Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell?
by

on 12/10/2017, 02:26:52 UTC
I'm new to Bitcoin. Haven't bought yet. Almost did around the holidays and was glad I didn't when I saw it crash. Now I wish I had bought when it crashed or even before the crash. I'm really bad with money historically, but now find myself with a handsome 5 year old nephew to think of. I like the strategy / link you posted. I'm probably gonna go that route. Thanks for that.

Re: what is altcoin airdrop ?
by

on 12/10/2017, 01:36:53 UTC
Any of airdrop that is targeted towards a local population is going to be difficult and costly to pull off because there is no way to easily verify people's identity. In my opinion, the creator of these coins are using "airdrops" to build up hype and don't really have any practical way of handling the airdrop.

Re: How can we save Bitcoin from quantum computing?
by

How do you think we can protect bitcoin from such an attack?
Bitcoin mining, which is an "attack" against symmetric crypto, might never be dominated by quantum miners, Since traditional miners could very well always be faster and cheaper. For symmetric cryptography, quantum attacks exist, but are less dangerous.

Re: 5 crypto currencies to invest in 2018

The question is, which cryptocurrency should you invest in by 2018?
Will there be another coin that peaks as much as Bitcoin?
Will we miss the opportunity yet again?

Re: Why do you invest in ICOs?
by
emiedj01
on 11/10/2017, 04:56:01 UTC
Well, I won't comment on specific ICOs as saying they are good, bad, promising, scams or anything like that, but I will share my vision.

What do investors think to get in return?

To start, I think the answer to that question is pretty straight forward. I believe that even people that want to support the blockchain projects and community wouldn't invest just to help the people behind the ICO, everyone is expecting finantial returns. What do I think investors think to get in return? Money.

This happens because before this ICO madness began it was something less accessible and more risky to common investors (as it still is, but now more people are interested). One year ago a promising ICO would have raised around 5 million dollars and be considered succesful, and then as the company starts to show progress in their project development more people want to invest in them (through exchanges, after ICO period) and them its market value increases a lot, and people that participated on the ICO get higher profits.

Quote
But what if those coins do not get back the initial worth?

You should invest in an ICO if you think the project's value proposition is good, if it makes sense to be in the blockchain and if you trust the team can deliver what they are promising. If this is the case, price volatility is a common thing in crypto currencies and you should keep yourself updated about the project you invested in and see if their business is growing. Finantial returns should come naturally if you believe in the technology potential and in the specific application the ICO is proposing.
ICOs, also known as crowd sales, are a new way of financing for startups in the block chain space that involves issuing a new digital currency or token to early backers of the project in exchange for bitcoin, fiat currency or other established digital currencies.

Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
If you loss any money it's a mistake you made yourself. I've read some of this reviews on here people making IQ option sound bad.If you don't trust them yet then facebook me personally i don't work for them or anything.

Re: Do small investments make sense?

For me having an small investment still make sense, especially in gambling. We all know gambling is very risky to play, so the better thing that we can do for us to not lose a lot of money is to just use small amounts and not to bet in high bet so that we will not regret if we lose it all.

Can bitcoin be the world's currency?
For me, I think it is still better if we still have our own currencies and bitcoin will still just bitcoin, for now, bitcoin is great on its how it grows and maybe making bitcoin as our world currencies is not that easy. We need to adjust if that's happen, people who don’t know bitcoin at all will have a difficulty to use it. I think bitcoin is just good how bitcoin works as of today.

Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin.
by

Cash is better than bitcoin because we can use cash anywhere we wanted. But for me, that is just the advantage of cash. Bitcoin can increase it's value which we can also earn if we wait for it to increase. I think for me Cash and Bitcoin has its own potential.
