Grin Grin Grin This idea is fucking brilliant if the people get along and the dev doesnt just dump everything few months down the road. I put up an ad on an online market and I´m accepting AUR. Mostly stuff I had problem with selling but it sold up in hours and now I have few hundred AUR coins in my wallet Smiley Saw it dropped last night but that was expected and I think it will keep on going on a rollercoaster rider until the airdrop slows down.

I got the hang of the exchange sites and I´m finding a way to withdraw BTC and maybe USD onto paypal/bank wire? for future use.

Still don´t understand mining and how it works.

Any info would be appreciated.

This implies auroracoin is already more popular than bitcoin, with 1% adoption. The crypto war has been won today. Thanks Balduro. Great idea. Best wishes to you. Many people have ideas, a few get to work to make things happen. You are one of those rare individuals.
I don't think so. I think people are claiming coins with the vodafone database leaked late 2013... There is absoluletly 0 chance that 1% of the population got in 14 hours after the airdrop...

You have to take into consideration that there is currently an ongoing teacher´s strike and there are thousands of teenagers sitting at home doing absolutely nothing.  I claimed 7 transactions of 31.80AUR and 4 of them have gone through. 6 of them were family and 1 was a friend. I wouldnt mind have a crypto currency in Iceland but I´d want it someone to take responsibility if the coins are dumped suddenly.  The dev with no face and a fake name to have the ability the destroy an economy of a whole country by dumping his share with 1 click..
