The  new  version  is  finally  ready.  You  can  download  PhoenixMiner  5.8c  from  here:

PhoenixMiner_5.8c_Windows.zip Github
PhoenixMiner_5.8c_Linux.tar.gz Github

Changes in version 5.8c :
  • Full LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Added lock core clock
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RTX 3060/3080/3090 cards
  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will
provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 600 (i.e. until about Sep 2023)
  • Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. Note that with these cards under Linux you need to specify relative core voltage: e.g. -
cclock -50 will set the core voltage to be 50 mV under the default value
  • Added ROCr kernels for Vega, Radeon VII and Navi cards. With these kernels you will be able to run these cards with Linux drivers 20.45 and later but the performance will
be lower than with the older PAL drivers and kernels. We recommend using AMD Linux driver 20.30 for all cards except RX6900/6800/6700
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux (there is no need to run these cards with -clkernel 0 anymore)
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers up to 21.8.1. Note that Radeon VII cards will not work with drivers 21.6.1 or higher - you need to use older drivers for proper
    operation of these cards
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers up to 21.20 (use older drivers for Vega or Radeon VII cards as they will not work with 21.20). Note that the latest 21.30 drivers are
not supported (and the initial testing shows that even the older Polars cards are not working properly with them, so avoid 21.30 for now)
  • Numerous other fixes and small improvements

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.8c

Are you using the image just for Nvidia cards?
Yeah, i use link for NV Series on homepage

not sure if P106-100 mining cards is supported already by the usb image.

No the current image does not support we need to install nvidia 384.4 beta driver for the p106-100 to work still figuring out a way to install the new driver in simple mining os

Hey all

Can some one explain the shift and what they mean

I am confused with the reward and rewarded

...

Sorry if this is redundant fairly new to Kano pool . just trying to understand the system .
As the payouts page explains, each share you send to the pool is expected, on average, to be rewarded 5 times, each of those 5 times, approx 1/5 of it's expected value.

"Rewards" is how many times, each share you submitted in that shift, actually has been rewarded.
Shares above the red line may be rewarded again.

"Rewarded" is, as the red * says at the bottom Smiley the actual amount each 1000Diff share has been rewarded in satoshis.
So if you submitted 10,000,000 Diff of shares during "8esb2 kosaki" those shares will have been rewarded, in total so far, "Rewarded" times 10,000 satoshis.

That page is actually how you are rewarded, all other explanations are derived from that.

Thanks kano your the best Smiley

Hey all

I wanted to know why my payout is very low i even bought a 800Ths rig for mining  . now i lost the some bits. can some explain the calculation .

Block   Block UTC   Miner Reward   N Diff   N Range   Pool N Avg   Your %   Your N Diff   Your N Avg   Your BTC
467976   24/May 23:43   15.12386617   3.001T   51hr 13m 9s   69.90PHs   0.07%   2.251G   52.42THs   0.01134201

This is my log .from payments  .And rental rig was running for 3-4 hrs . I am new to this pool just want understand the calculation.
You get decreasing rewards in the blocks found for 5ND (currently about 2 days) after you stop mining.

However, since you are short term mining, you are going to be extremely affected by the pool luck.
e.g. if you look at the Pool->Luck graph you will see that luck goes up and down - which is what all bitcoin block finding does.

Here, if you mine for a short while during a low luck period you will get paid badly.
If you mine for a short while during a high luck period, you will get paid well.
Basically short term mining is gambling on the luck.
It can go up, down, or even be in the middle, but short term mining has much higher variance, i.e. is greatly affected by pool luck.

Thanks for the reply Kano . I was just testing i am having one s9 i have put on the pool . Hope i will make a the bits back . I will be expanding soon once i get my other s9 delivered .
