We are happy to officially announce our strategic partnership with Barter Trade, this is something that the community has been really enthusiastic towards!

Shard will be listed on Barter Trade upon launch of their exchange within the coming month, so make sure to keep an eye out.

We look to explore further opportunities together in the future to collaborate and grow our ecosystems.

The Shard website has received a full new update as we look to push Shard forward. The website has had the entire UI re-worked as well as more information added.

You will find new information such as Shard grants from the development fund for community projects and community activities, additional Shardax partnered project reveals and what we look to achieve in the coming years.

To celebrate the new website launch we will be burning 100,000 Shard in the next weeks.

Take a look and let us know your feedback on what you think. We now look to rework the whitepaper and update the buy.shardcoin.io website, which is a broker between exchanges to make getting Shard easier.

actually it's good to see some movimentation on this thread.
apart from all the discussion if SHARD is a scam or not

are there any plans on listing it on a real exchange again?

are there places for people to sell SHARD?
if yes, where?

Shard is currently available to trade on stakecube. Since Shard has no funding getting listed on exchanges is hard since many ask for tens of thousands of dollars and some hundreds of thousands.

There are changes being worked on for Shard and if you check out the latest updates you can learn more. The Shard dev team is currently looking for members to join the team to help with raising funding in regards to the Shard quantum blockchain which would be a game changer.

Shard is one of the few coins still working with no funding, with a team dedicated to the project since the start. While looking to achieve so much, pushing blockchain forward with one of the biggest projects in blockchain, which obviously requires a lot of funding.

In regards to the scam comments, some people just seem to think that with no funding things can magically happen, like a top level blockchain that requires many full time blockchain devs, or listing on exchanges.

Ok, my bad, indeed you have burned the 16.3M coins from the 25M premined coins. What happened with the rest of 8.7M coins? Sold them on Discord? OK, then the coins you sell on the shard website, came from... ?
Anyway, I see nothing good for the people who invested in your coin, I lost a lot of money due to your greed. I'm done writing in here so your shitcoin thread is bumping up. Have a good life!

The very little funds raised in a pre-sale were spent and voted by the community to list on 2 of the biggest altcoin exchanges at the time, cryptopia (the team had to help fund this) and crypto-bridge, so I have no idea what greed you are talking about. The team have only put their entire time into this project, personally funded the project in benefit of the community and not sold Shard but bought instead.

I dont think you would find another team that is so dedicated and invested in the project.

As explained 3 times now, the buy.shardcoin.io trades directly on exchanges and sends the funds back out to the user. So the Shard comes from the exchanges which is anyone selling Shard at the time, nothing to do with us selling as has been made clear multiple times now.

OK, so how much did you burnt from the 15 M coins, 1 Million?
You have been provided all information of the burns and how to verify them, so I would appreciate if you did that rather than making things up. Every burn done has also been previously announced at the time and the 15 million Shard burn was voted on by the community to be burnt visible on the blockchain and verifiable using the Shard wallet as informed previously. Additionally on top of the 15 million there has been 1,535,000 Shard burned from the SCR.

Quote
I assume you are still staking & selling them on your website, like @Neoterix stated earlier for 5000 sats each.
I assume you are capable of reading the previous reply in regards to this ? But I will quote it here for you.

Buy.shardcoin.io is a swap service where a user sends btc, bnb, ltc or xrp which is swapped for Shard on an exchange where Shard is listed. Since the Crypto-Bridge shut down the price had to be fixed as the remaining exchange for Shard has very low liquidity and large market movements which could have manipulated the service.

I would suggest rather than attempting to troll and make up false statements, you actually get the correct details first.

False statements?!
Did you burned the unsold coins? No.
So.. good bye!

If you want to troll you should try a little harder since Shard was burned and can be seen on the blockchain which never lies.
If you had researched Shard you would know that this information is on the Shard Github https://github.com/ShardcoinRepo/shard#shard-burns

The blockchain never lies indeed, but can we see the burning address? as the tx ID you posted doesn't seems to contain standard TX, neither the amount of coins burned. At least I couldn't find any more info than the date of the supposed burn.

It is very simple to know if a burn has happened go to the Shard wallet or explorer and lookup the TX.

If you go to the explorer you will find most of the burns will have x amount in and x amount out, like the first burn transaction ed661dda74380037c035f1f6b60194095d584a0c36399a06a615b6b7c39b0028

Total sent = 1,000,000.9996
Amount returned = 0.99950000
Transaction fee = 0.0001

Burn total = 1,000,000.9996 - 0.99950000 - 0.0001 = 1,000,000 Burn

If any of the transactions on the explorer say NONSTANDARD TX then it is because the explorer does not recognize it as a transaction since nothing was returned back in the transaction, so in that case you can look it up on the Shard wallet and it should return something that looks like this for the burn transaction a1e158e3ee3f98fe891f7a729a8a97b9c3d36378e47998ebdf40edf0df3318c4

38% off - Thursday 22th March
34% off - Saturday 24th March

Any unsold unallocated Shard will be burned before Shard is listed on its first exchange!!

