FYB-SE har varit i drift i 16 månader och har stadigt utvecklats till en av de ledande möjligheter för människor att handla Bitcoins i Sverige.
Under denna perioden har vi brottas med tillsynsmyndigheter och flera banker för att hålla vår service operativ.
Tyvärr fick vi ett besked idag från vår bank där de meddelar oss att vårt bankkonto kommer att upphöra på fredag.

Den här gången har vi inte möjlighet att använda ett annat bankkonto vilket innebär att uttag i SEK kommer att upphöra på fredag (14 NOV 2014, 16:30).

Bitcoin insättningar / uttag är opåverkade och kommer fungera som vanligt.

För att lösa detta problemet har vi bestämt oss för följande:

1/ Vi kommer utveckla vårt system så det fungerar som en P2P modell för att bli decentraliserad och mindre beroende av banker.
2/ Vi kommer införa en intern SEK överföringsfunktion på fredag, vilket gör att befintliga användare som vill ta ut sitt kapital kan handla med andra användare som vill göra insättningar i SEK till vår handelsplattform.

Detta kommer att fungera som en alternativ väg för användarna att göra insättningar / uttag medan vi fortsätter förhandla om ett nytt bankkonto.
Vi arbetar också för närvarande med att bli en sekretessorienterad P2P handelsplattform.

Vi ber er - våra betrodda användare - att behålla ert förtroende för oss. Vi kommer att göra allt vi kan för att fortsätta ge er en plattform som erbjuder er ett enkelt och snabbt sätt att  köpa / sälja Bitcoins.

Vi är naturligtvis öppna för alla förslag och kommentarer för att förbättra vår service.

FYB-SE has been in operation for 16 months and has steadily grown to be one of the leading avenues for people to trade bitcoins in Sweden. Over this period, we have had to wrestle with regulators and multiple banks to keep the exchange operational.

Sadly, today we received a letter from our bank informing us that our account is to cease operations by Friday (14 NOV 2014, 16:30).

This time, we are left without another bank account and fiat deposits/withdrawals shall cease processing on Friday. Bitcoin deposits/withdrawals are unaffected in any way.

We have laid out all our options and it comes down to the following two:

1/ We cease operations and call it quits

2/ We evolve and adopt a P2P model to become decentralized and less reliant on legacy banks

We have decided not to roll over and die but to go with the latter option and will take a cue from what the Chinese exchanges did when they lost their bank accounts earlier this year.

The Proposal

We will introduce an internal SEK transfer function by Friday, which will allow existing users who wish to withdraw their SEK balances to trade their balances with other users who wish to deposit SEK to the exchange. This will serve as an alternate avenue for users to deposit/withdraw SEK while we continue to try and secure a new bank account. We are also currently working on adding P2P options for additional functionality.

We ask you, our trusted user, to continue to put your faith in us and we will do all we can to continue providing a platform for you to be able to buy/sell bitcoins easily. We are open to all suggestions and any feedback is welcome.

We now have a working paper wallet generator. I've used the source from walletgenerator.net and modified their code
to work with magi. Now we have the ability to cold store our coins or the ability to give away an offline wallet with some magicoins on it to a friend.

The wallet has been tested by my and joelao95, we both have used the generator to get an public and privet key, sent a small amount of xmg to that address. Then after the coins where sent we imported the private key and then received our amount of xmg sent to that address.

Please be sure to test it before you use it, send a small amount of xmg to a generated address and the import the private key.

How to import the private key to your wallet

Open help and choose, in debug go to the tab Console and type importprivkey

The response should look like this if successful

In the image above I use a working key that has been generated with this tool just for this example.

If you get any other response for ex. Invalid private key (code -5), this would mean that the generated private key is invalid.

The paper wallet generator has been created to work completely disconnected from internet.

The recommended way to create a wallet that is going to be used as cold storage is to download the zip file, link to zip, to a clean system, disconnect from the internet, generate the an address and then print the wallet so you have both the public and private key.
Do not use print to PDF or take a screenshot and save it on the computer. Keep the printed paper wallet safe, if you loose your private key your coins will be lost and there is no way the get them back.
