Thankyou for all your work and efforts over the years and contacting me and replying back to my messages going back at least a decade I think it was.
The need for efficiency and development in energy world wide certainly isnt going to go away even if we ignore it so I believe one path or another has to succeed in addressing the melting of the ice caps and global climate change, its bigger then all the stories in the news potentially just not as well spoken for.
We've had some illness in family where Iam requiring alot of attention but I hope I can get more organized and back to staking some and a better interest. Im still excited for all the technology development possible and wish you best on every venture you are involved with

I thought at the end of 2022 that 2023 was the final year of my time contribution to EnergyCoin development.
In April 2023 Han van Dobben contacted me for a huge project he wanted to start and asked for me to help integrate a blockchain ecosystem that keeps value in the system.
That is a kind of contradiction because developers of almost all currencies make big promises but the value can easily disappear.
That is the reason Bitcoin is a big winner but BTC is not the best solution the make the world a better place.
It was a very hard time for me to be the community leader (figure) of EnergyCoin, the responsibility I felt was too big and I went into burnout at the end of 2018.
In the years after 2018 I did my work and tried some small projects with EnergyCoin and StakeCoin, the idea to connect the two coins was rejected by the team at that time, and was going my own way.
Now I have a vision that can keep value in a coin ecosystem and EnergyCoin + Stakecoin can be part of that ecosystem and profit from future value increases.
Dumping your coins is not profitable, only keep them staking and get rewarded for the stake, that is what I have in mind for ENRG/STK.
How it works out in detail we have to write down and attract investors outside our communities.
I wish all the holders of ENRG/STK a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The next year is the year of Resurrection for this new combined coin ecosystem.

We are near the intention of cooperation with a project.
What I can say is that Stakecoin and EnergyCoin will be linked.
We have fount an excange for two pairs STK-BTC and ENRG-STK.
If you want to sell ENRG you first have to buy STK and then sell the STK.
That is to prevent mass sell of ENRG and keek the value in the ecosystem.
Stakecoin acts as a kind of share in the new venture.
But als play with thin clients on Ubutu-core18

Copy the wallet to the blockchain folder and start energycoin deamon:

I greatly appreciate your effort, your token's condition is very depressing. Even I am unaware of the exchanges where your coin is traded, Coinmarketcap's data is outdated. Additionally, it's been a very long time since you last posted on your Twitter account.
You are right on all points, there is no exchange and the EnergyCoinfnd twitter has no news to tell yet.
But I can tell we work on someting great and we hope we can share this soon.
Someting about water-business, EnergyCoin and Stakecoin.

We have a serious talk with the party that wants to cooperate with EnergyCoin and StakeCoin together to make create new value for both coins.
After a snapshot is taken from both coins the stake rewards get value in a new phase creating the value ecosystem.
We can't promise quick cash-value but it is a unique combination the can have a big impact on the global environment in time.
It is based on the vision of Jan Clement back in 2014 with the Geo-connection of the Blockchain.

I have planned a meeting with a potential partner in Rotterdam on January 24th.
Jan is joining and shall present the options he sees for collaboration.
He posted on LinkedIn (in Dutch) also an application he wants to develop with partners.
It is an application to reward people when they use green energy when available according to the energy weather forecast by Hela van Leur

With Jan I discussed the options for the future of EnergyCoin.
I have contact with parties that have an interest in collaborating with EnergyCoin Foundation because we have a great name and ideas.
They search for a way to adopt EnergyCoin and Jan gave me the idea of snapshot EnergyCoin Blockchain.
It is just in the idea phase but we also agreed that we share more of our ideas and activities with the community.
For Jan there is no real ENRG community yet but I hope that we get support and discussing the future here makes ENRG people more involved.
The discussion about the future of EnergyCoin we do in this topic and only use telegram to attend people for new information on Bitcointalk.
That is what I agreed with Jan.
Hope to see more action on this topic and bring life back to EnergyCoin.

We experienced forking in some situations.
Forking can occur when not many nodes are online.
There are two stable nodes with P2P port 22706 open. These controller nodes can be used to connect preventing forking.
Change the content op EnergyCoin.conf as follows:
