Бред все это, не будет наказаний за использование криптовалют.

Вы так уверены?
В ГосДуме всерьез рассматривают вопрос уголовной ответственности. Госпожа Сидоренко говорит "Это нормально, все в рамках права".
Так что все может быть.

[2017-12-01] If you missed a train on Bitcoin: why you should look at Ethereum
by
fanatseal2
on 01/12/2017, 11:06:21 UTC
As bitcoin surpassed $10000 earlier this week Alex Lutskevych, CEO of CEX.IO shares his views on whether it is late to buy the first cryptocurrency or is it better to invest in ethereum now.
To start with, I would like to note that I am not a professional trader, so I am not able to make any forecasts. Also, due to my business activity, I cannot give any recommendations about which cryptocurrency to buy or sell. My focus is making the cryptocurrency ecosystem friendlier to the average users, in particular, by developing CEX.IO. Thus, please do not consider my comments as recommendations but rather as my thoughts.

While the crypto is all over the news and the price of Bitcoin had risen to the top, one of the most frequent questions I am always being...Read more

[2017-12-01] NASDAQ head: Bitcoin futures platform still at early stages
by
fanatseal2
on 01/12/2017, 09:26:25 UTC
“We actually haven't announced anything. Really, we are continuing to evaluate whether Bitcoin can be an asset class that can exist in a more regulated market environment”, told Adena Friedman at the recent technology event in Finland when asked about the recent reports on the Bitcoin futures platform made by NASDAQ. She heads this company, and the previous reports cited unspecified representatives of the company, who clearly talked less formally.

Two assumptions can be made on this statement. One – Friedman tells how things really are with this platform, and two – she downplays the actual development status of the platform. Anyway, she also implied that no matter the development status, they seriously assess the...Read more BTC

[2017-11-30] Turkish religious figures: Bitcoin does not suit Islam
by
fanatseal2
on 30/11/2017, 09:57:25 UTC
The conservative religious organization has declared that Bitcoin, the most famous cryptocurrency and right now, also the most expensive one, is not corresponding with the principles of Muhammad’s teachings. This organization, quite surprisingly, resides not in the Middle East, where in some countries, the TV shows are dedicated to what suits Islam and what does not, but in the relatively secular Turkey.

The Diyanet, which is how the Directorate of Religious Affairs in Turkey is also called, has stated that because Bitcoin is not controlled by any authority and has properties which easily allow its use as a...Read more BTC

[2017-11-30] Bitcoin back to normal after selloff and services outage
by
fanatseal2
on 30/11/2017, 08:58:55 UTC
Some part of the cryptocurrency trading community might have thought that $10,000 per coin is the absolute maximum Bitcoin can ever reach, and thus sold their Bitcoins lately, leading to a massive drop of the cryptocurrency price. Digital exchanges and services were not ready for such changes, and this is why the biggest and quite respected sites — Coinbase, Gemini, Bitstamp and others — stopped their work somewhere around 21:40 UTC.

In the case with Coinbase, for example, people could not enter their accounts, but the site itself worked and the team posted a link on a log that was often updated with assurances that the problem is going to be fixed soon. And in line with the...Read more BTC

[2017-11-27] U.S. Global Investors CEO: millennials have different values
by
fanatseal2
on 27/11/2017, 12:23:12 UTC
Frank Holmes, chief executive of U.S. Global Investors, the enterprise mostly about investing in natural resources and emerging markets, told his own views on Bitcoin to CNBC, and one can detect a major shift of how some institutional investors now view cryptocurrency in comparison to Jamie Dimon’s infamous “fraud” characterization.

