Tony Churyumoff Brings You Byteball - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmKHCV5sB4I

It was recorded on December 2017, but only recently published. Very informative for anyone trying to learn more about this project.

I find this website very useful www.stockcharts.com/education/
But since you're making this question in this forum, you might need much more than that. An expert might be of great help.

Sweet $700. USD ATH this week?  Smiley

It is already $720 Smiley
1000$ will be an important milestone, fully deserved by all investors who have survived the ice age of this bear market summer.
Would be well deserved for bytes holders. That was a brutal bear market. Somebody proposed new logo concepts: https://www.reddit.com/r/ByteBall/comments/7knhfv/byteball_new_visual_identity_concept/

I like this design Smiley
The design is cool. But it reminds of maidsafe and other perpetual-machine-like projects.

I think it doesn't catch the essence of the project.

I know that many traders, that came from Wall Street, have relative success applying the techniques they learned in the stock market. A good place to learn these techniques is a website called stockcharts.com (go to the section Chart School)

Hello!

I've got a few coins on the side and I'd like to make them work.
Which gambling site do you advise me to invest in the bankroll?
There was a time when investing in casino bankrolls was very profitable, but I'm not sure if now it is that good. Also, if you were holding your Bitcoin since last year, I'm quite sure the results would have been much better than those provided by bankroll investments.

If you are using SegWit addresses, you will have not much problem making transactions at low fees, but you still have problems if you're looking for something at visa level.

If you don't care about censorship resistant transactions, just use visa.

Difference regarding what? Please be more specific. I guess it has some anonymity features, but I don't think it is better than Bitcoin in any other aspect.

Any use case for blackcoin byte
unable to find any exchange to sell it
I guess there are decentralized markets for it in the wallet itself. Go to the BotStore.

I'm sure this is not going to happen.
Unlike the US dollar, the Bitcoin supply is really limited. (a good percentage of it is already lost, because of people who lost their coins, especially those who did not see value in it in the early days)
With such a limited supply, a few rich guys would not have much problem buying every coin at extremely low prices.

Though truly profitable, ICOs are considered scams by many but there are few that are truly legitimate. Just the right choice for China because these ICOs are targeting the people of their country because there are many crypto currency investors in China.
Unless it has long term success, ICOs are only profitable to early adopters (if the token is not launched below the ICO price, of course...) and a few other investors who buy before the pump.
The point is, it's not hard to understand that most ICOs will not have long term success, and many people will have to learn the hard way.

Re: Ethereum without miners? What do you think?
by
erik m.
on 26/08/2017, 13:47:47 UTC
Ethereum as a non-mineable coin is a green coin because it saves a lot of power and hardware expenses, mining hardware had an obsolescence cycle of six month which in turn dumping another electronic hardware to the ground that contributes hazards to environment and also taking a lot of waste of energy source from mining is not a good idea why not redistribute the power source to other community like street lighting. if no miners in an Ethereum ecosystem it can save a lot of megawatts of electricity, Mr. Buterin was a good visionary for his Ethereum he saves the mother earth.
I think you don't understand PoW very well, buddy. There is not such a thing as waste of electricity. It's actually being used to make the network safe, and prevent attacks.

He does, he is saying POS does the same thing which is processing blocks and keeping the network secure but without using all the power from POW

...then NXT would be number one. 100% Proof-of-Stake. But I suppose you're being sarcastic.

Unfortunately most don't take it seriously because of the name (yeah, I know it’s stupid… but these are some serious investors).

When I mention "Byte balls" to someone, it gives very weird responses indeed. Calling them "GBYTE" is also confusing, as it's a standard term related to computers.
I understand why the name was chosen though.
Just explain that "ball" stands for snowball effect, and it's related to the technology.

When you think of it bitcoin sounds stupid too (as well as pizza)  Wink
Indeed. Smiley
people found it funny in the early days

Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC?
by

Good question. I think so, but if they are wise they will know that Bitcoin is a risky investment in the current state, so they probably do not invest as much money in this as some people imagine.

Will there be a change in units as byteball grows? Displaying the price of 1gb might look odd when it's worth more than 2000d$ for example.

There is an option in the wallet to display GB, MB, or Kb, same for black bytes
This depends on the exchanges and coinmarketcap itself. But I think it helps keep inexperienced investors away.

The price has moved more than 40%. Is there any real development going on, or just hype?

very real tech behind it, no hype, buy asap
Still not enough fundamentals for me to get in
