I was allocated 5 shares, but would love to hear from support what the status of my dividend is that I was suppose to receive in March!  Wink

God luck with that.  I was allocated 5 shares and had email confirmation.  I replied to enquire about the members forum and got this response

"Hello very sorry for the delays and no contact we had very low support (due to many scammers) and are still planning the relaunch trying to implement some sort of community based trust nobody has been scammed or lost any money during this time be patient hopefully we can achieve sharing our vision with others using a new business plan website etc."

I then asked if I could have the 5 shares converted to bitcoin and sent to me but I had no reply to that.  I then sent another email to chase this up and asked if the site was a scam......... no reply to that either.

DO NOT SEND ANY BITCOIN TO THIS SITE!!!!!!!!!!!

Am I missing something here?

I select the trade I want ad then follow the instructions to send the bitcoin to them.  The problem is that bitcoin is too slow to confirm so coinswap just cancels the trade as it thinks i havent sent the coins yet.

Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it?

Re: DOGE withdrawal on Cryptsy

This forum is by far, the most hostile forum ever, are you all just angry for no reason?

I don't think its too much to ask for cryptsy to handle their deposits and withdrawals in a swift fashion.  They are taking a percentage on each transaction they process so it's only fair that people recieve the service they are paying for.

I bet you would be pretty angry if you went to a cashpoint to withdraw some money and you had to wait 24 hours for it to give you your money?

I sent a ticket earlier and they sorted in within about 10 mins and I got my coins sent.  I think it's definitely a case of hold the rising value coins as long as possible over in cryptsy world.  Oh well.

Why not post this in Slush's thread, rather than filling the main pool forum with gibberish?

Thank you for your input DickDiverUK, I'll take your comments on board.

Anyway, it's sorted now so no need to worry.  The error was on my end.

because they must make some profit with your coin before they send it to you Cheesy

Yeah, Think I'm going to stay away from cryptsy from now on.  Just got some potcoin on swisscex.  Now that's a fast service. Withdrew my potcoins and they landed in my wallet almost instantly.  Can't grumble with that Smiley

Has anyone else had any problems?  I withdrew around 16000 DOGE yesterday at 8pm and 18 hours later it's still showing as pending.  I confirmed the withdrawal straight away via email yesterday.  Cryptsy really does take the piss sometimes.  I withdrew 100000 mooncoin at the same time which was sent through to me almost straight away.

Funny how the falling price coins get sent out faster than the coins that are rising in value.

Has everyone received mining payouts that were due? I should have got .01 sent to me yesterday but it has disappeared from my account and there is no record of it in the transaction history. Does it usually take this long or has it vanished?

I had a 0.01 payout yesterday, so I'd query this with Slush if I were you - make sure your payout address is right, and if it isn't what you expect it to be, change your account password right away!

I locked my address so that hasn't been changed.  I double checked to make sure.  I've sent Slush a pm.

Re: Noob to Raspberry Pi and Minepeon..need help installing antminer and red bitfury

Ok basically whats been happening now is:

I formatted the sd card with SDFormatter
I wrote the img of Raspbian with Win32DiskImager
It boots up and I see a rainbow but then it starts running all this code and stops at something to do with keyboard.
Ive tried an old HP Pavilion keyboard with a usb adapter and my Corsair Vengence K70. When I plug them into the powered hub they dont even light up to show they have power. Ive tried booting with them plugged in and it does the same thing...stops at keyboard. What is wrong?

Hmmm, I never had anything like this.  My pi has always detected it upon start up.  Does it work on another machine and have you tried starting the pi with the keyboard attached to it directly?  If this were to work it would probably be an issue with the hub.  Oh, another cause could be if your hub is a usb 3.0.  I read a while back that they don't work properly with pi's and to use a USB 2.0 hub.

You're probably best asking someone on the raspi pi forums for advice on this really.  I didnt see anything on a quick google search.

I did find this though http://recolog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/on-screen-keyboard-for-raspberry-pi.html for an on screen keyboard but you're obviously going to need a keyboard to type in the coding so that doesn't really help you at the moment.

Ok thanks for your help. I guess I am going to download Raspbian. but what do i do after that lol. im not very good at sudo commands and such idk anything about the cmd line in linux systems. how do you even open a program if you have no mouse hooked up? let alone use the cmd line lol

You may be best getting to your local computer store or ebay and picking up a cheap usb keyboard with mouse pad intergrated. It'll only take up 1 usb slot on your hub then.  Oh and make sure you have an external mains powered hub as the pi won't be able to provide enough juice. I just followed the thread I posted previously in regards to setting up my antminers and compiling cg miner.  Read through the whole thread though so you avoid the issues that other people encountered and if you do encounter a problem then double check your spelling as you most probably have just typed a line in wrong.  This happened to me a couple of times.  Don't worry about messing it up either because worst case scenario is you just delete your memory card, reinstall raspian software and go again.  I'm not sure about your bit fury so you'll probably have to search the forums a bit but I would imagine there are some posts on this site to help you with that.

I had never used linux commands before either but don't let it worry you.  You will learn from your mistakes and pick it up quickly.

Well the version of Minepeon I am using has both options of using bfgminer or cgminer and it shows some coding above the selection but I dont know coding so I wouldnt have any idea how to tell it how to use the antminer or the red bitfurys. Currently I am using cgminer on my pc (Windows 8.1) with the antminer, and bfgminer with my 4 red bitfurys. Are you sure I have to change OS or can I fix this somehow?

The issue I had with minepeon was that some of the second function keys wouldn't seem to work on it.  I had to compile a version of cg miner that accepted my antminers.  I know people who are using block errupters and ants had to compile 2 seperate versions of cg miner in order to get them both working.  I'm not sure if you can do this with minepeon as it is basically only an operating system. It shouldnt be too much of an issue though if you have to compile to cgminer versions as they'll both be contributing to the same mining account so you won't lose out, you'll just probably have to set up a new worker on your mining pool to accommodate the two different types of miners you have.

I'm still all new to this too but this is what I've picked up along the way so I may be way off.

minepeon wouldn't work with my raspberry and antminers so I used cgminer instead.  It worked out a lot better as I can also use the pi for other things too.  With minepeon, you are kinda stuck with that 24/7 and can't do anything else. There are a couple of helpful threads to help you install it all.

Here's the thread I found most helpful

Hey. Just downloaded the wallet client and pointed my very modest 7gh at the minebig pool.  I've got 2.99 coins confirmed as I write this.  Just over 7 more coins till I get my first 10 payout  Grin

I'd be grateful in any large coin holders generosity to get me going  Wink
