Definitely, while the increase increase in buy support and volume is nice, we want to see slow and steady growth. However, it's kind of hard when sometimes it only takes 0.5btc for a 20% price increase right now.

That's just gonna happen when there are only 55,000 coins.

Seriouscoin,

I kindly want to ask what is really unique about this coin? I read all those things, you have written above, but they all seemed to me that you can find those in any kind of coins these days. Also it made me just a crowd of words but no actions. Can you please kindly state what is the next solid plan ? Will you create some unique tech developments like XC or DRK or BC had in their time? I am asking this, coz I have some XBC and thinking to invest some serious amount any soon, so I though maybe it is my right to know in my end..... Thank you and Warmest Regards,

Hello again halinyo,

In simplest terms, our next solid plans (short term) are our webstore which has been undergoing heavy development and a revision/customised interface to our wallet with additional features. The webstore should be wrapped up in the coming weeks. When I suggest a webstore I do not mean we are buying a prebuilt merchant application, this is something built from the ground up by Wallenstein himself including projects he has been focusing on for years before crypto ever even emerged and we already have vendors on the line with proposals on the table for incorporation.

I think the best way for you to get the true grasp of us would be to accept this challenge; talk to our developers in real time. Join us in our live chat at https://www.xbcplus.com/irc/bitcoinplus-irc-chat.htm and feel free to contact us, ask for wallenstein for insight on the webstore development, mindfox for discussion on wallet innovation, or myself for a breakdown on everything (SeriousCoins)

I do understand the point you are making. We are pressing to incorporate many factors which many coins promise but fail to successfully deliver. To this let me remind you that this is the exact reason why I hunted down trade professionals to incorporate into our core team. This coin hasn't been built upon a single developer purchasing a wallet and making false promises - We have a web developer who has been in business for over 25 years, we have a software developer who has over 30 years of experience, we have business professionals (including myself, I have been in the Accounting and Finance sect nearly half of my life on top of my passion for development). We all have a lot of connections and will deliver on these promises. I also believe thus far we have proven we are a long term team, we worked during a market pump to our highest price point, we continued to work through our lowest points and never once broke down, only keeping our eyes on our long term goals.

As far as wallet technology, we are working out our spec sheet for coming wallet updates, as well as our overall intentions for an investor proposal. If you look at our official forum (just launched): https://xbcplus.com/community/ you can find the project section where I have posed the initial input forum for wallet revisions. I have been working on a concept I believe will be groundbreaking for a wallet feature, but I cannot announce with conclusive evidence that this is so within an estimable time frame. Lastly, the absolute primary focus on my end is to bring real life business value to these coins. There is always a new wallet feature that comes and goes, but where is the true intrinsic value to the coin? Where is the coin with a team of real world professionals working towards these goals of real world mainstream vendor applications and usage who have the experience and know how to make these things so? This is where XBC will surely stand way ahead of the pack. This is not a coin to buy and hold for one day, we are all in this for the long haul and will continue working tirelessly until we build a self sufficient machine.

with all due respect to all that awesomeness...  My outsider take is:

Bitcoin itself is too slow for many point of sale situations but always has the advantage of being more likely to hold it's value over other fast but volatile alt coins.

Bitcoinplus is super fast and offers the promise of value-stability due to the small number of coins.

Bitcoin has serious future issues to overcome with the expense of POW and no possibility of an increase in the number of BTC in existence. (the problem there is BTC may become too valuable to spend but the expensive network needs transactions to survive)

Bitcoinplus is POS now so the cost to support the XBC network is significantly less than BTC's network. The supply of XBC will grow moderately over time - hopefully in alignment with adoption.

Those advantages really matter, but yes other coins have the features (pretty much anyway, XBC has an amazingly small number of coins).  Bitcoinplus, however, can be more easily marketed with those features because it can be branded as the fast cousin of BTC due to the name similarity.

With all due respect to Mr. Shakespeare this may well be a situation where there is really something special in the name;  the 'plus' is really relevant and should be easy to communicate over time.

