Re: The way to win in gambling

Gambling is a game of strategy and luck, however positive your mind can get if the you lack the two factors, it's hard to win and keep a positive mindset (especially when you're losing). Also, for me I don't recommend people to gamble, maybe for past time. But don't go gambling everyday as it can be very addictive and might find it hard to let go of the habit (of gambling).

Re: Implication of regulation and the securities status

There are concerns that regulating cryptocurrency is against the intention of crypto - being decentralized. However, change is really inevitable in everything, cryptocurrency is going mainstream for now and it's moving in economy so the government see the need of it being regulayed. I think it is better than being banned.

Re: Germany Approves Cryptocurrency As Legal Means Of Payment
by

This is a good news for the cryptocurrency users in Germany however this can be an indication of a country trying to regulate the cryptocurrency. But for me this is better than having it banned. Some countries are still not decided on hiw to deal with crypto but at least Germany already made a decision with it. That I think is in favor for German crypto users.

Re: Are You Afraid of KYC?

Personally I feel skeptical about it, giving of your personal info is very risky. Our details can be linked and easily use by anybody else especially its digital age, anything is just a click away. There should be a level of security between client and vendors where client can be at ease providing them the personal infos. For now, Im not comfortable with KYC. Hope that there will be better alternative to that or if not enhancement.

Re: Who controls the Bitcoin system?

Technically, the one who owns bitcoin are the users/holders itself. So there's no really single entity who can dictate the price of btc but the supply and demand. If one person holds great percentage of btc, he can affect the price in one single movement.

I don't think bitcoin will vanish / die next year. Bitcoin have a very strong maket base and a lot of people have been using it. For now the market is still prospering and continuing its growth so I don't think it will end by next year.

Re: Why is it so hard to earn merits??
by

The one to consider if a certain post is good enough for a merit is the one who will give awaybthe merit itself. We can say our post is good but not for others. However I agree that it's quite hard to gain merit, but that's how the new system goes and we can do nothing but just to go with it.

It's not necessary to have lot of coins, maybe you can choose to acquire some coins that are really profitable (personally i choose btc and eth). So you can be sure of return of investment, having lots of coins can lead to a greater risk of loosing more investment. So better be sure and be wise.

Re: is it possible to hack a bitcoin address?
by

Bitcoin address is a combination of alphanumeric that makes it hard to be hacked. However if you don't sexure it properly it would be possible, hackers are very aggressive right jow so it can be possible for them. With the tools they have for phishing it can really happen, that's why it's very important to secure and be vigilant with our wallet/accounts.

No one can really tell and predict at which value will btc land to. It's hard to give speculations but I hope it can recover sooner.
A person who holds a big portion of btc can really affect the market value in just a single movement of his funds. And we as the small holders just have to bear with it.

Re: Trade with alt ?
by

Some prefer alt coin trading because it's cheapr than bitcoin and can easily generate short term income. However it's not advisable for long term investment because the value's movement is very frequent and it has more chance of being dumped or can go down to zero.

Re: Does merit really helping the forum.

I think, yes the merit system is helping the forum. It eliminates spammers and encourage members to post and contribute useful information that can benefit and users can learn from. However, I think it's really hard to gain merits because a "constructive / quality" post is based  on one's own perception. So we should really work hard and research some more to obtain it.

Re: Not Yet Legal But Not Banned
by

Same applies here in my country, it's not yet legal and good thing it's not banned. However the central bank is starting to recognize businesses that is engaged in cryptocurrency, enforcing them to make their business known for it. I think years from now, central bank will implement legalities when it comes to cryptocurrency as it is going mainstream.
