I am still in the original discord since Day 1, why isn't your core developer in there anymore? And yes I dumped this after ellaismer left. Lost a lot doing that too, but when the main dev leaves, what would anyone think is going on? Up until that point I thought this was going somewhere.
Well many projects out there where abandoned by the lead dev and other devs took over the project and continued developing it, this is also the ELLA case, so is not a big deal. I remember dev said is a well known developer of a top coin out there and maybe this is the reason he left. Who knows...This is not true. Lead dev, ellaismer, is as active as usual. It's just part of community devs lives ELLA for their own project.

Our beta version of multi-geth is out. This is a go-ethereum full node distribution that can connect to multiple Ethereum-like networks. Currently we support Ethereum and Ellaism, and Ethereum Classic support is in the works. If you're using go-ethereum right now, this multi-geth can also act as a drop-in replacement, and we aim to follow closely for all upstream changes.
To get on Ethereum network, run `geth`.
To get on Ellaism network, run `geth --ellaism`.

Hello, when will the standard win10 / linux wallet be made? i forgot the name but the wallet that runs on chrome has to re download the blockchain everytime you open it.
it also open itself at random times and lag my rig when i never opened it. so i just uninstalled it.

Parity still remains our best Windows wallet up to today. If you have trouble using it, try out the passive syncing mode, which won't consume too many resources once it's synced.

Don't blame Crytopia, blame Ellaism! I'm missing a transaction also. There isn't enough basic support for the network. I didn't do my homework before I started mining this coin. Now I'm finding out how bad Ellaism is.
There are very few nodes on this planet.
There is no Windows desktop wallet. You can't run a node from the wallet.
There is no Linux wallet. You cannot run a node from the wallet.
There is no (working) Discord channel. (Bad link) You can't speak to them.
There is no Slack channel. You can't speak to them.
The Telegram takes you to a blank page.
There is no link to click to complain on their website.
The message board @board.ellaism.io has "Zero" messages in the Discussion section.
An average user cannot support the network.
This is an overall BAD coin.

On ellaism.org website, you can find links about how to run Windows/Linux desktop wallet and how to start an Ellaism full node. There're also links to Discord channel.
Most people in Ellaism use Discord. So the board and telegram chat might appear to be empty. You can choose to come to a right place if you want. We do have a Slack channel in the very beginning of the coin, but due to spam concerns, we used Discord instead.
I understand this is not a coin for everyone. Good luck and hope you enjoyed dealing with cryptocurrencies so far!

You select the "Custom RPC" network in the network dropdown, and you're on Ellaism blockchain. Ella is not a token, so contract address and decimals do not apply here.

As far as I know, this is the same system of ethereum, can make token smart contract with ELLAISM. Am I right?

We don't have whitepaper. Refer to the Yellow Paper (http://gavwood.com/paper.pdf) if you're looking for technical details. You may also find the roadmap here (https://ellaism.org/roadmap/).
The block reward is 5 ELLA per block.

Mining a block has reward of 5 ELLA. We don't have the concept of masternode (yet).

Here's a very simple DApp running on the ella blockchain, this is a proof of concept and everyone can participate and interact with it. I haven't had time to code the html so it can be hosted anywhere (true decentralization), but in the meantime it's an up and running smart contract.

It essentially returns 12% of the amount you send whenever someone after you deposits. I know a project like this isn't the most appealing but I just wanted to get a proof of concept running on the ella blockchain, please don't bash me. However, the contract is completely decentralized and I have absolutely no access to the ella deposited into the contract's address.
Fee is 1% paid to the operator's address. If you want to interact with the contract simply send any amount of ella between 0.001 and 1. Any amount above 1 ella and below 0.001 ella will be counted as donation. I will repeat again, this is a proof of concept I don't even have a website coded yet, but I might code one if demand is in place.
Please only use amounts you can afford to spend, if anything goes wrong or a bug ensues somewhere direct it to me here, same applies for questions.
Contract will be posted if it is requested since contract verification is not yet implemented into the ella explorer.
