Hello Guys ! 

I find an old file .key from multibit that i used a long time ago. The file is encrypted and i try to put in multibit software but doesn't work !

I don't remember if i use a password but when i used multibit i just open the software and used it..
I think when i use the software for payment, there is a creation of file.key ?? and it is automatically encrypted ? i'm not sure of the functioning

Somebody have an idea to decrypt .key file ? and a procedure to do it ?

Thanks for your reply. I try with data rescue, easus data recovery wizard, disk drill, iboysoft data recov, wondershare data recovery, stellar phoenix data recovery.
With one of them, i don't remember which one. I find a key file and a wallet file created in 2013 when i open Multibit classic for the first time but files are empty ....

I have a problem and maybe you can help me So, many years ago (2013) i used multibit on my mac. I just opened multibit, create an adress and used it to transfert bitcoin. I never used a password. During 2 years i send bitcoins 1 time per month. One day (2015) i sended bitcoin on my multibit adress before open multibit. When i opened it, SURPRISE ! the bitcoin adress had change ! and there is no bitcoin money. When i checked the public key i see the transfert and bitcoin money.
When i try to recover wallet or key in multibit file, nothing ! so after read some articles, i exported private key ... (too late).
Now we 're in 2021, i find my multibit wallet from 2015 with the new adress. I try software to recover old multibit file from when i created the wallet but not files .wallet or .key ...
I have a chance to backup my old wallet ?

J'ai utilisé sur mon mac le logiciel MULTIBIT version ANCIENNE 0.5 il y a des 8 ans. J'avais une adresse Bitcoin que j'ai créé directement sur le logiciel. J'ai utilisé cette adresse pendant une année à envoyer et recevoir des soussous.
Un jour je lance le logiciel et la!! l'adresse n'est plus la même elle a changée ... De ce que j'ai lu sur internet c'était à cause du renouvellement des clés. Par la suite j'ai laissé ça de côté et j'ai supprimer le logiciel.

1- Est ce que si je n'ai pas exporté ma private key ou mon wallet il y aurait pu avoir une exporte lorsque j'ai fait des échanges de soussous ?
2- J'ai fouillé mon MAC, l'emplacement caché du logiciel et rien.
3- J'ai fait des recherches de fichiers supprimées avec des logiciels mais pas de wallet ou de private key..

Comme j'ai fait des échanges, j'ai l'adresse en question. Voilà voilà ...

Pouvez me donner des idées ? des méthodes pour retrouver mes BITCOINS ?

I try the other one and i have my .txt with many adresses but not the ADRESS what i want ...

Like i say : " i send it at the same BTC adresse but when i open Multibit the adresse had change and i lost my fund because i didn't take the private key before"

I heard that after 100 adresses created the wallet recreate new adresses?? i don't understand how it's work

In my memories it was MultiBit but it was in 2014 and i just save one folder in my mac with wallet.dat , peers.dat , etc...
I do the recover of the wallet.dat with Bitcoin Core (put the wallet.dat in folder and rescan) and no problem but i wait for download of chain so i did'nt have more info about number of bitcoin in wallet.
At the same time, in console of bitcoin core i use the command to find private key,  but there no info about THE ADRESS who interrest me...

Somebody have an idea ?

Few years ago i had a wallet on multibit in my macbook. There is no passcode i open it the software and use it. Every month i sended BTC in my wallet but one day .. i send it at the same BTC adresse but when i open Multibit the adresse had change and i lost my fund because i didn't take the private key before.
I have the folder with wallet.dat , peers.dat , etc...
I try pywallet but there nothing detected...
Can you help me?
