It is not going to be deleted just because you disagree. The request for deleting that topic is urgent because it is attacking a person and has absolutely nothing to do with scam!

The bottom line is that "altcoins" are useless except Namecoin which is not only the first Bitcoin fork but is also directly connected to Satoshi Nakamoto. Not to mention that all new altcoin are released by some corporation which expecting profit. All these useless altcoins are eventually will fade away because a few people controls most of those coins. I'm a strong supporter of Bitcoin and Namecoin and I believe that all other coin worth nothing more than a poop!

Take a look at this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194228.0

I agree.  All transactions, IP changes, renewals, etc. should have some fee that goes to the miners.

You might consider a certain amount of work to generate a domain, instead of a fixed total circulation.  The work per domain could be on a schedule that grows with Moore's Law.  That way the number of domains would grow with demand and the number of people using it.

Unfortunately Namecoin the first Bitcoin fork losing ground because capitalists speculating on Bitcoin price. Since 2016 the number of altcoins dramatically increased in order to get a share from the cryptocurrency boom.

I strongly believe that all other altcoins except Namecoin are totally useless.

Currently there are serious problems also in the development of Namecoin QT which according to my best knowledge not allowing to register .bit domains by choosing the coins the user may wish to spend. In the other hand Electrum-NMC very buggy and would need help from developers. In the future Namecoin will eventually going to beat all other altcoins because the current situation in the field of free speech is just getting worse.

Satoshi Nakamoto said that "..number of domains would grow with demand and the number of people using it." But we have a problem today. Some people have registered hundreds of .bit domains and they not using it at all. Need to increase the fees in my opinion and that way squatters will be forced to give up many unused names.

I do use Namecoin and I will very likely always will exchange Bitcoin to Namecoin because as I said it is the only useful altcoin which ever created.

Cheesy I enjoyed reading your reply! What you mean by boring coin?  Shocked I think the general public simply just don't understand what is Namecoin. Namecoin is a very strong currency with a history which directly linked to Satoshi Nakamoto himself. Speculators mainly those who want to profit from cryptocurrencies find it useless because they only looking for money like they do with other altcoins.
This doesn't mean that the first Bitcoin fork can be ignored for too long!

I think all the coins are intrinsically useless because they are being used just for speculation at the moment and the true potential of the crypto hasn't been uncovered yet.

Namecoin is not only the first Bitcoin fork but also the answer for the greatest problems humanity facing today. In a few years you will see how Namecoin becomes the most valuable cryptocurrency regardless of the speculations by capitalists.

I will accuse you with scam and lets see if that gets deleted or not. How do you would like? You use BitcoinTalk to spread your stupid opinions and accusing people with scam who do something good. I can bet that you never in your life did something positive specially not starting a project for human rights. Maybe because you are one of those MAGA hat guys burning crosses in the USA. You should be ashamed of yourself!

I spent thousands on this project from my own pocket and I don't think it is appropriate to accuse someone with scam just because he deleted comments which linked directly to a competitor who for that matter of fact tried to register trademark in the United States and in the EU to destroy my work and stole my intellectual properties. The only reason I have deleted the question was this and not because I did not wish to answer legitimate questions. Again, the topic I requested to delete should be deleted because it has nothing to do with scam.

Seriously, any of you can imagine how it is feels when someone who don't even takes time to do some research simply attacks you and in 30 seconds declare you scammer? I did paid my last cents also to maintain this project and while there is no articles and videos I have a good reason for that.

I can assure you that less donation the address received than I was deposited to that address. In a few days you will see 0.04 BTC again will be deposited by me and my associates because we need to pay for the servers and domains names which are not cheap at all. With more donations would be faster and easier to do what we wish to do that is why I opened the topic about donations where immediately someone linked to hrf.org which in March of 2019 created copied and modified my copyrighted work and started requesting Bitcoin donations.

I note that hrf.org was the one who on 1 May 2015 applied for trademarks in the USA and EU fraudulently and in this very moment they not even using the trademark what they obtained on which by the way there is a disclaimer "NO EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO USE HUMAN RIGHTS FOUNDATION APART THE MARK AS SHOWN". The disclaimer is inserted by the USPTO because I had to protest against the registration.  My protest is accepted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This maniac scammers from the Empire State Building caused damage to us and I every day need to send take-down notices to Twitter, Google and elsewhere because they marketing my work what they reproduced illegally right after that they failed with the trademark registration and the attempt to stole my domain name.

This is the short description about the reason why I deleted the comment in the first place.

Supply/demand can't be calculated automatically: there needs to be a market. If a separate chain is used, miners need to sell domain space. I'd just put the data in the Bitcoin chain and rely on Bitcoin's transaction fees, though.

Merged mining did not created market for Namecoin and while there is demand there is no "supply" because the fees are too low and so easier to squat the .bit namespace by capitalists who want to sell those occupied names for profit. Just like they speculate today with other altcoins.

I wonder why you Theymos was so interested in Namecoin if BitcoinTalk don't use the .bit namespace. Would be great to see a decentralized BitcoinTalk instead one which is "integrated" into CloudFlare.
