Re: [ANN] [ICO] nametoken (NAT) - the first decentralized domain eco system
by

This project is dead, no news since over 1 Year  I just submitted it to https://deadcoins.com

Here a link to the ERC-20 Token NAT  https://etherscan.io/token/0x22467d25320dda37f254b0f56309c2bce673ba62

Project Leader Jens Peteressen is still CEO right now, as his linked in Profile is stating: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jens-peterssen-5704a928/

I personally don't think this is a scam, more bad project management and lost of interest? At least this guy could set the code they wrote for this platform open source.

Re: How is data (text and images) recorded on Steemit blockchain?
by

on 15/07/2016, 12:39:07 UTC
Its not possible to store some images in posts right now, only text.

And another question is how fast the blockchain size is growing? On the long run, it makes no sens have everything on the blockchain.

After downloading it from coingen I mined the genesis block last saturday, see here: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/3640-swisscoin-swc-from-coingenio-hijacked/?hl=swisscoin

I can't support the client, because its from coingen, and it looks like its quite buggy.

by

ok, the pools are connected? I was wrong then. I tought that if one pool finds a block he will just pay to all shares, but in reality p2pool is also an peer2peer protokoll and also should prevent pool stealing. This is well explained here:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool

sorry for my falsely allegings and thanks for clarifying this

If you do some cloud mining, you'll get that automatically when cloning instances: you can have literally hundreds of CPUs mining to the same address in a few mouse clicks, the limit is ho much you're ready to pay to your cloud hoster Wink

ok, I got that. But why is the address not showing in the pool Graphs?

http://fairquark.dyndns.org:9650/static/graphs.html?Day
http://fairquark.dyndns.org:9650/static/graphs.html?Hour

I imaging, as a pool owner, I can just write some fake shares directly to the pool DB. Or is this not possible, because its in the bitcoin (fairquark) protokoll?

Is this a pool scam?

I'm mining on http://fairquark.dyndns.org:9650

For the last Block (19306) Address  qXZhMBQ8nxQ9pdV9iZXxiUtdmvVs9jiPNi gets 555.88566 FRQ.

Its on the same block, like my payoutaddress qPjKF7rvpYHV5GJHNzxtFjn4hx3cCTFcRU (15.16519 FRQ).

http://finder.fairquark.com/block/0000000053981a13091905d38226d63efeebc1d4899ef9b76aec139a28957610

So this guy has cpu 37 as fast as mine?

My Performance on the pool is 25.5kH/s, his should be 925kH/s, or to be said 1 MH/s.

But on the pool Stats, there is no such Address? And nobody with this hashingpower?

Is this a pool scam?

http://fairquark.dyndns.org:9650/static/graphs.html?Week

Please explain?

What can I use for Linux?

just make sure you installed libcurl3-dev

Code:
aptitude install libcurl3-dev

redownload the source, I am using this repro:

Code:

git clone https://github.com/MaxGuevara/quark

then it should work, proceed:

Code:
  ./autogen.sh
 ./configure CFLAGS="-O3"
  /make

I compile on LInux Mint 16, and it worked.

Hallo to bitcointalk
by

on 01/12/2013, 12:53:05 UTC
I want just to say Hallo and introdruce myself:

I mined some bitcoin back in 2011.  Now I am more intrested in altcoins.

I compield betacoind an my linux box, because there binary waw not running. Now I mine some betacoin.

One reason I am here is, to be totaly honest, that I want to get some betacoin giveaway. Because mining on CPU only is a quite useless.
