Found this interesting chart posted in another thread. Lately there's been lots of awesome blockchain projects coming out looking to solve scalability and cross chain compatibilities. Thoughts on this chart??
Edit: I can't upload the freaking chart, so go to the link below
A pretty complete comparison table. Really thank you for your article. Looking at this table, I can clearly see the advantages and disadvantages of these currencies. Please post more articles.
This surprised me, what is the value of the blockchain water purifier? Is such a water purifier a producer of pure water? Maybe this is the flow of water to generate profits? Haha, this is a really interesting point!
LOL I was thinking the exact same thing. Although this is very fascinating. It always seems like chinese projects are making such huge strides for blockchain and iot. this is what the article says:
"Depending on how long and how frequently consumers use the product, they will earn a blockchain token called PWMC, which they can then redeem for replacement filters, or to purchase other goods.
This rewards system will provide an incentive for usage thats lacking in other IoT products, Xiao said, while at the same time make blockchain relatable for the average person who doesnt spend all day trading cryptocurrency."
So I guess it's based on how often you use the filter and then you can redeem your tokens earned for new filters....very interesting

I honestly think we need to re-classify stablecoins. there's so many of them and they're all different from each other.

Re: [ANN] Moac | A Revolutionary Blockchain Architecture (ICO June 20 - July 5)
Has anyone looked into ampleforth? Considered a "stablecoin" but really called a low volatility cryptocurrency. Backed by Pantera, True Ventures, and FBG Capital. Team is from Google and Uber.
I think what we need to do is differentiate between fiat coins and stablecoins. Even then that leaves such a broad term imo. Where does ampleforth fall into this equation?

I thought this was a great post about how we should approach the current bear market and beyond:
For me, patience is a big thing. It's easy to forget that crypto is still so young and I've still doubled if not tripled my investment

So much has changed since you posted this. It is fun to read old threads where members thought that 3000 or 5000 per coin is a lot.

Some are genuinely concerned about the risk while others are seeing their own interests.

I am waiting for the market to recover. Will cash out some of the coins and leave the rest untouched for 4-5 years.

Both have got their own limitations. Biggest problem with stocks is that there are so many of them that it makes selecting very difficult.

The growth of bitcoins from few cents per coin to $20000 per coins itself speak of its value.

Other coins can give better returns but:
1) You also get a lot of safety with bitcoins as it is very much stable.
2) Most of coins just follow the price movement of bitcoins.

There are risks involved but you can reduce the risks by taking some precautions. For instance, you should invest only in top 10-20 coins based on coin market cap which are less volatile .

India can have big impact. Currently, the number of people involved from there is less as government has still not made its stand clear on crypto there.

He has spoken in favor also sometimes. I do not think that he has done much research about this as he already has a lot of work to handle.
