What have Delinquency to say? Isn't there a possibility to revive the coin? What happened to this great coin to be removed to all markets, site down and total abandon? Why???
The GPU miner is really not a factor since GPU mining is very bad with this coin (it was good for about a week or two until yvg1900 released his Yam Miner for MMC which eliminated this advantage).

I believe GPU is still viable and interesting. I've mined MMC for some time with two of the R290 of my mining rig with 41 HPM and it was profitable (now it isn't at electicity price here in Italy). As a comparison with my i7 with AES-NI on and hugepage working I achieve an 8 HPM. To obtain the same result the only way I had was to mine on my company server CPUs but... this was not an option
Yes, cpu wattage is less but the watt per hash ratio, I believe, is still pointing to GPU mining.
As for the pools - The coin's CNO is working on a (already in beta) p2pool to solve this issue...
This should hopefully move many people to use the official pool with far lower fees (1%) and will create a better hash power distribution.

Only one negative point you've not listed: the pools are not at all distributed. 1GH.com and mmcpool.com represent mote than 95% hashpower between pools. I don't believe there are many solo miners so this is a problem now. This is due to the fact, I believe, that the only GPU miner is not open source, it's compiled and owned by 1GH.com. This must be solved for the future of the coin.

I have a website in early closed beta that is using, between the others, the API from http://agran.net/ to get MMC balance of an address but from some time it don't works anymore (timeout). It seems shut down. Anyone has any news about it? I hope that the service will revive somewhere else, otherwise my service will not work with MMC

A task is still running? I don't understand, however I've rebooted several times without positive effects. Last try was to install catalyst 13.6 beta2 (I was on 13.5 beta that worked flawlessy, before to try CGMINER 3.2.0)Did you delete bin files? Reset the drivers to USB/COM? If nothing works, re-compile and remove all the fpga stuff.
At first try I've copied CGMINER 3.2.0 files inside my old 3.1.0 CGMINER folder to update files (yes, all files + folders). That was the first crash, then I prepared a separate folder for every CGMINER version to be sure that no old file was messing up something. I'm experiencing a very odd and blocking problem: was mining with CGMINER 3.1.0 on Radeon HD 5750, never had problem, with SHA256 nor Scrypt, all was fine.
At some point I tried CGMINER 3.2.0 and it crashed at start (could only see one line "Started CGMINER 3.2.0" and then crashed).
The odd thing is that from that point over even all other versions of CGMINER do the same!!! I cannot anymore use CGMINER! I've tried with 3.1.1 (that I'm succesfully using on another PC): crash. 3.1.0 that was working well before: crash. Today I tried even 3.2.1: crash.
I did a Dr. Mingw debug for you, hoping to understand what the hell is happening.
I hope that someone can lead me to the solution.... I'm now using bitminter java client, but I want a scrypt miner and I like so much CGMINER...!

Why?Let's say you mine Worldcoin and you have generated so far 1000 WDC. Today they are worth 0.3133 BTC (mcxnow quotation of 0.0003132 BTC) or 39.5 USD (mtgox quotation of 126.15854).
If we all work and believe in this coin tomorrow 1 WDC can be worth, let's say, 0.01 BTC. If that will be the case your 1000 WDC will be equal to 1,261 USD
If the work better they can be worth 0.1 BTC, and you'll have 12,615 USD.
We must work togheter.

Why nearly all miners think only about himself with a timeframe of 10 seconds? Don't you see a little longer in the future? If we want this coin to grow we must act as a community, protecting the coin and helping growing it up.
Here is my personal list of things to do to support WDC and help it to not fail (it's our interest, right?):

- Don't dump your mined coin immediately, if you're smart and believe in this coin you have to mine and don't waste WDC you generate at lower and lower prices. If we'll work well then, in months, WDC will maybe be exchanged at a much higher value. Then you can begin selling them, not all togheter.
Think about first people who believed in bitcoin and mined more than a bitcoin a day... If they sold them immediately like you're doing now... Miner that had a believe in bitcoin now are nearly rich! - WDC must be used for real world transactions, if this will not be true in the near future the coin will be dead. It must have a real value. Now all people mine and sell WDC for BTC, this is what will get the price to drop. All who can help (developers!) are welcome to build smartphone apps and all kind of software that can help real world operation with this coin.
- Set a donation to pool operator, expecially when it ha 0% fee like worldcoinpool.com (pool operators work much and have expenses.... Who likes to work for nothing???). Donating we are supporting their work

I've tryied bitcoin-qt 8.2 RC1 as you suggested. Thing seems improved but remains pretty bad...
Here is my updated situation. I'm returning again to bitminter... With P2Pool I've wasted much GPU power...

Moreover with bitcoin-qt 8.2 RC1 I see a message everywhere that's scarying me a little:

Moreover with bitcoin-qt 8.2 RC1 I see a message everywhere that's scarying me a little:
Warning: (from bitcoind) Questa versione è una compilazione pre-rilascio - usala a tuo rischio - non utilizzarla per la generazione o per applicazioni di commercio
In english it means "This version is a pre-release - use it at your own risk - don't use it for generation or for commerce applications"

Thank you for sharing your experience. It's bad because I like P2Pool, like the idea of distributed mining because it's not attackable with DDOS like other pools and there is not chance that pool operator can be disonest!
But if it works in this way it's unusable... In the meanwhile I returned to bitminter.com
With my 7970 I generate something like 5-6 shares a day. But at beginning it was ok, it was profitable, now it isn't anymore. Do you have latencies so high too?

Hello people,
it's some days I'm trying P2Pool (from Git) with CGMiner 3.1.0 and from yesterday 3.1.1.
I have some major problems with Bitcoind GetBlockTemplate Latency and I believe I have bad results for that... At beginning all was fine with latencies in the order of 0.2 - 0.3, but suddensly latency rised to 5 seconds!!! I tryied to close and reopen P2Pool and bitcoin-qt but latency remained high. Only today latency went "down" to approx 0.8 sec, that is however very high from what I've read (to have good results must be in the order of 0.1 sec).
Please note that P2Pool and bitcoin-qt runs on a SSD, the PC is a fast i5, the internet connection is an ADSL that works at about 4Mbit/s x 0.5Mbit/s with no other traffic.
What's wrong? What can I do to investigate the problem source?
Moreover I never got P2Pool to run for more than 2 days, then python crashes...
Please help!
