you are the admin, your role is only for managing stuff.
I was talking about a role that needs to be more active for community growth

argon2d is anti-GPU
It is no longer true, there are many miners that allow GPU mining using argon2d. More explanation here: https://www.reddit.com/r/garlicoin/comments/7wf3m6/argon2d_is_gpu_resistant/dyrir63/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Currently, the most GPU/ASIC resistant functions are probably yescrypt-based. But in reality, there is no such things like "ASIC-resistance". People are not building ASIC machines for such algorithms, because now it is not profitable yet. But when some altcoins will be worth more, they will be created sooner or later. And the only defense in all such cases is changing an algorithm, but it possibly leads to creating a new coin.

GPU resistance is regularly broken on many algorithms, because it is easier to get some GPU hardware and write some code than create some ASIC device from scratch.
you technically don't know what you talking about, you just did some quick googles and jumped to a false conclusion.
Luck uses argon2id (not argon2d) with heavy parameters that make GPU almost equivalent to CPU. To be detailed, memory cost is 64mb, parallelism cost is 4, time cost is 1. Other argon2 projects can be mined by GPU because they use lightweight parameters, such as memory cost is only 1mb. You can test it for yourself, or ask a real expert about this.
Plus, for mining a block the miners have to do 3 rounds of argon2id. So GPU miner is definitely unrealistic here.

looking for mining farm partners
by

hi fellows, we are a group of crypto developers. We create private GPU miners, which usually 20%+ outperform official miners, sometimes we create GPU miners before the dev team. We have our own mining farm, but now we need more power to take advantage of that. Here I want to invite one or two farmers to join our group, please send me DM your farm detail if you're interested. If you don't see my reply, that means I choose someone else.

The ways we will work:
- Our group will operate from miner to pool and take a fee from that. Usually 5%-30%.
- For some coins that we can't share information, we will rent your farm with your highest income from that + 10% more.

Thanks for reading.

my lecture has mentioned this project in my class this morning, he bought some VEO as well. his friends also invested time on creating a miner for this project. IMHO, this project will be successful.

How profitable is it to mine this coin right now with an Nvidia GTX 1070? compared to ETH or Zcash for example.
I'm mining with 3 Gtx1080Ti. Get around 20 coins a day, so around $25.

How much hash you are getting, because this seems to be a lot. Also which pool and miner you are using?

Because these days because of difficulty increase, mining reward is less

I remember that HR is around 7-8Gh/s, got ~20 shares per hour and each share worth ~0.04 BIS, 0.04*20*24 = 19.2BIS as I remember (this is few weeks ago, I haven't checked current status yet). I'm mining on the official pool, eggpool. Maybe the difficulty has increased and these numbers are not correct for now.

another quick question, me and my friends would like to create some simple games that base on this coin as well. We have many years experience in python. Can we do it now? Any technical documentation yet?

I'm mining at eggpool for now, but I notice that some guys above said there is 15% more if mining at https://bismuth.coinsaurus.com/. Is that true?
