Another 22k volume 3m bar over at OKCoin - this time it moved the price 0.0 (maybe 0.2) yuan.

The Coinmarketcap Bitcoin markets page has a special category at the bottom of the page for markets with no trading fees. Any of those markets are denoted with * to signify "Volume Excluded - No Trading Fees". The OkCoin Intl.   BTC/USD market has fees and is included in Coinmarketcap's volume calculations. The OKCoin.cn   BTC/CNY market has no fees, and is excluded. Its volume is more than ten times higher than the market with fees today.

OkCoin Intl.   BTC/USD   $ 1,341,280
OKCoin.cn   BTC/CNY   $ 25,663,300 *

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets

Any markets without fees are a joke for calculating volume from, and thankfully Coinmarketcap ignores them all.

Guess its okay to fake volume then. My bad, sorry.

Hilarious to watch the volume going on over at Huobi and OKCoin - 2h bar showing 140k and 199k (highest 2h volume ever) versus 1370 at bitstamp.

Last 44k BTC will be auctioned by the end of 2015:

By the way, do we know when the Mt.Gox's claims will be settled?

Date and time for investigation of claims September 9, 2015, 1:30 pm

Who knows when 202k coins will be dumped on the market.

So Bitstamp is now also faking volume?

What's your evidence?  Is this pure FUD spreading disinformation?

Haven't you noticed the 49.99 buy and sell for weeks now? Obviously irrational trading which points to it being an inhouse bot run at stamp to pump up volume. Why shouldn't they do it? The chinese exchanges have been doing it for years.

For all the bulltards, take one close look at the restistance line which was formed in january and acted as resistance on august 18th (and since) - now will the market be able to break through it? Perhaps, not likely (resistance is at $238 about). If we approach that level short like a motherfucker or die broke. Bitcoin is in serious trouble both with liquidity and with the divide on blocksize.

Go long and laugh at us bears as we approach $238..

What exactly is going on at Finex?

Have they come out with any sort of official statement?
Well, on Twitter they said: "Trading has resumed. We'll update everyone with more detail as to what happened shortly."

Usually, with Bitcoin exchanges, statements like these mean they will never tell any outsider what happened exactly.

This tweet is the nearest thing to a statement that I could find. It suggests their trading engine's database is corrupt, and there has already been a complaint from one of their customers that his balance is not correct. I've not found a proper official statement anywhere yet, only that tweet.

We are experiencing data corruption issues and will be offline until corrected. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I believe them as much as I believe they actually had $30million ready to buy BTC.

If you have half a brain it's time to short, check out the resistance line at bitfinex. Expect either a huge pump (insanely ulikely) or a dump.

Not enough volume to get this really going, expecting a small little bounce and sideways for a day or two. Then dropit like its hot.

Still short, so if it drops like a rock I will open the champagne!

We are now looking at the next huge wave down last seen summer 2014 (ofc with some bounces), we might find some ground at 230 (longterm trendline since april 2013) - if it fails we collapse into 1xx and then double digits.

Right now the price is $250 - advice, short.

If it comes true double digits will be around december this year (2015). My guess is $77.

Saved for future reference.

Edit: Within a year I also expect bitstamp & bitfinex to collapse (bankruptcy).

Excellent timing I must say, pure luck of course. And we have found ground as expected at 230. My position is still short.
