Which team will win today? Looks like KKR is favourite but my heart goes out to SRH as another big partnership by Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma will be enough to destroy KKR.

@jasonjm it has been 16 years now and RCB is still not near the cup although they have some of the best batters in the world. This year Glen Maxwell has only scored 52 runs in the tournament. I don't think he should be retained any further as when RCB needs him he is out of form. The RCB management is clueless and doesn't have the right local talent they need. Most players in RCB except a few are only playing for the money and not for the team.

Interesting match today as SRH takes on RR. If SRH opening pair bats well then they will win without any doubt if not then RR are going into the finals. RR spin attack has been quite effective and if they win the toss then I feel they will bowl first. This is the second chance that SRH is getting to be in the finals of this season.

KKR fan would now be demoralised as SRK has been hospitalized after heat stroke. KKR and Sheryas PR both promoting sentimental stories to do what? Is this a way to boost revenue of a franchise or there is something hidden behind all of these stories. I don't have any proof but Shreyas Iyer PR are now saying he is the best captain and batter in this IPL. Those who are following this season know how ineffective this guy was as a captain and as a batter.

Yeah I forgot that most English players have left for the preparation of World Cup. Still KKR were able to win the game and at last thier big investment on Mitchell Starc paid off. He got the opening pair who were the reason why SRH was able to comfortably win matches. What do you think about this prediction?

CSK took the game not that serious and that is the reason they lost. They were decimated by RCB bowlers and that is true as their top batting order was gone so fast. CSK might have won 5 times but as the viral videos shows MSD left the stadium without shaking hands with RCB team gives a hint that this year was his last. He is not fit and is playing for the sake of his fans as for them he is their saviour.

Today we have the first playoffs game between SRH and KKR. Abhishek Sharma is in good form, he can be a pain for KKR bowlers. I think that SRH has the upper edge to win today but KKR can be lethal if Salt and Sunil can bat agressively. Both team look good but bowling wise SRH is better than KKR.

I saw CSK getting decimated by RCB which is a rare event in the history of IPL. The loss by CSK was so bad that MSD left the stadium without shaking hands with RCB player. If that kind of gesture would have been done by Virat Kohli then the media houses would have picked it up and made it a big issue. The reason being Kohli still rules cricket and every news about him get them a lot of views. This is a magical moment for every RCB fans as they would have never imagined them crushing the 5 times winning team of IPL. I felt that MSD might was playing his last IPL game yesterday and his dream of reaching the finals got shattered by a low life RCB.

Bad Luck for Gujrat Titans back to back matches getting abandoned. They never got a chance to get back to the fight to qualify for the playoffs. Looks like BCCI is not interested in getting back Rahul Dravid as the chief coach. They are now considering Steven Fleming to for that position. Again they are now planning to hire an international coach whereas there are plenty of legendary cricketers of India who can take that responsibility. I don't understand the fixation of boards in getting international caoch in the subcontinent. Why can't they ask those players who have made name for their country.

I have read that all England players are heading back home to prepare before the World Cup. I don't think Jack leaving RCB will make a big difference as CSK is facing the same problem with international players.

GT for the first time failed to qualify for the playoffs. I doubt he will be retained as a captain next year, he is again out of form and hasn't been consistent. If they had played well earlier then they wouldn't have to be so desperate for yesterday. If the match hadn't been abandoned yet if GT had lost them Gill would have been in more trouble.