When answering to the question about consumer protection issues, he replied that this reminds him of the 1990s Internet. But Bitcoin, while it does have some issues, has attracted so much people to the power of blockchain that it cannot be called bad, Mr. Holmes insists. He compares this situation to how e-mail services have woken up everybody to the...Read more

[2017-11-24] Deutsche Bank Chief Strategist doesn’t recommend to invest in BTC
by
fanatseal2
on 24/11/2017, 14:03:00 UTC
Institutional investors are not trusting Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, sometimes even telling this is not a real currency. While the latest person who speaks out on the theme, Ulrich Stephan from Deutsche Bank, does not call Bitcoin a fraud and does not question its right to be an investment opportunity, he also does not recommend investors to put their money into it. There is too much volatility on cryptocurrency market, stressed the Chief Strategist of the aforementioned bank.

Interestingly enough, another member of the same financial establishment reportedly predicted the end of the fiat money era. As he...Read more

[2017-11-24] These maps explain how much power Bitcoin mining consumes globally
by
fanatseal2
on 24/11/2017, 11:43:06 UTC
The difficulty of Bitcoin algorithms has been increasing over time, it changes every 2016 blocks. More and more miners entered the market, but the environment always changed towards more difficulty, and this is what made miners change CPUs to GPUs as a main tool, and some time after that, create first ASICs.

ASICs, or application-specific integrated circuits, are usually a pile of video chips connected with each other to combine computational power and mine cryptocurrency more efficiently. But the increasing difficulty led to another hardware scale increase — impressive mining farms in vast hangars with...Read more

[2017-11-23] Confido disappears after attracting $374,477 via ICO
by
fanatseal2
on 23/11/2017, 11:14:44 UTC
“It does this in a decentralized way, which is how cryptocurrencies are supposed to be,” cheerfully tells the narrator of a corporate advertisement by Confido, promoting their platform based on smart contracts. If only all ads were true — then we would see a black hole at the end of the video with money flying towards it and disappearing one by one, and with investors standing nearby and crying. Because apparently, the corporate management has decided to escape with the money it has recently raised through Confido’s ICO ($347,477), closing down its main website and social media accounts.

When The Next Web contributors found out that the YouTube account remains active, Confido owners, whoever they are, closed it as well and the news website had to reupload their advertisement directly in the article. Users noted that the social media accounts of the management were fake and...Read more

by

According to the Wall Street Journal’s trustful sources, the wealthy JPMorgan corporation might actually provide its clients an opportunity to connect with the upcoming platform Terry Duffy and CME Group are now actively developing, although they delayed the previously announced release date.

This directly contradicts Jamie Dimon’s radically conservative position on Bitcoin. He called the most expensive cryptocurrency in the world a fraud, a bubble worse than the famous Dutch tulips economic disaster, and, as if...Read more

Блокчейн vs журналистика. Кто победит?
by
fanatseal2
on 22/11/2017, 09:46:27 UTC

Read more

Will blockchain kill traditional journalism? Share your opinion.
by
fanatseal2
on 21/11/2017, 13:13:07 UTC
Sometimes journalism is ironically called "the second oldest profession." This term indeed has right to exist. In any case, all this time journalism, one way or another, depended on those who "call the tune" - organize the publishing process, pay salaries, organize distribution, and so on. But what if we stand on the threshold of an era when this settled order of things will collapse?

However, it is only blockchain journalism that is at issue at the moment. In particular, the technology of "smart contracts" has made possible the emergence of such platforms as Civil and Steemit - a self-managed platform for the media and social network, where not only posting, but even leaving comments and likes are rewarded. And these are not the only projects of this kind: PUBLIQ offers authors and readers "new sincerity" in journalism based on a reputation system. Media Shifter and Userfeeds are aimed at solving similar problems. We will try to understand the most striking examples.

Creators of Civil describe their offspring as "Self-Sustained Journalism" based on a simple observation - on the Internet, the media has much less costs than with traditional edition. Going online is supposed to preserve local journalism, which...Read more

[2017-11-16] Bitcoin passes the crater and crawls back to the surface
by
fanatseal2
on 16/11/2017, 09:38:07 UTC
It appears that the price drop seen during the past week was a temporary setback, as now Bitcoin is $7322.89. Sheba Jafari previously suggested that the consolidation price was going to be $8000, and this still might come true. Crawl out through the fallout, Bitcoin.

