The claim feature on the website is saying that valid signatures are invalid.  I'm supposed to sign my BitcoinPro receiving address with my BTC address.  When I do I get a verified signature, but that signature is not accepted by the website entry form.  Am I doing something wrong?

I am having the exact same issue with my Electrum-XVG 2.4 Wallet.  It acts as though it is coming online, then fails and goes offline, and then repeats the behavior.  I've tried having it encrypted or unencrypted and it makes no difference.  I'm wondering if there is a list of servers we can choose from to connect to?  I just have it set to "automatic".

In the larger scheme, even if it falls back temporarily to the 30's or 40's, it is still a worthwhile store of value medium and long term to buy at this "pump" price.  If someone is shitting themselves at the drop of a hat then don't buy, but if someone has a deeper outlook there is nothing to worry about.  If it falls just hold.

What is important is the substance behind this coin, which is has plenty of.  Freaking out because it doesn't go to the moon in a week or two is a symptom of the altcoin landscape and internet attention span syndrome.  Doge spiked and then fell way down for awhile...lower than Kitteh is now...before it ranked back up to its relatively stable point today.  Hell, Bitcoin had barely any value for years. 

What you need to determine is whether you feel the value and quality of the coin is worthwhile, personally, not speculatively.  If so then hold and continue to invest.

I'm in the same boat as you in terms of diminished investment value, FOR NOW; however, in the real scheme of things it will not be too long before all the pieces have come together and the engine begins to purrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Hold and you won't be sorry.  Sell and you'll kick yourself not only for selling at a loss but for missing out on its upswing.

I'm staying in Kitteh long term.  I might cash out a little bit on the upswing but my main holdings I plan to use toward commerce, charity, and longer term stores of value.  I know I won't be disappointed, this is an awesome coin.  I have not ever so far, dealing in cryptos, come out with less than what I invested, and I'll tell you I have am investing A LOT in Kitteh.

Don't be short sighted--that kind of mentality is precisely what leads to Maxcoin fiascos, and it doesn't help the general cryptocurrency emergence anyway.

Go do something useful and come back in a couple weeks or even months--read a book, exercise, attend something you've been putting off.  Kitteh is fine and not going anywhere.

This Maxcoin bs will blow over.  The dev team for Kitteh is doing everything right, the environment has just been a little shaky.  I felt that cryptsy's less than enthusiastic introduction...i.e. no tweets at launch, was unprofessional, for example.  The greed rush of Maxcoin, and its deplorable launch, are all telling of the nature of that movement---its ficklness, and its failure.  Kitteh has a good foundation, both morally and in terms of sheer dedication and inspiration coming from the devs.

When the smoke clears, Kitteh will be still standing, blowing the smoke off of its gun.

The Crypto market is really more like surfing.  You have to move with it, and can't set hard and fast expectations.  I'm not worried in the slightest about Kitteh.  Good active communities and an intention beyond simple profitability are what will see this currency through.  I know that Kitteh is worth at least as much as Doge, and I don't intend to sell out any time soon.  The two currencies can in fact amplify one another through constructive mimetic competition.

I was with Doge when it first began, and sure it spiked initially on Cryptsy, but it tanked for what seemed a very VERY long time down near 0.00000027 after having been up above 0.0000033.  Media attention is what brought it back to its more substantial and generally stable levels, and the same will follow with Kitteh.  Social and cultural saturation are powerful forces and those are what this coin hopes to operate from.

If you only intend to dump the coin, do it now and let the truly committed and passionate community members raise Kitteh up to its proper standards.  The reality is that if all you are interested in is personal profit, with no other regard for the movement at large, then you only hurt what is a unique modern frontier.  You become no different fundamentally than the decadent members of world banking cartels and Wallstreet. And, i believe, you actually reduce your own long term outlook.

Also don't forget, Bitcoin is quickly becoming established in world economics.  All this has only barely launched!!!  It will not be long before you can use BTC for all those services and products you otherwise might use credit/debit for.  As that saturation occurs, the value will increase, and so will the Btc relative alts.  So here's an idea, start replacing fiat purchases with btc purchases.  Use Overstock.com and others who offer such payment systems--reward them and encourage the mainstream market; prove that these cryptos, while being initially volatile, CAN and will be used as true currencies as well as stores of value.  

Sitting around staring moment to moment on trading values in fretting anxious anticipation is a road to nowhere; just as there are small waves within larger ones it is ok to take an expanded approach, and not merely jump at every shadow.  

Anyway, be patient, be active, be measured, and have fun with it!!!

I just want to note, btw, that I am very impressed by the relaunch Dev team.  Good work, love your intention, and I'm excited about the future.  Thanks for putting so much personal effort into this.