This coin is very interesting.  It has had some dev and wallet issues that would have sunk most coins.  However, it has held up amazingly well.

Could be REALLy interesting once everything with the wallet is tied down.

i can invest about 1-2 BTC, but i think we need 30-50 BTC.
then buy 2 weeks constantly, 1-2 btc per day.

i have tried this with about 1 BTC about 2 weeks ago, but it was much too less, in a view hours it was over.

what do you think, anyone want to be with?
10 to 20 people with 1-2 btc each...

if it doesnt work we have at least many, many flappys then Wink

ps: i hope you can read my great english Smiley

I don't think any is needed, we just slowly build towards an honest community and honest coin through hard work.

Though big things are always coming so buy before it's never this low again xD

Though our major problems are sell walls and people expecting overnight rises. A stable currency should rise, but at a rate of 2% a year to deal with inflation, crpytocurrencies are of course different but seeing 200% over night isn't normal. There's definitely a problem seeing that type of rise and you can almost guarantee it's market manipulation when it occurs. We don't want to lie to anyone, things take time.

So we build slowly towards our goals. If you want to buy what helps the most is buying a little each day over a long period of time. Say 10 litecoins worth a day or more, but to also make a market rise you gotta buy above market price.

The best thing that can happen for this coin is already happening - it has a serious dev.  This guy is focused and competent.

Everyone says it is the community that makes a coin - OK, but a community forms around a coin and it's dev.  People look to a leader and actually want need to be led.  As long as this dev keeps his eye on the  ball a community will (re)form and the coin will follow.

I mean this with all due respect but do you think it is wise to be talking this way about a mod?  Mods deserve respect and are here to help keep some order.  I, for one, appreciate what they do.  If a mod has an opinion that strong don't you think it should be given a significant amount of weight?  If he, as a mod - a position of trust, after all - thinks the name of the coin was chosen to confuse people maybe we should listen.

Heh, he's not a moderator of this alt forum. He just stuck a 'mod' name into his username. Anyone can do that. I can make an account here with a name of AdminMod-Lead, or some nonsense like that. It doesn't make me a moderator of this forum, but just a jerk.

And being a moderator of other forums doesn't hold much weight. I have moderated a gaming forum for like 8+ years and that doesn't mean a whole lot here, nor should it.

What???!  No....  Sorry, you must be wrong.  If he is NOT a mod then wouldn't it be possible that people would see his name and be confused?   That would make him guilty of the same thing he has accused others of.   No one would be that foolish and hypocritical...

...the scam is the name of the coin, it was created solely to deceive people...

I realize I'm new here but are you actually a mod on these forums? I mean your name has mod in it, I just want to know if I'm being deceived...

This is the first coin I've invested in, after doing my research the reason I've picked this coin was because of how dedicated and responsive the dev team is.
Hes not a MOD

Patiently waiting to exchange the XBC in my QT ....
theyre testnnetting the new wallet.  keep your coins in the old QT then you'll have to contact Serious14 to exchange the old ones to the new blockchain 1:1 once the wallet is finished testing and released to everyone.

actually i am but not here, not too diff to figure out...i'm not here to spam my links.  Wink

I would say that you've made more than enough ignorant statements at this point, allowing everyone to judge your character and intentions adequately, etc... perhaps it's time to move on.  Allow the community to use this announce page for what it's intended... updates, developments and discussions about future innovation to follow.  Thanks for expressing your thoughts.  Take care.

Crossed The Lined

I do not care if you spread fud about me in the forum. I do not care if you felt the need to post my personal info since I am not hiding and never I tried to hide. But to post a pic of a teenage girl in an open forum that is mostly men is not only fucking deplorable, it goes to show what kind of low lives you really are. I have ALL your names and addresses and I NEVER once thought about posting that info ion this forum. There are people from this forum and CryptoRush who would love to have Soepkip's address, and I would never have crossed that line. One of you better PM me and resolve this now before I decide to start crossing the line. And I promise you....you do not want me to start crossing the line. I do not want to see not one more fucking post from your fake accounts or minions.
Who are "THEY" that you keep talking about? One idiot posted a picture from your Facebook. He's an idiot and should be banned, but there's not a huge conspiracy trying to take you down you crazy asshole.

