I have started an experimental P2Pool for Vertcoin.

Note that to use cgminer to mine Vertcoin, a modified version is required. Information on the link above.

Difficulty:
If you want to manually control your difficulty, you can use the following formulae:
Vertcoin Address+(0.00000116 x Hash Rate in KHash)
As an example, for a 7950 running at 290 KHash/s:
290 x 0.00000116 = 0.0003364
So the username would be:
VmfbcPe9Sz8tg3behbNrPb37A6wPtpNuk1+0.0003364

Note the following:
- P2Pool payments can take up to 24 hours to gain speed after you start mining.
- Payouts require that you solve at least one share of difficulty greater than the P2Pool share target per day.
- Do not mine with high intensity - payouts will be better at average intensity.
- There will be an increased stale rate in the miner compared to a traditional pool; this is expected behaviour for P2Pool (~5-15%)