We have no interest in listing on exchanges that only focus on getting as many coins listing as possible for a listing fee and pumping volume, rather then growing their platforms user base, use and brand for the future.

These exchanges bring zero benefit to Shard, apart from providing those that want to sell a way to sell more easily than on Crypto Bridge in the short term. This is why the team is currently working with a wide range of exchanges on building lasting partnerships, however this is not an overnight task.

Also if you have read our latest release regarding the Quantum Project you will find that we are looking at solutions to get additional funding for the Shard Quantum project as well as other Shard related things such as additional exchange listings.

They don't want to list it because after more than 2 years they are still selling coins for 0.00010000 a piece here https://buy.shardcoin.io/
Archive

Yes this is 100% Scam. Stay away!

I think you need to get your facts right before commenting.

When you say we don't want to get listed on exchanges, where do you think the funds to list will come from? Since we have previously put the majority of the community funding into exchange listings and our team even helped fund listings as well. However the exchanges we were listed on have shut down.

Buy.shardcoin.io is a swap service where a user sends btc, bnb, ltc or eth which is swapped for Shard on an exchange where Shard is listed. The community were offered a listing on Crex over a month ago and very few wanted to get listed on it. Shard unlike Shardax is a none funded open source project and the team has already spent thousands of their own money regarding many aspects of Shard, there is no interest in us funding to get listed on any other exchange at this time just to allow people to dump.

What you are wanting is marketing and new exchange listings that cost hundreds of thousands without helping and that are none beneficial at this time.

Actually Crex is one of the best exchanges out there https://liquidity.coinpaprika.com/ with a simple UI and running very smooth. But for the majority that is looking only at the fake volume of exchanges is not good enough..

As for:
- "there is no interest in us funding to get listed on any other exchange at this time just to allow people to dump." I hear you, but you don't allow people to buy neither and the price is already at the floor.
- "listings that cost hundreds of thousands" I didn't asked for binance, I asked for an exchange, there are exchanges that asks as low as 0.2 BTC like Graviex or 0.25 BTC like Yobit.

Good luck with this approach, you'll need a lot.

i think benefit is having the 100000 shard Grin

Really?! I have more than 100k SHARD but what is this good for, if I can't sell my coins when I wish.

3$ volume is a joke. But don't worry, Shard team finished the development of the Shardax, managed to bring Shard to the masses by listing it on a lot of exchanges and made a lot of marketing so now is time to move to the next step Quantum Project.... Looking good.

i just tried it out and its fantastic literally best wallet i have seen in my life if not even one of the best professional application in crypto
surprises me the amount of hard work this team puts in to everything they do its something very rare within many top 100 to 200 projects that do very little
i am proud to be a shard holder when i see work like that

Do you have 100k? I don't think so... so you tried nothing, you are just a shill.

Anyway I must admit, the team is hard at work, but we need marketing and at least one new exchange. (a product with 0 marketing is worth 0, a product you can't buy is useless)

If you have 100,000+ Shard you can access the Infinity Wallet UI prototype and be able to explore and provide your feedback on the UI and the features it contains.

If you meet the requirement you can contact a member of the Shardax team on discord to verify and gain access.

ok, but what are the benefits for big holders, just a sneak-peak into the wallet?

I've read the article and I have some concerns. I wonder if Shard/Shardax will hold an ICO to gather funds for the developement of The Quantum Project what will happen with the already SHARD coins out there, or the initial investors will be able to swap their coins to the new ones. Also what will happen to the original shard chain and original coins?

The Shardax team and Shard team are currently only investigating options in a joint effort from both teams. We would like to know if some of the interests from those that suggested them aligns with the interests of others to achieve the Quantum Project under Shard. The main issue is that no investors are going to fund the Quantum project without something in return and since Shard is open source with no funding then it is required that Shard finds outside funding to complete this project that highly benefits all Shard holders.

Thanks for the answer!

My personal opinion is that the Shard/Shardax team should first develop Shardax/Shard project and after then go for the Quantum Project. If they will start working on several projects you'll end up like Ethereum, NEO, Cardano developers (and many other project developers out there) that are working on more projects at a same time and ended up not finishing neither of them.

This is just my opinion.

Also why do you state "Shardax team and Shard team" isn't one team for both?

Thanks!

There is no plan to proceed with the Quantum Project until 2020, however a project of this size requires a lot of pre-planning and this is why we are currently planning with the Shardax team and getting feedback from the community.

If you are interested in following some of the latest work on the Infinity Wallet then you can find a new sneak peak of the swap feature that has been shared on youtube by Shardax.

There are 2 examples that have been worked on, so do let Shardax know what you think if you have any feedback.
