One way of gambling safe is not to use your own money to gamble. So one way to get other people money is faucets. However, not related to gambling, there is also ways to get other people money like crowdfund to design a product and so.
Gambling is worth playing if you are aiming for entertainment and nothing more but if you are aiming for profits then its a different story hence its really impossible to make stable profits on gambling and you would always end up broke on the long run. In your situation convince your friend to stop gambling immediately before its too late.
I think no one can stop you from gambling whether its friend or anyone, better self assessment is the best way to quit gambling and if someone is addicted so badly then obviously its not worth to gamble for him or her. My friends are there in real life where some actually bet for profit while some are having fun, they call me we watch sports and have part if he wins 
If that person love to his family then he will hear of his family and will think for the better future of his family so people like those are easily stopped by his family. and he then do not gamble in his life or gamble only for fun not for money.
For now i've realize that i'd play gambling both for fun and profit that depends on what games i'll play .some gambling makes me profit and some of it ill just play for fun. Its nice if both of this you play you can get back your lose amount then play again with fun.

No gambling is very risky. We will always be a loser in gambling in the long run. There's no other safe methods for gambling.. If there is? then all of us will be rich. Spend your money wisely put it in other types of investments rather than to gamble.
I agree, gambling is very risky, most of the time you are going to lose all of your money, if you are afraid of losing your money the best thing to do is do not gamble, but if you are curious try to play with faucet, it is the safest method for gamblingwhat do you mean by not using, either they are holding or not taking interest it and therefore not even trading it, if you mean that they are holding it then the price of bitcoin will go up but if you mean that people are not taking interest then the price will certainly fell down.
to me the government of Russia has also not given yet any statement about bitcoin, therefore people are using it as legal currency, but if their government consider it as illegal then it will really become difficult for them to use it.

i do not think so that bitcoin is such a week currency that it can be effect bye just a campaign again its bitcoin is a universal currency and hillary Clinton is not a universal leader, therefor no need to worry about her campaign against bitcoin,

I agree some people think that there is no profit in it, but in some stocks there are some good profits.
It is possible but most likely I would hold my stock till it will not be profitable anymore.
i think the reason is very simple we are trading in 600$ for such a long time because of the kacking issue of bitfinex, which really effect the price of bitcoin too much. but now the market is really recovering its position.

There are only two things you could possibly mean. Either gambling, which is not an investment by a long shot, or investing into a casino's bankroll, which will defenitely not double your investment...
Both are the risky place to invest your money as there is no guarantee that it will give you profits in long run, best investment is to invest in bitcoins and hold some of them and rest use in trading to grow them.
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
It would be really something is bitcoin would be taken over by some other crypto currency because bitcoin is at the moment the biggest one. It would not make much sense if the more little one would take over Bitcoin.
Anything is possible in near future and if there is a new coin which holds better and unique features then bitcoin then in it will take no time for people to quit bitcoins and switch to new coin.
Highly doubt that, maybe in the next few years IF bitcoin doesn't take over much of the global businesses, then some may consider creating/adapting a new coin to replace bitcoin.
Bitcoin will not be replaced by any cryptocurrency. I believe that bitcoin is the most trustworthy coin and it is hard to make a coin to combat bitcoins. Even there will be coins much more precious than bitcoins but still it will be the standard altcoins. The rising of a new coin is an impossibility that can never happened.