OK you guys think I am fucking around...now watch my next move...

"OK you guys think I am fucking around...now watch my next move..."

Wow! Wow! Wow! Please be clear that those fighting words are not directed at the hundreds of innocent members of this community, given you have our real-world addresses!

In any case, please Chris, please do stop.  You are on really dangerous ground.  Don't you see that post was a warning?!!

It is sad but so very true that when you attack the wrong person on an online forum you can end up with a terrible crap-storm.

Every website you own becomes vulnerable, every product you sell becomes vulnerable, every social media account becomes a hack target.

Mess with the wrong person and they will go beyond web assets and into your real world - utilities, employers, neighbors, posting fake info in offender databases - really really scary stuff.

Ever heard of someone finding hundreds of clearly libelous posts made about them all over the internet?

I once knew a guy who was so angry he got someone's social security number changed in an important .gov database.

Of course, you have not only attacked individuals but in the process the integrity of BC itself.  Many people have invested real money in this coin.  You live in NY so you should know this; some people play serious hardball when real money is at stake.

I have honestly been concerned for you because it was just a matter of time before you were identified. You don't have anything to fear from "THE GROUP", you should fear pissing-off the wrong 20 year old with a buddy in Anonymous.

Please for the sake of your family, don't push this.  It would be wise to just apologize and move on.

I hate what people will do to each other when they are angry.   Please don't act in anger and provoke a terrible backlash!

It was not directed at the ENTIRE community...just them...and they know who they are.

Thank you!  I surely do not want to be dragged into this by finding my name and address online.  Peace.

Also you can earn FlappyCoins, when you Play successfull the FlappyCoin Game. Every Gateway you pass with the Flappy you can earn 1 FlappyCoin.
[...]

Problem with this idea is that it is really hard to proof if a score was achieved or faked.
And if it is proven a score was achieved it still might be the achievement of a bot.
Very true, bringing back the game is a wonderful idea but truh brings up a great point. We don't want to get into any issues with faking of scores, so perhaps coins would not be the best options such as buying/selling coins to play the game. Could get tricky, and people can easily feel cheated and rightfully so if the game can be manipulated or played with a bot.

Myself I see a situation or a game could be created based on the below situation.

Betting games/flappybird.

2 players agree and are linked together in a match with a floating flappycoin balance both parties deposit. They both play and the winner get's the coins. This would allow it to be trusted between members. Even then we would need to ensure no issues with faking of scores, unfortunately I don't see many ways to prevent bots from analysing screen objects and playing the game for them.

Perhaps the only way to get around that would be verified players you bet on who play the game via verified matches.

I am probably over thinking it, best course of action probably will be to bring the game back without coin integration and perhaps work towards a solution and some sort of integration.

really nice idea!

Hello New Dev Team

We Appreciate your works and the rebirth of the FlappyCoin.
Actually the markt is unsure how to transform wallet Version 1 FlappyCoins to the wallet Version 2 FlappyCoins, me included.

Someone should create clearly defined and visualized instruction how Transfer FlappyCoins from Version 1 Wallet to the Version 2 Wallet.
Also should the offiziall Homepage www.flappycoin.info have a News Section, where all the central Informationen are also postet, which will be automatically trustfull.

FlappyCoin has actually the highest potencial of all coins out there.
New Post will come about some good Ideas for the Dev to realize.

So i hope for detailed and easly to unterstand instructions, thanks very much!
Deivsh

I totally understand where he is coming from.  No one want to take any chance of losing coin.  I've written lots of software and still feel a tinge of stress when it comes to updating wallets!

This coin should be seriously noob friendly - a step by step with pics would be nice.  I'd make one but my FLAP is at an exchange.

I've modified the payout code so it should work fine from now, automatically. I just need to know if you received the last payout fine.

Just checked and YEP!  got 'em

I have over 1000 confirmed at minep.it I sent them a ticket for a manual withdrawal and no response as of yet.

