Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie and this is my first on bitcointalk. I started trading a month ago and already doubled up on my investments. Not a big investent as I'm still a student figuring out the ways of how this market works. I currently hold 4 coins and was seeking suggestion if I should hold them or just sell them at a loss.

Viacoin - 50% of my portfolio. Bought it a month back, was hoping for a quick rise with the news of segwit but its dipping everyday. I'm starting to lose confidence on this coin.

Shift- 30% of my portfolio. Expecting a rise since the release of Phantom sounds like a good news. Thinkinh about holding it for another month.

Feathercoin - 20% of my portfolio. Was expecting drastic rise due to the news of block halving but it has seen a rather slow decline from a good run couple of days back. Will hold it for another week or so.

Iexec RLC - 10% of my portfolio. Bought it at a high of 75 cents and have been holding ever since. Its been over a month since the decline and I'm currently at a loss. Wondering if it would be a good idea to sell and convert to a different coin. 

Any kind of suggestions will be helpful. Looking forward to becoming a regular in this forum. Cheers!

Shift seems good but they're team seems shady. Their facebook page is garbage and besides that I don't see any other outlets like telegram, Slack, reddit, etc. Am I missing something here?

I have to say i agree with you and i actually wanted to put Shift also on the list.

It depends though, right now it's kinda shady project, not much information on website and such. But it really could skyrocket, and just for the record i do hold some SHIFT, far from 50k$ though.

Shift price holding above $1.70 even though Phantom has not been released yet... That is a good sign

If we would reach a 100m mcap in one or two months that would be fantastic let alone seven days, Shift worths is more than 100m mcap but dont forget that things need time... it's better to have a helathy and steady growth.

That's only 100M marketcap.

Security: Finally, we live in a world of increased security threats. In a centralized environment, the bigger the silo, the bigger the honeypot is to attract bad actors. Decentralized environments are safer by their general nature against being hacked, infiltrated, acquired, bankrupted or otherwise compromised as they have been built to exist under public scrutiny from the outset.

I see a x5 during the next 7 days.

Soon they will release Phantom in testnet, and if they are so fast like in the last update, very soon it will be in mainnet (last node updates was switch from testnet to mainnet in only 2 days).

I actually have a regret for selling my shift. I bought like 2 months ago and I really made a good profit with that investment. After that I sold all of my shift out and get back to bitcoin. No I feel like I've made a mistake.

No way for $100 but I hope it at least doubles as I am holding a solid amount of SHIFT

There is still lots of cheap Shift to be had

price is undervalued
