Re: PhoenixMiner 5.7b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
by

on 26/09/2021, 12:59:56 UTC
The  new  version  is  finally  ready.  You  can  download  PhoenixMiner  5.8a  from  here:

PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Windows.zip Github
PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Linux.tar.gz Github

Changes in version 5.8a :
  • LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Added lock core clock
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RTX 3060/3080/3090 cards
  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will
provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 600 (i.e. until about Sep 2023)
  • Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. Note that with these cards under Linux you need to specify relative core voltage: e.g. -
cclock -50 will set the core voltage to be 50 mV under the default value
  • Added ROCr kernels for Vega, Radeon VII and Navi cards. With these kernels you will be able to run these cards with Linux drivers 20.45 and later but the performance will
be lower than with the older PAL drivers and kernels. We recommend using AMD Linux driver 20.30 for all cards except RX6900/6800/6700
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux (there is no need to run these cards with -clkernel 0 anymore)
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers up to 21.8.1. Note that Radeon VII cards will not work with drivers 21.6.1 or higher - you need to use older drivers for proper
    operation of these cards
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers up to 21.20 (use older drivers for Vega or Radeon VII cards as they will not work with 21.20). Note that the latest 21.30 drivers are
not supported (and the initial testing shows that even the older Polars cards are not working properly with them, so avoid 21.30 for now)
  • Numerous other fixes and small improvements

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.8a

Re: [CHR] | CHROMIA | 10 million market cap | HUGE OPPORTUNITY

I am one of the hodler of CHROMIA and I am waiting for its come back. Based on fundamentals CHROMIA has huge potential and it's really very competitive in its use cases. Maybe one factor why it went dumped was because of what happened to Kucoin last time. But I always believe for CHROMIA to come back much stronger than before.

Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation

Ripple (XRP) is on the rally now just like Bitcoin. It might have some correction in just a short period of time but it still coming back to continue its rising. I have read an article which said that the target price for XRP is 20$ - 30$ as they entered in partnering with the Bank of America. Ripple already updated their website confirming their partnership with them. https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/ripple-confirms-bank-of-america-boa-as-a-client/?

Re: Pi network - KYC is needed to use it!

PI is a good project based on the surveys and the reviews that have been done in the past. In PI Network you can start earning now even without spending but you need to submit and pass their KYC for you to withdraw your earnings soon. And as we know KYC is referring to Know Your Customer, which they are just making sure that all the users is a legit and not a dummy user.

Re: XRP miracle

Everyone is calling Ripple (XRP) a miracle token now as it is surging. It broke .75$ and recorded 50% or more market value outpacing the Bitcoin rally. As of the moment, we can see a pullback with XRP. Do you think it can hit 1$ by this week or it will continue the pullback that's happening now?

BCH is good which can handle more, cheap, and fast transactions in just a second period. And knowing that BCH is a cryptocurrency that fork originally from Bitcoin and it's becoming more adopted day by day in the industry. So we can assure that BCH is really good in its use cases.

Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy
by

Entering the month of October the market went hype already in terms of Bitcoin price and it went more hype this month as it followed by Ethereum, XRP, and other Altcoins in the market. Some traders can't take profit hoping it will go up more and some are taking profit already when it's just started to go up. And here emotional traders will affect their decision and also those greedy ones. Be careful and take it all in balance so you won't lose in the end.

Re: Why Are So Many Altcoins Worthless After a Little Time
by
escalante28
on 21/11/2020, 15:34:55 UTC
You're right there are so many Altcoins that become worthless after a little time because they belonged to the hype project. It doesn't matter for them the real usage of the token they just go with the flow of hype to make or raise funds. So if you stuck with this kind orf project you will just lose everything.

by

on 21/11/2020, 13:25:50 UTC
The top 5 coins/tokens that I am holding right now are Bitcoin of course the number, not so much but enough for the Bullrun. Followed by Ethereum (ETH), BNB, Chainlink, and I also have AVA. I know AVA is too far from its target price yet as it dumped so much a few months ago but I can see some developments now, Well, I also have some more tokens not to mention (Lol).

Re: Preparing for altcoin season
by

Yes, as the Bitcoin is surging we should prepare and wait now for the Altcoins season it will be next for sure. Last 2017, after Bitcoin hit 20K$ in just a few months Altcoins started to surge till the middle of the year. So this is just a pattern of what happened during the 2017 bullrun. Altcoins holder will begin their party soon.

Re: How about day trading Eth?
by

on 18/11/2020, 14:40:01 UTC
Day trading is exciting that you need to buy or purchase tokens/coins and selling them on the same day. You need to execute a large volume of short and long trades to capitalize on intraday market price action.

I have read an article explaining Day trading and its worth to read https://crypto.co/news/things-to-know-about-cryptocurrency-day-trading/

Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in?
by
escalante28
on 18/11/2020, 04:52:34 UTC
To determine whether an Altcoin is worth investing in you must check their website, whitepaper, roadmap, token usage and must check also on the team handling the project. And another thing you must join their social media accounts to get more updates from them, including joining in their telegram or discord where you can discuss with them.

Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away
by

on 17/11/2020, 15:56:00 UTC
I don't think bounty scam will go away no matter what rules or what app you will put to detect those scammers. There will always be cheating and scamming that will happen believe me. (Lol). But the things you are saying are good anyway to lessen the scammers and cheaters in the bounty program, in such way those hard-working bounty hunters and project that is in good faith will be rewarded fairly.

by

I beg to disagree, Defi project is not yet over but it's getting lie low a bit since lots of Defi scammed projects are coming in and run away after raising funds from the investors. So Legit Defi projects got affected by those Defi scammed projects. But Defi projects will still be there just like ICO, IEO, and others.

Re: Altcoin pump and dump
by
escalante28
on 17/11/2020, 05:50:54 UTC
The pump and dump of altcoins are just normal in the market as we expected. When Bitcoin goes pump very rapidly expect that Altcoins will go dump. When Bitcoin goes dump rapidly still expect the Altcoins to go dump. But when Bitcoin becomes stable in its price then it's time to party for Altcoins hodlers. On the other hand, there are still Altcoins who goes pump depends on the project.

Re: Pain of bounty hunters
by

on 16/11/2020, 09:21:35 UTC
I've seen lots of this, so sad for the hardworking bounty hunters who helped the project to boost it and make them successful on their launching, the Bounty Manager should be the one who's responsible for this kind of things, but sometimes the Bounty Manager are the ones who make the bounty hunters suffer.