The price setback we have witnessed during the past 6-7 days happened almost certainly due to the cancellation of SegWit2x controversial protocol update and the subsequent decision of a huge part of miners who supported it to move to Bitcoin Cash — a currency which was in the shadow of...Read more

[2017-11-15] Zimbabwe exchanges now trade Bitcoin even higher due to the coup
by
fanatseal2
on 15/11/2017, 12:06:11 UTC
The cryptocurrency exchanges of Zimbabwe traded Bitcoin higher than in other parts of the world even before recent events regarding the political status of Robert Mugabe, 93-year-old dictator, leader of Zimbabwe since 1987.

Bitcoin’s price on the local digital exchanges was so high due to correspondingly higher demand in comparison to other countries. And the reason for all this was the local currency, as the (can we call it “previous” by now?) government of Zimbabwe was not the finest not only when it comes to human rights, but...Read more

[2017-11-15] Wealthy Man Group fund: If CME succeeds,we’ll work with Bitcoin too
by
fanatseal2
on 15/11/2017, 09:21:10 UTC
Yesterday, one tweet from Reuters has confirmed what many market analysts might have already foreseen: the decision of CME Group to work with Bitcoin has stimulated its rivals to pay more attention to this cryptocurrency as well. This is why, according to the report, the representatives of the hedge fund firm Man Group now tell they would add Bitcoin to their “investment universe” if CME succeeds.

CME Group CEO has announced the launch of Bitcoin futures at the second week of this December, so it will not be a very long time for Man Group to wait and decide if the business worth the risks. And, of course, the cryptocurrency market and the price of Bitcoin are going to grow during the...Read more

[2017-11-15] Bitcoin can be hacked in 2027, Sydney scientists suggest
by
fanatseal2
on 15/11/2017, 09:18:13 UTC
The science team at the University of Technology Sydney's Centre for Quantum Software and Information tells about a very distressing situation that might emerge once quantum computers become widespread.

Quantum computers are still at their dawn, but in the year 2027, they will evolve enough to become capable of hacking modern cryptographic means which cryptocurrencies have installed. The paper dedicated to this called Quantum Attacks on Bitcoin and How to Protect Against Them has been published online at the beginning of this month, but went largely unnoticed by the cryptocurrency community.

What could be done today to prevent threats of tomorrow? The researchers offer developing PoW (Proof-of-Work) methods which...Read more

[2017-11-14] Irani Central Bank thinks Bitcoin is too risky
by
fanatseal2
on 14/11/2017, 11:57:40 UTC
The Central Bank of Iran, quite unsurprisingly, says that cryptocurrencies pose speculation risks. This position is not uncommon among central banks of the world and could have easily been predicted, as the government of Iran is very conservative. While saying lately that it would be interesting and beneficial to broaden financial technologies, the representative of this bank is quoted as stating:

“Given that Bitcoin and other currencies have not been introduced by the central bank as the official currency, as well as the risk of buying it and the activity of traders in this field, more precautions are...Read more

[2017-11-14] When will bitcoin collapse and what stands behind crypto hype
by
fanatseal2
on 14/11/2017, 09:20:59 UTC
WHEN WILL BITCOIN COLLAPSE?
There is a widespread opinion often met in the media that crises taking place across the world increase the demand for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Recently there has been some suggestions that confrontation between the US and Korea fueled interest in cryptocurrencies. Is the cryptocurrency market so sensitive to all sorts of political games, and is it true that it’s just a pyramid and that bitcoin will crash soon, Bitnewstoday figures out.

THERE IS TOO MUCH PR-FAKE IN CRYPTO NEWS
The talks about influence of political confrontations on the demand for cryptocurrencies are considered by most experts as a PR-fake. In their opinion, journalists and representatives of crypto startups with such positions just give out desirable for valid.

Considering that the total market capitalization of...Read more
