I'm running 4 dual miners running cgminer without the dualminer gui crap
I think I saw it somewhere, but do you have a link to how to do that? I guess we need to use their version of cgminer s/w. I need to start doing that.

I installed the software from their site then used the cgminer that is in the software directory and wrote my own batch file. You have to probably run their software to see what com ports your miners are sitting on. It is pretty fancy.. I can run one on one port doing doge, one on another port running FTC, then run a batch file that has all of the miners last and it will only grab the other two I have since the other two are taken. Can provide the batch command if needed, it wasn't too hard though and would vary per which com port (ex .//COM45)

So here is a general question to ask before I attempt this.  I have a desktop running 5 Graphics and another running my dualminers.  Do you think its possible to run dual miners on a desktop with CGMiner or will the two processes conflict?  I am using the dualminer interface.  I am just wondering if anybody has a setup like this.
Thanks.

One one machine I'm running 4 dual miners running cgminer without the dualminer gui crap, a gridseed running cpuminer, and a few random BTC ASICS running bfgminer without a problem. You can definitely run different programs over each other like this with no problem.

Not missing that fan noise at all. Have my fan from my DualMiners pointed at it and running them all at 850 with no extra heat to the touch. Could probably try 900.

Going to take my fan off tonight, way too loud and it appears I don't need it for scrypt mining.

Just noticed a new one, wemineall.com, going to try it out. Just for Scrypt.

I can only get 2 devices to show up in linux, anyone else having this problem?

I'm having a ton of problems in win 7. I think the usb hubs aren't up to snuff.

Anyone have a link to the recommended USB hub brand?

I only have two running on a hub but Orico 10 port USB 3.0 hub has been a trooper. $26 on Amazon and it is what the manufacturer suggests. Comes with an external power plug. I'm running Win 7 pro 64bit.

I thought the usb 3 was not good for them.

First I heard of it. Been mining away no problem. I actually have less issues with these than my bitcoin miners.

Random question, I started with Multipool.us recently but this is unrelated. Is there a pool that mines coins on speculation or newness  or some other factor rather than current value?

you should look in to why these miners die after x amount of hours

I haven't had problems with mine going down on my Windows 7 box at all. The speed isn't what I expected out of them though.

You're not getting the 70kh/s each?  I have 30 with no issues on any of them.

Silly mistake, my batch file had 400 in it instead of 800... so it was ramped down. I just copied the syntax for the LTC_ONLY they included in the bundled software. All is good now. I normally use BFGMiner so I didn't know any better.

I'm getting 25-35kh/s per a single one. I know that is the # if it is in dual mode but I'm 100% sure I have the switch flipped to L. I tried it the other way around and got the same hashrate.

Any trick you had to do? I'm running these without the GUI. Maybe I need to change my batch script.

If this helps anyone, these work beautifully on my Win 7 box but my Win 2008 R2 box I installed the drivers manually and the devices kept dropping offline and coming back on both an Orico high powered hub and directly off a USB port from the machine. Didn't spend much time working with it because I just put them back on the other box.

I have two Dual Miners and have them set up to do Doge and LTC. Should I look to mine other coins instead of these two. Doge seems so gimmicky but I love how I can mine a ton of them.

Anyone else's run slower than spec'ed? Mine are running 25-35k at first and I have the dipswitch set to L.

UPS is delivering these today. Will run these from a batch file from the cgminer bundled with the dualminer install unless I run into problems. Don't need a GUI sitting on top.

Anywhere I can get one of these in the US for not a huge amount of money?

Don't think so, prices for all USB miners are presently all hovering in orbit and are highly uncompetitive. Wait for them to adjust but don't expect too much. Like everything in stock on the market, right now every piece of ASIC hardware seems only meant to be profitable for the hardware seller, not the customer by a very far margin.
It almost feels like they don't want too many customers at this time for some reason (?).

Although I had the cash and the basic incentive, I wouldn't ever consider buying at these prices.
I mean it's their business and I'm not to complain - but if they keep them that high for a few more weeks, they'll be 'competing' with cex.io prices Tongue quite an achievement...

I racked up on Red Furies and Antminers at really good prices. Want one of these because of the hash per watt is pretty awesome. Ah well, will wait. I'd rather invest in Dualminers but those are also too $$.

What is the -S switch in the batch file to run this in normal cgminer? I'm getting mine on Thursday and want to save a little time and know what I'm doing!

mine looks like this:

-S //. /COM##

for each dualminer that is ported.

Thanks, that is what I thought from reading other places. I was hoping to be able to do a -S "DMU:all" or something, whatever that should be.
