It will not die, smart people hold to it not because of its reputation or whatever. They hold it because they know how it works and what benefits it can bring.

Re: Is Bitcoin Worth To Be Currency?
by
ethancer
on 26/07/2018, 19:41:19 UTC
It's definitely worth of being a currency, but is it ready? No. There's still a lot that needs to change. When it will be ready, it will just be another $ without physical form. People overestimate bitcoin as a currency. It will do great things until it reaches the "normal money" status, but when it will happen, there won't be any difference from todays money.

Re: Bitcoin as the preferred form of Money? Sparring Debate
by
ethancer
on 26/07/2018, 18:51:56 UTC
Bitcoin is not ready to replace any form of fiat. When it will reach that point, it will just become another form of USD, just maybe without any physical form. Currently it wouldn't be smart to use it, as its too volatile and not regulated, etc.

If someone is considering investing all they have into crypto, they shouldn't be investing at all, anywhere. Never invest money you can't afford to lose.

Re: Why did the government want to kill Bitcoin?
by
ethancer
on 26/07/2018, 10:37:34 UTC
as we know, many governments in the world are banning bitcoins and here I have my own why the government want to kill Bitcoin, because I think Bitcoin can be used for terrorist financing, money laundering, illegal weapons purchases, crime and tax evasion. therefore the government forbids Bitcoin, because Bitcoin transactions are difficult to trace so it is only natural for me if the government is very worried about Bitcoin and many country banning (block) Bitcoin.
but this is just my opinion, so if I am wrong I apologize.

Thank You.

I also agree with you, the government forbids bitcoin because bitcoin users can not be traced. the government is afraid of more and more people using bitcoin as money laundering and terrorist financing.
I would argue that it is better for the government to accept bitcoin and make rules about crypto currency so that people can not commit crime through bitcoin.

Also the government cant put taxes on it, and they don't like that

Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin?
by
ethancer
on 25/07/2018, 21:54:31 UTC
After talking to many people, it seems the biggest factor that scares people is the volatility. You don't know how and when it will drop or rise, and a lot of people are not comfortable with taking risks. High risks = high rewards, but risks can break you down very badly. That's why noone should invest if they can't afford to lose it

Re: The Future Of Crypto Market Without Bitcoin?
by
ethancer
on 25/07/2018, 21:16:19 UTC
Bitcoin will never go away, it's the alpha coin. It's very volatile, and might drop very low or get as high as a million, but it's never going away. It already helped the economy and who knows what future will bring. But if we would imagine bitcoin disappearing, i'm guessing ethereum would take over as the new top.

BTC dipped, but it will rise. There's a big chance it will reach 12k or more at the end of the year. Better get it now while you still can. I doubt it will disappear anytime soon

I'm not sure if someone mentioned this yet, but you can get a global bank card, something like Revolut, and purchase bitcoin with that. Your bank won't be able to track your btc purchase

Re: How will crypto go long term?
by
ethancer
on 25/07/2018, 19:15:51 UTC
It all depends on development and teams behind certain cryptocurrencies, but I personally think that crypto will be the future, but we will have to see. It's growing stronger and getting recognized a lot more, and also helps boost the economy. In the long run, crypto might be the standard "premium" currency, but i doubt it will push out fiat completely, as it's too volatile. But we will definitely have crypto in the future

Re: The dollar affects Bitcoin?
by
ethancer
on 25/07/2018, 10:58:30 UTC
as we know, the dollar is now rising, from the rise in the dollar it turns out that the price of Bitcoin is also rising, so what I ask here is that this is related to the dollar increase? or just coincidence?

It's one of the reason for the raise in the price of bitcoin. As we know bitcoin in U.S is a legal one,if the people from U.S increase their investment in bitcoin. The price of bitcoin will increase based on the price of dollars.

Every form of currency is influences by other currency, in one way or another. Sometimes it's hard to see it, but i think if $ would crash massively, we would see big changes in btc

Be greedy up to a certain point. Never invest more than you can afford to lose. Learn everything you can about crypto, study it, invest where you feel confident.
