO MAC Wallet

Why do you think it is a fair start for EVERYONE if new coins either only has a Win wallet or a Linux wallet or both of them.
Take SPT for example they start with all three majors OS.

If I was able to create a coin you could be sure that I'd never start before being fully prepared.

(no whitepaper, no source analysis, no builds for all three OS, no website, list goes on and on)

Why do you even release. This will be another one of those coins which will shoot up for 72 hrs and then die.

Try this: yacoin-qt -gen=1 -genproclimit=1

Thanks for your reply!

I read op and I would like to know if wallet solo mining would also work with a mac wallet.

When I enter command line by op: yacoin-qt -gen -genproclimit=1

I get the following error: Method not found (code -32601)

same thing if i only enter command: -gen -genproclimit=1

If I enter the command: setgenerate true -1
generate turns from false to true BUT hashpersec stays at 0

help please!

Honestly, no one?
Really?

You don't want competition or you don't know the answer?

I always thought "our" people want all the "other people" to adopt, understand and use Bitcoin (and maybe other cryptocurrencies also).

If you know the answers - please take the time to answer them.
I am 100% sure there are lots of people who would like to know.

Thanks again for your time and your attention!

MODERATOR: please close this thread! people still post their address even though the giveaway is over since february.

Should opencoin decide to do another giveaway they can simply open a new thread.

Thanks!
