Because he let the default value when copying yescript.conf for the stratum.

I hope my previous post helped you setting up yescryptr16. I spent 4 days trying to make it work  Grin

Nice to see another pool. As promised, I will now reduce the pool fees.

Happy mining everyone !

I'm sticking with your pool (great work)
Thank you for reduced fees!

you finished crying ?

Well, the story is : I'am too fast to add cool currency, and was thinking it is "yescrypt" at first.

The source of yiimp pool has no yescryptR16 by default, and I needed to add it... thats not an easy task.

For the japan words... do u have something against asian ppl ?

i was defending you sorry got a little heated. congrats on your first block #7419

Yes... I saw that, i worked 28hrs on the pool and I am really tired.

Well, all work fine, the code look "clean" (not fast at all.. but clean)

Let me know on any error.

Have fun mining for FREE at our pool.

hi naskel, thank you for your pool.
Can you tell why diff = 2, while Nillecram's pool diff = 1?

Thank you

How do I pool mine? Huh

Could some one guide me please.

Go to https://github.com/conan-equal-newone/yenten/releases, and download mining software (e.g. yenten_win64_1.1.0.zip, but it depends from your configuration, i assume you'r on Win 10 64 bit).

Once downloaded and unpacked, you could execute minerd.exe like the following:

minerd.exe -a yescryptr16 -t 3 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bilbotel.fr:6234 -u YOUR_ADDRESS -p c=YTN

The command above (in which you must replace YOUR_ADDRESS with your yenten wallet address) means we launch minerd.exe with yescriptr16 algorithm (the one used by YenTen), three threads (-t 3, but you can adjust this parameter as needed), on pool.bilbotel.fr, port 6234 (Nillecram's pool). In the password field, using that pool, we must specify the type of coin we'll mine (-p c=YTN).

That's it. After a little, when shares start to be submitted to pool, you could check your results at http://pool.bilbotel.fr/?address=YOUR_ADDRESS (once again, substitute YOUR_ADDRESS with your Yenten wallet address). As you gain a balance in the pool, every couple of hours a payment will take place, and you'll see the due YTN coming to your wallet

hi. Does anyone have the same problem on bibotel pool?
I get this:

[2017-11-05 23:31:33] Stratum difficulty set to 1
[2017-11-05 23:32:03] stratum_recv_line failed
[2017-11-05 23:32:03] Stratum connection interrupted

I use cpuminer-opt on Ubuntu Vps.
How I start to mine solo? Please some small tutorial?! Thanks

I've the same issue, but shares keep going, and i'm receiving payments.

However, if you wish to solo mine, you can use yenten-qt. Start your wallet, then go to Help » Debug Console
Type setgenerate true, and you're mining solo.
You can also specify the number of threads to use: let's suppose you want to dedicate three threads for mining, you can type setgenerate true 3

To stop mining, type setgenerate false

To retrieve informations about the current mining process, type getmininginfo

No premine is really interesting. Following your project  Wink

Honestly, I don't see how "no premine" is great... So, dev create the coin for free, list to exchanger and pay the fee for all miners? Then I will see no future of the coin... I don't mean Yenten here, but I hope dev have some methods to earn the coins, or else who want to develop a coin for others...

I don't think that you understand how decentralized cryptocurrency works.  As soon as you release it, you no longer have control over it. You can't just develop it unless you maintain over a 51% stake so you can fork it at will.  As soon as it is released it is out of your hands.  Anyone with a premine is a fraud as they can't guarantee any development besides superficial things like marketing and wallets, which anyone can make and people can have bounties.  What is much more likely for a premine is they just want to pump and dump the coin and make tons of money.  No premine shows that the person is doing it for the people.

If you want a centralized coin that is controlled by the company that makes it and they distribute the coins how they see fit, then that is a whole separate thing.  It is called a centralized digital currency.

Great explanation. Too much coins were born with the sole purpose of being dumped. To me (and i'm not alone), no premine is good.

I think something went wrong...

I dont think the ",stats" part is correct, poll asks only for c=YTN.
Apart from this, i receive the same message, but my h/s as reported by bilbotel.fr is pretty high, and i'm receiving YTN.

I'll love to mine it, use it, etc.
My only doubt is about the possibilities such a coin will reach exchanges...oh, mining it anyway  Grin
