Elphyrecoin (v2) est né fin février 2019. C'est un fork de Turtlecoin avec un POW Cryptonight Turtle.
L'idée derrière Elphyrecoin est de proposer à la communauté Opensource un moyen simple, gratuit et performant de paiement... mais aussi un coin avec une valeur ajoutée à deux niveaux :
- solidaire et sociale : on peu échanger des services, faire des micropaiements, "rémunérer" un développeur, etc. en ELPH (soit on s'en procure avec des euros, soit on les mine soit-même...)
- économique : comme le fameux Bitcoin, le ELPH possède une valeur économique sur les places de marché (Echange). On peut donc acheter ou vendre des ELPH en Euros ou Dollars, les garder pour les revendre plus tard (spéculation), etc.
Je suis un utilisateur Opensource et libriste depuis 20 ans, linuxien aussi (Mes projets : https://www.freetorrent.fr / https://www.citizenz.info). Et j'avais envie de proposer une cryptomonnaie qui ressemble au Libre, qui s'identifie au Libre.
L'équipe de bénévole est actuellement composée de 4 passionnés tous issus de l'opensource et de ses milieux (3 FR et un US). On essaie de réfléchir à divers solutions pour permettre à tous d'utiliser Elphyrecoin dans les meilleurs conditions, sur le web notamment.

Elphyrecoin : c'est quoi ?
Elphyrecoin est une cryptomonnaie de type cryptonote (CN Turtle) qui vise à aider la communauté opensource, fournissant un moyen humble mais concret de paiement, micropaiements, d'achat, de don, etc.
Elphyrecoin est une sorte de nouvelle valeur numérique (ou électronique) présentant toutes les caractéristiques d'une "monnaie libre" mais basée sur la blockchain et échangeable sur les places de marché (Exchanges).
Vous voulez acheter un service fournit par un développeur Web ou vendre un service Web ? Vous voulez simplement faire un don à une association, un particulier ? Elphyrecoin est là pour ça.
Vous pouvez également vendre des ELPH pour des Euros ur les places de marché...
Vous pouvez donc utiliser Elphyrecoin avec deux objectifs différents:
- solidarité (commerce de services, dons)
