Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner

Someone suggested that he could sell 10 boards minimum or 25 minimum so people can organize group buys. I think this is a good option for both burnin and customers.

This is a good idea, releasing Burnin from burden of dealing directly with customers. If 25 minimum is too small he can raise it to 100, it will be no problem for a group buy to organize with usual (up to 10%) organizer fee instead of high reseller margins.

I don't think its that easy. I think there is a contract between seller and reseller, so that this will not happen... The reseller will not be very happy if the manufacturer directly sells to the end-customer...

It bears mentioning again that burnin is not responsible for the price that cryptx demands for the boards.

Do you actually know this is true?  I mean that would be fine if there were more suppliers, but cryptx appears to be exclusive... at least in that they have the database with my details, and money owed.
I originally paid Burnin, not cryptx, but I now find myself at the mercy of a company I dont know, with prices significantly higher than expected.

This is true. Originally your contract is made with burnin electronics. Now this has changed without your OK as second contractor.

Noooo, still waitin that diff. Kills my profit...

In the first page it says: Production capability ~1000 modules per week

So if this is true, and with a mean value of 15 chips per bitburner, there are 1,5 batches processed per week. Maybe you will get them soon. Maybe not if production capabilities stated before have changed.

Update on the K64: Individual K16s are working fine. Inter-board communication (I2C) is not yet functional because BkkCoins (from whom we licensed the design) never finished the firmware and is unresponsive for over a week. I am trying to fix it, and hopefully it will be up and running soon.

Individual K16s are working fine...  If so, why don't they process the orders from all the people who ordered?

Von den 2 Avalon ASICs die ich hier anbiete. Es sind wirklich nur 2 baremetal chips. Man muss sie irgendwo draufbestücken damit sie laufen...