Hi

Sorry, we've had a lot of emails about this coin so thought it might be easier to address them all in one go here!

It looks like we're on the right block chain again now and the wallet looks to be working fine. Problem is we're now -27000 VC from payouts on the wrong fork. Technically we're not in negative balance but the payout systems on the pool see it that way, so fail.

The only way we can payout at the moment is to do manual transactions. As this is a timely process we'll have to work some kind of system out. I can maybe do a batch payout once a week or something.

Let me know if anyone has any better ideas.

Thanks

There were only a few people mining over the last few days.  How about get them paid and go to a weekly payout if need be?

So, to clarify as I've not been following this closely (working on other stuff), has this coin gone through 3 blockchains since public launch?

My first coins were lost in the early days (post public launch) now I've got 7k coins unconfirmed and only 2k confirmed.

Was it the pools that didn't respond to let the dev know they'd switched and the dev went for a fork anyway or what the hell's happened?

nvm, I can see the pools have been switching between different chains as I've got occasional coins on the latest chain but 3 wallet restarts (for a fresh chain download) connected to 3 different chains each stopping at different points (without using conf file for addnodes).

What an utter mess. Ah well, take a risk with a new coin, maybe you'll win, maybe you'll lose.
With this one, I lost Sad

I have been tracking pools, it seems should/have over 30000 coins.
Forking issue was resolved few days back, unless pool never bother to update it. Dev can't force pools to update, nor some have confirmed what hash they r using. Just be careful, some pools may just decide to keep your coins, let's not blame Dev if they stole it.

do you mean we should be concerned that minepit has stolen miners coins?

DO NOT DO A PUBLIC PUMP

Official statement from BlackCoin devs and holders:

For the past 55 days we have all been building on the next big thing, and a lot has happened. We went from a measly 500 sat price point to trading daily in a 40-50k range. Some people here seem to be nervous about manipulation by whales and other things, from 'less progression' and 'attacks on BlackCoin' as a whole.

If you haven't noticed yet. We are still here, we are working daily, a team of over ten persons, 16 hours a day, putting in a hell of an effort to get this coin beyond what it is currently, and with this team we have had many successes so far.

We have support from actual investors, that have, besides investing in the coin itself, given upwards of 50,000$ in support to projects that have either been done already are ongoing and releasing in the future. In the past day ALONE we have been added to BitCoinWisdom, to BitcoinBazaar and to Pock.io. We are sponsoring DogeCON SF and working hard on getting our name out there in the world.

Those that are impatient and want the price pumped: Stop.
Stop it with the instant gratification you guys all seem to be after. If you really want to get 'rich' or get a good profit out of BlackCoin then you WILL have to support it. Tell your friends, tell your neighbours. Build a product for BlackCoin, start convincing merchants that they need to add Coinkite to their mix.

Things you can do to help BlackCoin:
- Find new holders, convince your friends to invest in BlackCoin
- Add buy support to the current price. If everyone here instead of pumping the coin, adds actual buy support, AND KEEPS IT THERE, you'll see a lot more interesting things happening.
- Convince Merchants to accept BlackCoin, convince merchants to start using Coinkite
- Have patience.

A lot of things are coming in the near future:
- 2nd of May - KNC Miner give away starts
- Start of May - The first BlackCoinCard will be send out.
- The BlackCoin team will be visiting conferences all over the world
- Version 2 of the BlackCoinPool will launch.
- June 1st - Coinkite will add us.

We have a lot going on. Support us and help us build BlackCoin. You won't regret it if you do.

Also: If you have questions about BlackCoin, the devs, or anything related. Come join us in #blackcoinpool. You can speak with me, maarx, gritt-n-auld about anything you wish. We are honest, transparant and want to make this the best damn coin out there.

This is why I'm in this coin.  Maturity.

I think tales is on wrong chain still. minep.it has same hashrate as the wallet shows so looks good to mine there.

they are both on block 5414 -current block

isnt that unlikely if either is on a wrong chain?
