Yes, this should be a good discussion on bitcoin transaction fee, although it is true that "low fee", but provided nobody is bidding the transasction fee. So, alt coin will replace bitcoin sooner or later if high transasction fee does not solve.

I would say it is as easy as solo mining other coin in settings. But if you meant solo mining with gpu or cpu then you can forget about it, x11 is an ASIC algorithm.
I am new to the topic I would like to know what coins can be mined, what do you recommend?
By connected the USB miner he can mine with the cheap coins like BCN, Digibyte and etc but if you expect the profit in that we will not be sure about it because its profit not like you expected with the ASIC hardwares. If the coin is minable means you can mine the any coin in that list. Try to afford money for buying the multiple graphic cards and invest your money in making the mining rig. That will give atleast lesser than 100 USD by mining it.
BCN? Do you mean bytecoin? Bytecoin is a cryptonight algorithm coin, how to mine with USB miner?

Actually you will get almost the same total coins mined at the end, but less miner's pool will find block once a few hours... So, I prefer to join pool with most miners.

I went through the process last night with my Trezor to claim my Bitcoin Gold and it was very easy. I had to update the firmware first which only took a few minutes. Once that was done it was very quick to claim the BTG which I then shot over to Bittrex to keep on the exchange for now till I decide when to sell it. Seems like a waste but I do not plan on holding BTG any longer than I have to at this point.
Thanks for the info, and I just realized that BTG is listed at bittrex now.

I have checked whattomine.com and 550sol should get 0.0079 per day, but this is an average estimation, so maybe you should mine more days to get correct estimation. I guess suprnova might have less miners, so two days profit can't really calculate the average earning.
Since June, is quite a long time for any one to lose patience. However, Genesis is a reputable group, I hope it is fixed.
Yes, I heard Genesis mining long time ago, and it should be good because it can survive till now. But payment problem since June is an unacceptable case, what kind of backlog that requires months to process?

You can mine with iphone as android did by using web miner, but I don't think you should risk your expensive iphone for mining.
I started solo mining Verium some days ago in an old six-core Xeon E5645.
I got arround 1700-1800 H/m with 11 threads.
However, I only mine from 10pm to 8am, when electricity is cheaper. I still got 0,00000... and the days to find a block don't seem to get any lower.
I'm I doing something wrong? When mining solo I have to have it working 24/7, or not?

Honestly, your hashrate is very low compared to network hashrate. Solo mining is not recommended, better try pool mining.

I have one 750ti on duty, and I found that this GPU best with cryptonote algorithm, you can choose any of this algo coin such as XMR, BCN, or maybe one of the popular coin now called electroneum.
