Fiat should not generally be considered or seen as dirty money, even crypto can be tag dirty if channelled to the wrong cause, if crypto was all that clean why is the USA and INDIA against it?

Re: What do you think about the price of Bitcoin if Donald Trump can ban Bitcoin ?

US President Donald Trump Says He’s ‘Not a Fan’ of Bitcoin

so if Donald Trump has the power to ban Bitcoin, what happens to Bitcoin in the future? the price of Bitcoin will continue to fall and die or the price of Bitcoin will continue to grow and increase? let's give your opinion because I want to hear your response.

Trump decision will temporarily have an effect on bitcoin, as expected, there will be panic and lots of weak hands will sell off, but with time, things will regulate and bitcoin will bounce back, we shouldnt forget that the demand for bitcoin is globally and the USA is just about 1/3 of the world demand for bitcoin.

What is the First Cryptocurrency(First digital money)?
No idea about what the first crypto currency was, but bitcoin was the first decentralized digital asset. I would be glad to be educated more on the first crypto currency. Thanks...

Re: Why I love the speculators in Bitcoin.
by
enogheghase123
on 22/07/2019, 06:07:51 UTC
I just realized speculators add some value to all of us, when they cause spikes in the price. I am a hoarder through and through, but I like to support Bitcoin merchants by buying and paying with bitcoin for some food and drinks on a daily basis. This is the only way to make sure that there would be a continuous demand for coins, if we "feed" the merchants that supports us.

So my strategy has always been to use +/- 20% of all the coins I buy... and most of these coins are spend daily on food and drinks. I buy the odd hamburger and chips or Taco and drinks at a local street food merchant that accepts Bitcoin.

This gets me to the point of my topic and that is that speculators can have a positive influence on my spending habits and the amount of coins that I spend. If they push up the price, I get to spend less coins. A Taco and Cooldrink cost about say 0.0004 BTC today and when they drive up the price, I can spend less coins the next day, when that same food costs say 0.0003 BTC  Roll Eyes

Some people stop spending coins, when the price is too low and that is bad for the whole Bitcoin ecosystem.

Some people hate these speculators, but I love it when they push up the price and I can spend less coins. Grin

Well you seems to be concerned about the positive part of the speculators alone, offcourse well all want prices to go up so we make some few bucks. But what if these same speculators causes price to go down? what will become of you then?Huh?

Re: $32m stolen from Tokyo cryptocurrency exchange in latest hack

Its beginning to dawn on me that these hacks news making waves about exchange may be a scam on it own, maybe exchange owners may be responsible for the hack anyway, they may see this as a legit means of stealing assets without been the primary suspect. My thought though  Huh

Re: You don't loose if you don't encash

Hey  Smiley

I once came across a time when I was unsure where the market is going to take us , thus I brought at a very high price , unfortunately the price came down as quickly as it climbed up.

The reason I believe I haven't lost even a single penny is because I believe you cannot loose when you don't encash.

Therefore I still believe holding for the long term can actually help you .

Now i understand what you mean by encash and I strongly support your claim, I once have a token am still hoding on to till date, I bought as high as 10usd per token and it fell to 4.5usd per token, but I haven't loose my investment as long as am still hoding on to my token. HODL!!!

Re: What can you buy with bitcoin?

I think bitcoin has since pass this stage of comtemplating on what to buy with bitcoin, we should rather be talking about paying salaries and wages with bitcoin. I read an article of recent where hip hop music legend and icon 50 cent was paid to perform at a show with bitcoin, yes BITCOIN...

Re: Bitcoin as a Form of Anarchy

an anarchical system of government can be compared to a tyrant system whereby order and decisions are vested on a central power, but this is quite different for bitcoin as we have seen overtime the emergence of altcoin that coexist side by side with bitcoin. I dont really see bitcoin enjoying that dictatorial leverage.

Re: Don’t deposit on Bitstarz - scam
by

on 14/07/2019, 04:43:08 UTC
So after winning big amounts on Bitstarz and sending in all required documents they asked for they later decides to close my account because they claim I have multiple accounts on there site, one week earlier I asked for closure of my previous account because I input name wrong in my account and I am familliar with terms in casinos, butwith no response from there support, after winning big amount they decide to close my account for no reason. DONT DEPOSIT ON BITSTARZ!!
But was there really a case of multiple account from your end? If yes then I think you are fault for trying to outsmart the system and at the end you were stuck in the web. You cant completely call them scam when you didnt play by the rules.

Re: Do you like to see Bitcoin prize stable between 10K-20K?

Do you like to see Bitcoin prize stable between 10K-20K? or keep this pattern and behave like in past? 20K - 3K. I personally like to see bitcoin stable between 10K-20K. So everyone will happy for the situation.Open for discussion.
it will be a great deal to see bitcoin stability within the range of 10k-20k, But if this be the case then the fun of investing in it will be taken off, I mean what will become of commoners like myself who may bee unable to buy at that given price? what if bitcoin slump a little and i buy then become a millionaire when it rises.

what ever the trend or direction bitcoin may go is not a threat to investors or bitcoin holders, we have seen bitcoin rose from 3300usd to 9000usd within a couple of days, so why cant we ave that believe in bitcoin to reach 20000usd by december 2019? lets have faith and avoid spreading panic.

What this author is trying to say is that bitcoin cannot be banned globally and i completely agree with the author, yes local laws can put embaggle on the activities of bitcoin but for bitcoin to be completely eradicated is a complete myth.,

Re: the future of crypto is good or bad

I want to invest my savings into cryptocurrency. So I think about the future of cryptocurrency. what do you think? Do you think the future or cryptocurrency is good? Or do you think the future or cryptocurrency is bad?
Please help me, because I will invest all my savings. So if I make a bad decision, my family and I will be on the road to improve my economy.
One thing you should understand about crypto currency investment is that you only invest what you can afford to loose in case of unforeseen eventuality and not your whole life savings. Now back to your question, the future is bright and good for crypto currency but one thing you should also take into cognisance is the fact that there are lots of scam ico, ieo projects out there to defraud investors, so before making any investment, DYOR.

I totally understand your point of view, but am of the opinion that if and when crypto eventually succeed fiat, then provisions will be made to savage the issues of non availability of internet facilities in the rural area. Lets get to that bridge first then we figure out a way around it.

You not screwed you only made the wrong decision and probably sold outta panick, before you take another step to either jump in now or wait, I would urge you to carry out a research on bitcoin and know what it really is before you decide because if you really have a detailed info on bitcoin you wont have sold at 7550usd, waiting for bitcoin to go back to that price is like waiting for a plane in a sea port.

i dont advice crypto enthusiast to leave their coins on exchange, not even for a day, I dont care what the witdrawal fee may cost, i always pull my coin from exchange to my secure wallet, and i strongly advice and recommend the same for all crypto enthusiast, secure your token in a secure ledger to avoid loss in unforeseen circumstances.

Re: The reason we need cryptocurrencies
by
enogheghase123

we cannot over emphasize the reasons we need crypto currency. Crypto currency has finally given us the liberty to actually own what actually ours, I have always kicked against the banking system, I mean what use is my money in a bank account with no interest attached? when i can invest such amount in crypto though risky, but still make some few bucks.
