Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam?

There are many ICOs out there rn with the only intention is to make money off of people who failed to research about them.

Of course there are some which keeps true to what they believe in like MegaX where they want to reduce the gap between brick-and-mortar companies and online retailers by creating a marketplace whereby cryptocurrencies are accepted as payment.

Re: Till date, why is there no crypto that is near Bitcoin's worth?

I think its how established bitcoin has been as a brand. Since it is the oldest crpto out there many people have trust in its use and structure unlike new ICOs whereby some of them might be a scam.

The past has proven that vitalik is a crucial part in ethereums success. When the rumours came the first time around the prices crashed super badly. Hence, I think ethereum will fall if he dies.

I feel the way crypto will get pushed back to its glory days is when the world decides that crypto is going to be used as the reserve funds until then I dont see hopes of it shooting again

Re: My Future in Crypto

Cash flow is the most important here. Crypto simply doesnt have the amount of cash flow needed as it is too volatile. Not only that, the risk which carries from crypto is a make it or break it scenario which I feel isnt worth it.

Start with what youre willing to lose. As much as it is everyones dream to earn millions of dollars simply by staying at the comfort of their own homes, it is also possible to lose everything you put into the investments. So while you want to get rich, dont leave the chance for you to get bankrupt as well.

Re: Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet?

If youre using an online wallet, always make sure its a reputable wallet. Some online wallets may take your information like your private keys or have weak security systems that allow hackers to gain access easily. If you wanna not risk any of your coins being stolen, the best place would be an offline wallet with extra security features like a confirmation button.

Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable?

Sure it is. As long as you do a thorough check about the project and they don't disappear on you the next day it would be profitable.

It is a very good way to get funds for your project without the need of giving up any stake in your company. Furthermore, people assume it's an easy way to get rich with the cryptocurrency hype without actually thinking through what their project is. I have seen some projects which main use is to be a shared ledger and we all know that's the bare basics of being a blockchain.

The crypto market for me is for people who really are willing to take a huge leap of faith into something that might just crash the next day

It solves double spending, it is decentralized so control of your assets are completely your responsibility and not needing to pay for the transfer fees.

I feel crypto is a very dangerous territory at the moment but the blockchain technology that is behind crypto seems very promising.

Exchange a percentage of your altcoins into both btc and dollars. Just in case btc prices drop at least you still have something which does depreciate in value

Not to put you down but with the market just going stable, I dont think youre going to earn a lot of money solely based on crypto. Its wise if you still continue doing a full-time job and a part-time investor.

by

I would change 2/3s of the tokens into fiat currency and hodl the rest as there is always a chance for the prices to rise.

Re: Fear of ethereum
by

I do not see a reason to fear ethereum. Its core product still stands as a way of implementing smart contracts. The public will soon realise its worth as it takes out the use of a third-party which will in turn reduce costs for them.
